As we teach our families to appreciate those freedoms, we also have the privilege of introducing our children to the rich Christian heritage that so profoundly influenced the development of this young nation. And he said that it would be best for me to stay in the bed this morning. And I insisted that I would have to come to preach. So he allowed me to come out with one stipulation, and that is that I would not come in the pulpit until time to preach, and that after, that I would immediately go back home and get in the bed. So I’m going to try to follow his instructions from that point on.
