Spread the love

The raw Gaia Portal update is first, followed by my extrapolated meanings in black. For other interpretations of these reports see Rosalie Parker and Kauilapele.

Source – Gaia Portal

External evidences are no longer necessary for those who question.

Foresights are accepted, yet claims are delayed.

Promissory stances clear from those of lower mindsets.

Handicaps are removed.

Peace tomes are read.

And now the analysis:

I do not have an insider or direct source for the meanings below. This is my interpretation of the update, based on extrapolation and contextual usage of the terms. The meanings provided are not the only ones that can be gleaned; in my view, all meanings have value, especially when shared and discussed openly. Please comment below if interested, I’d love to hear other’s thoughts on this material.

Interpretations: “External evidences are no longer necessary for those who question.” –
Here is a rather interesting statement that seems to imply one needs not seek for confirmation or validation for questions they have. The phrase external evidences are no longer necessary implies a process by which an individual will look outside of themselves to confirm an inner supposition, theory, or knowing. For example, if you wake up in the morning and you receive an intuitive message that says “it is raining outside” you might look out the window for confirmation—an example of external evidence. Generally speaking, confirmation of one’s beliefs, suspicions, contentions, conclusions, biases and so on is a very good idea. After all, in manifesting our desires, we need accurate information. Cooking a meal with the wrong ingredients won’t produce the effect you want. But is this what this statement is actually saying? Is it suggest that confirmation of truth is no longer necessary using external means? I think there is more nuance here.

Consider that the act of questioning itself is a receptive modality. That is to say when one questions something they have invoked a consciousness of inquisitiveness, of seeking to understand. The degree of understanding might be low, like simply needing to confirm what time it is, or high, like trying to understand thermodynamics when there is no pre-existing knowledge. Now the mystery is, how do we arrive at the answer to our questions?
We normally think of learning as an external process, but not always, Schools and educational institutions are founded on the belief that a student is an empty vessel—that you can simply pour knowledge into a person’s mind like pouring water into an empty cup. But this is a reductionist stance because not all minds are created equal. Moreover, knowledge transmission (teaching) is not simply the act of copying data from one place to another—the mind is like a hard drive in that it can store information but it is not in that the contextual embedding of that information is unique. By this I mean, knowledge is fundamentally unique to the individual. Everyone can be taught how to count to ten but the inner fabric of consciousness that produces that state of knowing is different. Ask five people to imagine a sunset and almost everyone will render the key elements, like a solar disk, landscape, perhaps cloud cover, and so on. But each person’s mental image is almost entirely unique—tailor made by the individual, derived from their unique personal experience.
What this means is that knowledge—the abstract representational system we use to understand the relationships between things—is also unique, and most importantly, personally generated. Everyone, always, without fail, is the author of their experience and subsequent knowledge. A teacher, only ever, gives food for thought—the individual has to visualize, contemplate, pull apart, and question the ideas to form meaning and understanding. In this sense, questioning is the state of being we invoke to learn something, it is a feminine modality of receptiveness, an opening of the mind and heart to new ways of seeing and understanding the world.
But modern society doesn’t view learning as a personal act of creation. As was stated above, we tend to view learning as an external imposition, that something outside of us reached into our minds to manipulate our consciousness to add new something that wasn’t already there. And to a certain extent that is true, because experience is itself the act of making contact with novelty newness. But as was said, the generation of knowledge is a personal act of creation—others can help us but we have to do the inner work of understanding.
This statement could be suggesting that those who question are beginning to realize they are actually the ones who generate knowledge. This simple shift in consciousness has powerful effects because it places the burden of understanding on the individual, instead of only on the instructor or teacher. If one thinks that they have no power to learn, save through a teacher, they won’t bother trying—a disempowered state that leads to dependency on others (slavery consciousness). But if people are beginning to realize the greater truth—that all learning flows through a state of inquisitiveness, of questioning—then all experience will be recognized as an opportunity for learning. And with learning comes personal growth and change—evolution.

“Foresights are accepted, yet claims are delayed.” – The prefix fore refers to things that come before; a forewarning is a prophetic statement of what is to come. A foresight would be a vision of the future. The phrase foresights are accepted can be interpreted to mean that visions of the future are accepted, acknowledged as potentially being of value. This statement implies that this was not the case in the past, suggesting that people were receiving foresights but were dismissing them. Consider that most people assume the seemingly random thoughts they have on a daily basis are meaningless. But if one considers that these thoughts have meaning, then they will begin to seek for that meaning, which might lead to a moment wherein precognition is recognized. For example, you might think of a friend moments before they call you on the phone—acknowledging this thought as a precognition would be an example of accepting foresights. The second phrase in this statement is a bit more enigmatic.
The acceptance of a foresight is the belief that a thought or insight is prophetic. If someone said, “I had a vision that the stock market was going to crash tomorrow” it would be received as a claim by an outsider. To the person accepting the foresight it is a guarantee that the vision will happen but others lack evidence. Therefore, the statement yet claims are delayed can be interpreted to mean that the foresight has yet to be realized. Using the stock market example, the stock market crash prediction has yet to come to pass, it is in potential, and as such, the claim remains unverified. We won’t know if the stock market actually crashed until tomorrow comes—a delay.

“Promissory stances clear from those of lower mindsets.” – A promise is a statement or declaration that an individual will do something or that something will happen. Promises, in the past, were more akin to consent—specific only to the individual and what they can do—but have now also become claims of fact related to reality. For example, someone can promise that an event will happen that they have no actual control over, like a parent promising a child that they will enjoy some activity—the parent can’t make that statement in truth because they can’t control the child’s subjective experience. In this sense, the notion of a promise the idea of pledging oneself to something has fallen out of balance and become deluted—people are making all sorts of promises they can’t really live up to or aren’t capable of controlling. But why would this be the case?
In analyzing the use of promises in the contemporary world, it seems that they have become a form of assurance, a way to engender compliance in another. For example, if a husband was caught cheating on his wife, the wife might think she can’t trust her spouse any longer. To which, the husband might say, “I promise to be faithful.”—a gesture that attempts to restore trust in the relationship. In this sense, promises are a metaphysical tool for engendering cooperation, but if a promise can’t be lived up to, the trust established will be transient. In other words, when we make promises that we can’t keep, we end up destroying trust instead of enhancing it. Thus, developing the capacity to only make realistic promises, to only agree to do things we have carefully thought about, is a more socially harmonious stance.
Social trust is very important in almost every facet of society and existence itself. When people act dishonestly by making promises they can’t keep, social trust is reduced, leading to a reduction in productivity due to hindered cooperation. And since almost everything we enjoy as social creatures is a product of cooperation, the destruction of social trust has a marked negative effect on the individual and society. For example, money is actually a tool for solving the problem of destroyed social trust in a group of individuals. In a healthy family unity, social trust or political capital is what forms the basis for cooperation—a mother raises her child because she sees the intrinsic value of doing so, independent of external motivations like money. But when trust in the family has been destroyed, members tend not to work with each other simply for the sake of doing so, they tend to need external motivation, like rewards or punishments.
When an individual’s connection to their fellows has been so utterly destroyed that they can’t cooperate intrinsically—simply for the sake of helping others—then such a person will be easily manipulated by temptations of all sorts—a lowered mindset of separation consciousness. It is this lowered mindset that is the primary cause of almost all the problems humanity faces at this time and in the deep past. Such individuals, feel abandoned, disconnected, and unloved by their fellows, leading them to make promises that are unrealistic in an effort to feel accepted. The need for fellowship and community is a primal requirement for social creatures. Hence the Cabal’s use of social programming techniques, to get people to believe that their fellow humans are the enemy, is a wonderful way to ensure people can be easily controlled by outside forces.

Taking all this into account, the statement can be interpreted to mean that the use of promises by the lower mindset masses are clearing. This could mean that separation consciousness is lessening, and if true, it would also suggest that the people are more receptive to loving service. Acting with kindness, compassion, tolerance, and grace—especialy with our “enemies”—will help them feel loved and connected, healing the rifts of division that have kept humanity enslaved for eons.

“Handicaps are removed.” – Given the preceding interpretation related to separation consciousness as the foundation of all social problems, this statement can be interpreted to mean that this block is being removed. A handicap is a circumstance that makes a situation more difficult, like missing a leg would make walking more challenging. In most cases, dealing with a handicap can impart wisdom and greater skill—evolutionary improvements in being. But if the individual is unable to rise above the challenges provided to them in experience, removal is required to move forward. Stagnation is a condition of lack of growth or movement. Separation consciousness is one handicap that is both laden with potential for growth but also a hindrance to further development.
An individual will gain much by way of experience (via karmic process) to know that separation consciousness is not desirable, but only when they can move past it to restore unity consciousnesss will the handicap be removed. This means that while some handicaps can be removed via outside forces when we deal with these challenges internally, it imparts soul growth. Thus, while we should not seek to handicap ourselves, we should also not avoid facing our handicaps. We should embrace our circumstances and strive to meet the challenges in our lives.
Comparing our circumstances to others may not be a productive activity. It might de-motivate us instead of inspiring us. Thus, while observing others can be helpful, we should not discount our own faculties because someone else had an easier time of it. Ultimately, all our handicaps are divinely allowed for our personal growth, even ones imposed by dark forces. The key seems to be to invoke a consciousness of empowerment, to tell ourselves, “No matter what happens in my life, I am always strong enough, capable enough, and loved enough to deal with it. And in dealing with it, I will have received a gift of evolution from the divine.”

“Peace tomes are read.” – A tome is a large and heavy scholarly book, usually one that is intimidating but also dense or replete with information. The statement peace tomes are suggestive of a repository of knowledge relating to peace. Given the preceding statements in this update related to developing an internal process of learning, precognitions, removal of blockages, and clearing of lower mind states, this statement can be interpreted as a culmination. When we’ve recognized that the source of all knowledge is in our hands, when we acknowledge the wisdom pouring through the mind as insight, and we set aside shallowness for love and altruism, we begin to read from the tomes of peace. This suggests that doing this inner work to gain wisdom is a method of training oneself to become a peaceful person. Given that war, suffering, and trauma are products of close-mindedness and separation consciousness, restoring unity consciousness is arguably the most important thing we can do as individuals to change the world for the better. Society is made of individuals, but those who seek to change the world instead of themselves will reach for war instead of peace as a solution. Peace comes from within, developed by becoming the master of our own house and captain of our own ship, finally able to recognize the wisdom of the love of truth.

PS – In December 2014, when Julian and I were discussing the idea of sharing these updates on the blog, he encouraged me to do more than just share the raw post. He said that we could offer our insights into what they could mean and in doing so create a venue for deep discussion and consciousness exploration. There were many times I wasn’t sure if others found any value in these interpretations, but Julian and others continued to urge me on in this venture. This is just one example of the countless ways he helped me in my life path, for which I am eternally grateful. I want to dedicate these interpretations to him and his memory. I will love you always Julian, and know that your zeal for creativity and loving service of others continues on.

– Justin
Note about interpretations: The above text is meant to be an exploration of meaning and an exercise in how the philosophic process works. Instead of looking for hard and fast meanings to label as “true,” the practice of contemplating meanings in general is one way to expand consciousness and make contact with the mysteries of the unknown. Reality is symbolic by nature, that is to say, meanings can be generated subjectively using any kind of objective stimuli, whether objects, words, or other ideas. The goal isn’t to arrive at black and white answers, the goal is to explore any and all meanings, regardless of how accurate they may be, with the purpose of expanding consciousness and unearthing hidden aspects of ourselves in the process. In this sense, whether or not something is true or accurate isn’t as important as how it affects us and what we choose to do with it. Consider that misinterpretation or so-called “wrong meanings,” despite the fact they may not be coherently accurate, are still real for the person experiencing them. An illusion of a man disappearing, for the person believing it, is just as real as an actual man disappearing. Thus, let the fun and excitement of exploration take hold when exploring meanings in life, whether here in Gaia Portal, or out in the wilderness of life’s myriad adventures.

What is our mission? Why do we post what we do?

Our mission here is to curate (share) articles and information that we feel is important for the evolution of consciousness. Most of that information is written or produced by other people and organizations, which means it does not represent our views or opinions as managing staff of Stillness in the Storm. Some of the content is written by one of our writers and is clearly marked accordingly. Just because we share a CNN story that speaks badly about the President doesn’t mean we’re promoting anti-POTUS views. We’re reporting on the fact as it was reported, and that this event is important for us to know so we can better contend with the challenges of gaining freedom and prosperity. Similarly, just because we share a pro/anti-[insert issue or topic] content, such as a pro-second amendment piece or an anti-military video doesn’t mean we endorse what is said. Again, information is shared on this site for the purpose of evolving consciousness. In our opinion, consciousness evolves through the process of accumulating knowledge of the truth and contemplating that knowledge to distill wisdom and improve life by discovering and incorporating holistic values. Thus, sharing information from many different sources, with many different perspectives is the best way to maximize evolution. What’s more, the mastery of mind and discernment doesn’t occur in a vacuum, it is much like the immune system, it needs regular exposure to new things to stay healthy and strong. If you have any questions as to our mission or methods please reach out to us at [email protected].
