Julian Assange Refuses Extradition To The United States

() WikiLeaks co-founder Julian Assange has stated that he does not consent to being extradited to the US based on charges related to leaking government secrets received from Chelsea Manning and others.

Assange was sentenced to 50 weeks in jail on earlier this week for breaching The Bail Act, it was just a few days later that his extradition hearing began. It is expected that this extradition process will go for many months in court.

The 47-year-old Julian Assange told the Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday:

“I do not wish to surrender myself for extradition for doing journalism that has won many awards and protected many people.”

Beyond that, nothing overly big to report from this first hearing, the case was adjourned until 30 May 2019.

Shouldn’t Be Surprising

Would you have expected any different from Assange? Here is a guy who has done nothing wrong. He has received information and shared it with the public as a journalist. WikiLeaks has won many awards for the work they have done and they have never had to retract a single story over the course of their existence.

Why would he accept anything less than his freedom? I reserved a great deal of commentary about Assange’s 50 week sentence and the current belief some have that this too is part of Q’s plan.  A statement there appears to be no evidence for, and seems to serve to undermine the reality of what is taking place here.

Further to that Q discussion I touch on a few other important reflective points when it comes to how we are dealing with this in our current state of consciousness.

The Takeaway

Providing you watched the video above, for those that believe Julian should be put in jail for releasing government secrets, what part of you is so patriotic to government that you would want harmful actions done by government to be covered up? It’s not as if what he released or revealed spying methods or cases the government were building against terrorists or anything, they were secrets that showed the killing of innocent civilians and then covering it up.

Why should government be allowed to murder, yet the average citizen is not? What world are we supporting with our blind support of law enforcement in these cases?
