The Dangers of Common Core (And Untold HIstory of Modern Education) | Dr. Duke Pesta and Stefan Molyneux
(Mac Slavo) A democrat congressional candidate in Pennsylvania has desires to tax parents who have more than two children as “irresponsible breeders.” Scott Wallace is a population control zealot who has donated over $7 million to population control groups.
(Spirit Science Central) Reincarnation – the coming back to Earth after death in another body – is a common belief in many schools of thought and is growing in the spiritual non-religious movement as well.
(John Vibes) Research has shown that the risk of depression and suicide in children as young as 10 years old increases significantly during the school year. Related “Teen Culture” is the New Imperialism, and it is Destroying the World Source – The Free Thought Project by John Vibes, June 9th, 2018 While the annoying cultural cliche suggests that […]
(Peter Dockhill) The US birth rate has hit a new record low, with women in nearly every age group giving birth to fewer babies than a year ago.
(Jack Burns) Doctors in California have been quietly stealing DNA samples from newborns for decades and storing them in a state-run biobank.
(Joe Martino) When the topic of child birth comes up we might first think of new life and a beautiful miracle, but after that we might think of the agonizing pain that is experienced by most mothers who give birth to a child. Could it be possible that the body was meant to experience birth in a different way? First let’s understand a bit more about a “modern birth.”
(April McCarthy) Music, the universal language of mood, emotion and desire, connects with us through a wide variety of neural systems. Researchers have discovered evidence that music stimulates specific regions of the brain responsible for memory, language and motor control.
(Vicki Batts) Are children in the United States being over-medicated? According to some recent statistics, it surely looks that way. Over a million children six years of age or under are prescribed a psychiatric medication. Overall, more than eight million kids in America are on some sort of psychotropic drug — and the medical establishment is hardly batting an eye.
(Collective Evolution) Infanrix Hexa (DTaP/IPV/Hib/HepB), made by Glaxosmithkline, is a 6- in- 1 vaccine which was released onto the global market in the year 2000, and since then across 97 countries around the world including Europe, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. (Isabelle Z.) One of the hottest topics being debated in bioethics right now is the concept of conceiving a child using the sperm or egg of a dead person. For example, a man’s frozen sperm could be used after his death for in vitro fertilization or artificial insemination, or a woman’s frozen eggs could be used to create a child using IVF and the resultant embryo could be implanted into another woman’s womb. Not surprisingly, this approach is being met with a lot of ethical and legal questions.
(Tracey Watson) For some time now, mothers have been made aware of the dangers of Bisphenol A (BPA), a chemical used in many types of containers, including baby bottles. BPA is used to harden plastics, prevent contamination of foods, and stop cans from rusting. In recent years, several studies have confirmed that BPA affects endocrine function (hormonal balance) in animals and humans, and new moms have been warned to avoid baby bottles that contain this chemical and to take other steps like not boiling polycarbonate bottles or heating them in the microwave.
(Sterling Nicole Bennett) The walls were an ugly tan color. The room always smelt like old moldy cleaning supplies. We weren’t allowed to bring in any electronic devices. I liked to play Tetris on my moms flip phone, but I had to learn to entertain myself using only a bag of quarters and trash from my brothers’ candy bars. Everything felt dirty as if I could actually see the germs crawling across the tables. We were allowed one hug when he came in, and one hug when the visit was over. He wasn’t allowed to touch money or walk with me to the vending machine. It was agony.
(Jessica Dolores) Many scientific findings have become controversial because the findings are inconclusive or contradictory. The use of antibiotics is one. So is the effectiveness of substances that promise to make people look and feel young.
(Edsel Cook) If you want your children to have smarter brains, sharper memories, and longer attention spans, raise them in a home with lots of greenery and plenty of physical activity. That’s because two Spanish studies discovered that nature and exercise exert strong influences upon brain development and mental health, reported a Waking Times article.
