(Arjun Walia) Dr. Jacques Valée is an academic who holds a masters degree in astrophysics and a Ph.D., in computer science. He co-developed the first computerized map of Mars for NASA in 1963. The subject of UFOs first attracted his attention as an astronomer in Paris, and he subsequently became a close associate of J. Allen Hynek, who headed the US Air Force’s investigation into the UFO phenomenon, known as Project Blue Book.
