Compare the Memorial day message sent by Trump to the one sent by Harris and notice how the 45^th President of the United States celebrate the troops who died fighting for our nation versus Harris who thinks it is simply a long weekend.

“On this Memorial Day, we remember the fallen heroes who took their last breaths in defense of our Nation, our families, our citizens, and our sacred freedoms. The depth of their devotion, the steel of their resolve, and the purity of their patriotism has no equal in human history. On distant battlefields, in far-off oceans, and high in the skies above, they faced down our enemies and gave their lives so that America would prevail. They made the supreme sacrifice so that our people can live in safety and our Nation can thrive in peace. It is because of their gallantry that we can together, as one people, continue our pursuit of America’s glorious destiny,” Trump said.

“We owe all that we are, and everything we ever hope to be, to these unrivaled heroes. Their memory and their legacy is immortal. Our loyalty to them and to their families is eternal and everlasting.

“America’s warriors are the single greatest force for justice, peace, liberty, and security among all the nations ever to exist on earth. God bless our fallen Soldiers, Sailors, Coast Guardsmen, Airmen, and Marines. We honor them today, forever, and always,” he said.

A beautiful message from Trump that is focused on what the holiday is for. Not the same as the message that was sent by Harris, for which she was shredded on Twitter.

Kamala Harris sent a simple tweet to start Memorial Day weekend, but that one tweet set off a firestorm of controversy.

“Enjoy the long weekend,” she said in the tweet along with a photo of herself smiling.

Keep in mind that Memorial Day is celebrated on the last Monday of May to honor those who have fallen in the service of our nation, and Harris was quickly reminded of that.

“It’s just a ‘long weekend’ for this fraud. I have several dead buddies that disagree,” Buzz Patterson said.

“We have a long weekend because of the brave men and women of our military who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. The Vice President of the United States doesn’t even mention that here but instead posted a picture of herself. It’s #MemorialWeekend honor our fallen,” another Twitter user said.

“We enjoyed having a president and VP who respected America’s heroes,” Jenna Ellis, who is Donald Trump’s former attorney said.

“I pulled this from my dad’s WWII memoir. He was a Marine. Maybe instead of a glamor shot of herself, she can tweet just one photo of soldier, sailor, airman or marine who died in combat? Maybe honor the fallen instead of herself? Maybe too much to ask,” cartoonist Jim Thompson said with a photo of a page from his dad’s memoir.

“I know you think the ‘long weekend’ is a chance to post a pic of yourself and get some mimosas as you plan to rip our country apart but it’s actually a time to appreciate the brave soldiers who died for our country & to reflect on the LIFETIME their families spend without them,” director and producer Robby Starbuck said.

“I suspect the lib staffers who run this account know what they’re doing. This strikes me as the lib version of Trump’s taco bowl tweet on Cinco de Mayo. That tweet trolled multiculturalists much like this tweet trolls patriots. Neither offends supporters,” Michael Knowles said.

“As if your daily disdain for the USA through your incompetence at our border, calls to abolish ICE, pushing CRT, & your entire career in politics wasn’t bad enough, you managed to lower the bar. Your long weekend is thanks to those who died fighting for the country you demean,” Florida Rep. Byron Donalds said.

“#MemorialDay It’s not just a long weekend for nothing – We’ll be spending the day at Arlington visiting some friends we wish were with us today – I don’t blame people for enjoying the long weekend but I hope we can all remember what it’s really about …,” Sara A. Carter said.

“Hundreds of thousands have died for us. You are a classless, most un American person there is,” another Twitter user said.
