(Neenah Payne) Black History month in February usually focuses on 20th century figures like Dr. Martin Luther King and Rosa Parks whom many White Americans now consider inspiring role models as all of humanity faces growing oppression. Unfortunately, that leaves most people unaware of the profound contributions that other Black Americans, the Moors, and ancient Egypt made to Western civilization.
