(Anthony J. DeBlasi) I was a teenager during World War II, a soldier in the Korean War, a witness to America’s mid-century social storms, and a participant in the culture war that erupted thereafter and has heated to a flash-point in the current century. It might be said that “I’ve been there and done it all” except that no mortal ever has. I will say, however, that dodging bullets of both the physical and spiritual variety has cleared away much mental rubbish from my mind and amplified my humility and gratitude toward the Creator for the life I have been granted.

COVID and the Governors
(Renee Parsons) There is growing speculation that with two dozen Democrat party members of the House having already announced their retirement, an undeniable opportunity exists for Republicans to seize control of both houses of Congress during the 2022 midterm elections. It can be assumed that those Democrat party incumbents, after having defended an illegitimate President and his morally bankrupt policies, fear they will bear the blame for their party’s support of deplorable COVID lockdowns and their effort to destroy the American republic.
Tyranny in the Name of Climate Change
(Anthony Watts) A recent paper published by Cambridge University Press titled “Political Legitimacy, Authoritarianism, and Climate Change” is raising serious and worrisome questions about the role of academia in our national political debate on climate change.
There Was No Insurrection But There Was A Coup
(Vince Coyner) The debate is over. After a year spent investigating claims of election fraud, the media has determined that any fraud in the 2020 election was too insignificant to have changed the outcome and Joe Biden legitimately won. Now we can get back to our normal lives, or whatever passes for normal now…except that’s fiction.
My Religious Objection to the Cult of COVID
(Judah Rose) I have sincere, deep-rooted religious, moral, and ethical objections to the notion of being compelled to take any of the experimental drugs known as “COVID-19 vaccines” (I put that in quotes because the definition of “vaccine” had to be changed last year for them to qualify as such.) I would point out, at the outset, that it is widely recognized that religion includes not just observance and practice, but also belief. Beliefs that are sincerely held about what is right or wrong are intrinsic to the individual, not to any organized religion, mainstream or otherwise. To hold religious beliefs does not even require belief in God. That said, there is nothing to my views that is outside of a mainstream understanding of religion, morality, or ethics.
Krazy Kamala’s History Lesson
(Civis Americanus) Krazy Kamala Harris would be funnier than most stand-up comedians until one remembers that she is a heartbeat away from the Presidency of the United States and the control of thousands of nuclear weapons. This should give significant pause to anybody who wishes for Joe Biden to resign or be impeached.
Fear is the Mind Killer
(Rick McDowell) Frank Herbert wrote in Dune, “Fear is the mind killer. Fear is the little death…” Indeed, fear is the more dangerous virus infecting us.
Shaming as a COVID Strategy
(Tim O’Brien) When it comes to social engineering, there is more than one kind of war. We’ve been witness to the war on drugs, the war on crime, the war on obesity, and most recently, the war on COVID-19.
Jan. 6 Is the USA’s Own Tiananmen Square
(J.B. Shurk) Two symbolic events in the struggle for human freedom over oppressive government transpired last month with barely any notice from the American media. The first was the thirty-year anniversary of the collapse of the Soviet Union. The second was the Chinese Communist Party’s removal of monuments commemorating the 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre that occupied sacred ground on Hong Kong university campuses, including a replica of the famed “Goddess of Democracy” statue that was erected in the square just before Chinese military forces killed, kidnapped, or crippled thousands of students and workers pleading for individual liberty.
The Woke Mob’s Destruction of the English Language
(Richard McDonough) Rep. Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts, a member of the progressive “squad,” recently accused those who disagree with student debt cancellation of “policy violence.” That is, to disagree with the left now is “violence.” This kind of linguistic legislation by the left is now common. Words mean whatever they want them to mean in order to achieve their far-left goals.
Vax Passports: The Panzer Tank of the COVID-19 Blitzkrieg
(Todd Butterfield) The COVID-19 digital vax pass is the Panzer tank of the next wave of the global public health Blitzkrieg. If a person complies and gets their COVID-19 shots, they get a personal QR code. They can show this code on their smart phone to participate in society. This plan is being rolled out around the world and has spread from Israel to Europe to Australia, and now has been established in the most strategic U.S. cities including Washington D.C., New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Some people with a whole lot of power are now seizing a whole lot more power in the name of public health.
Can the New York Times Beat Project Veritas in Court?
(Matthew G. Andersson) An old saying in law is that you should never be your own client. The Editorial Board of the New York Times shows why, recently declaring in its pages (“A Dangerous Court Order against the New York Times,” Editorial Board, 24 December) that a State of New York court ruled improperly against the paper. But the Times is more than wrong; it is misleading public readers about what the law says.
Do Democrats Want to Build Back Better, or Do They Want a Coup?
(E. Jeffrey Ludwig) In a recent article, the brilliant commentator Victor David Hanson asks, “What is behind recent pessimistic appraisals of democracy’s future from Hillary Clinton, Adam Schiff, Brian Williams, and other elite intellectuals and media personalities?” His answer to this question is “that the left expects to lose power over the next two years[.]”
Dr. Peter McCullough Conducts Grand Rounds on COVID 19
(John Dale Dunn, M.D.) See and hear a brilliant man expound on a subject that he has devoted himself to for an intense, almost two years — like a half a million other interested persons, take a look at the Rumble video of Joe Rogan’s interview of Peter McCullough MD of Dallas Texas—put up on December 15, 2021 here. Dr. McCullough described it as a” grand rounds” during the give and take of the interview, and it certainly was to me, a physician who has been at many grand rounds events in my 50 year career. Grand Rounds is the Medical School or Hospital event where members of the Medical Department display their erudition and eloquence on matters of import—in the case of this interview Mr. Rogan was the Inquirer and Dr. McCullough the eager and well-prepared respondent. Their performance was extraordinary on both sides—good penetrating pertinent questions by Rogan and satisfying answers from McCullough, backed by his command of the medical concepts and the research pertaining to the subject—COVID 19.
Entering The American Twilight Zone
(Patricia Henry) We didn’t know it then, but on Election Night, November 8, 2020, America entered a Twilight Zone every bit as eerie and unanticipated as anything dreamed up by Rod Serling decades earlier. It began with time standing still in the middle of the Election Night vote count, followed by a flood of outlandish vote totals being relayed to us, especially from Democrat strongholds in 7 swing states. Then there was the alacrity with which network analysts declared Biden the winner, especially, the Fox News early projection of a Biden win in Arizona.
