This Is Our Destiny, If We’re Brave Enough to Become the Hero: Coronavirus Is Proving The Human Race Can Come Together, For Anything, At Anytime

(Justin Deschamps) During times of great chaos and uncertainty, fear of the unknown can cause us to slip into a paranoid, irrational, and socially toxic version of ourselves. During the pandemic, some have hoarded medical supplies, coughed on people in an attempt to spread the disease, and even taken advantage of others through theft and fraud. But not everyone is walking the path of the villain. Some are doing the reverse. Some have risen to become the hero and raise the bar for what it means to be human for the global culture. And I contend, this is the very thing that will propel us to the prophesied golden age. During times of great chaos and uncertainty, fear of the unknown can cause us to slip into a paranoid, irrational, and socially toxic version of ourselves.
