Frank) The FDA is supposed to protect Americans from harmful products before they are made available to the public AND recall harmful products quickly when there is evidence that they are unsafe. They have a long history of failing to do so. Some examples include opioids, countless other medications, medical devices (see 1, 2, 3) and even hand sanitizers.
