Vogue Unveils Latest Fashion Trend: Chinese-Style Baby Shaming

(Ulysses S. Tennyson) As the “my body my choice” movement has run its course, the latest Vogue fashion trend has revealed itself:  Chinese-Style Baby Shaming

by Ulysses S. Tennyson, April 29th, 2021

Formerly trendy left-wing magazine Vogue has penned a piece that sounds remarkably similar to something a one-child CCP member might say as they try to control the number of babies (and their sexes) allowed to couples in their country.

The headline reads: “Is Having a Baby in 2021 Pure Climate Vandalism?”  It then begins by asking:

“Is having a child an act of environmental vandalism or an investment in the future? Is it possible to live an ecologically responsible life while adding yet another person to our overstretched planet? Can I get away with it if I just never learn to drive, never get a dog and keep wearing the same three pairs of jeans for the rest of my life?”

Does this bother you, yet America? What happened to ‘my body my choice?’  Why are you made to feel guilty about a completely safe, natural, biological imperative that sustains the human species and ensures future diversity and happiness?

Instead of promoting the act of wise procreation, Vogue has constructed an anti-baby cult around unscientific dogma of leftist ‘green’ anti-science.   Do you like feeling an irreparable sense of unending irrational guilt and hatred for your natural drive to procreate?  Then, by all means, read on and see what Vogue has to say:

“For the scientifically-engaged person, there are few questions more troubling when looking at the current climate emergency than that of having a baby.”

Do you see what they did there?  If you disagree with the unscientific unproven climate hysteria or if you want a baby, you are somehow not a ‘scientifically engaged person.’

But the paranoid self-loathing frenzy of anxiety-induced gaslighting and manipulations has only just begun, here.

According to Vogue, for smart people considering pregnancy “…the declining health of the planet cannot help but factor in your thinking. Before I got pregnant, I worried feverishly about the strain on the earth’s resources that another Western child would add. The food he ate, the nappies he wore, the electricity he would use; before he’d even started sitting up, my child would have already contributed far more to climate change than his counterpart in, say, Kerala or South Sudan…We have perhaps just another 60 harvests left before our overworked soil gives out and we are running out of fresh water. Could I really have a baby, knowing that by the time he was my father’s age, he may be living on a dry and barren earth?”

This is the inevitable end of a mind that has been saturated in Marxist critical theories.  These theories are infections that seek to convince their honest-believer hosts to criticize everything they do without any context or balance until everything has been disintegrated–including the love for one’s self and one’s own fundamental biological drive for offspring.  The minds of such people ooze with self-loathing, guilt, and an infinite supply of anxiety as their powerful instincts and rational abilities inwardly battle with the intellectual Critical Theory virus that is attacking them.

Much like a hypochondriac might wash his hands 327 times a day and spritz with antiseptic in between washes, hosts to the Critical Theory parasite constantly criticize their own existence and come up with new reasons why they (and you) should be washed off the face of the earth like bacteria off a hypochondriac’s hands.  What better way to do that than to convince you that perhaps mankind’s most fundamental biological imperative and purpose on this planet is a corrupt one?

The author goes on to try to rationalize his inhuman thoughts by trying to convince the reader that this anti-baby hypochondria is somehow the humane thing to do for children rather than a fevered itch that the twitchy mind of the Critical Theory host needs to scratch.  This is what psychologists would call projection.

“…You don’t have to look into the future or to other continents to see that the world as it is organised now is dangerous for children. According to the World Health Organisation, 93 per cent of all children live in environments with air pollution levels above the WHO guidelines.”

But, as with most human beings, the author chose to have a child because that is the biological imperative of man.  He reconciles this act of likely “selfishness” and “greed” by promising to treat his baby as a Marxist tool to be trained to indoctrinate the next generation of people into Anti-Western critical theories.

“…it is a question of how we raise those babies, of learning to live within our environmental means, of turning away from the fever of consumerism and overturning a political system that rewards a tiny rich minority at the expense of everyone else…I hope that my son might contribute to future humanity, rather than destroy it. No pressure, babe.”

Stillness in the Storm Editor: Why did we post this?

The news is important to all people because it is where we come to know new things about the world, which leads to the development of more life goals that lead to life wisdom. The news also serves as a social connection tool, as we tend to relate to those who know about and believe the things we do. With the power of an open truth-seeking mind in hand, the individual can grow wise and the collective can prosper.

What is our mission? Why do we post what we do?

Our mission here is to curate (share) articles and information that we feel is important for the evolution of consciousness. Most of that information is written or produced by other people and organizations, which means it does not represent our views or opinions as managing staff of Stillness in the Storm. Some of the content is written by one of our writers and is clearly marked accordingly. Just because we share a CNN story that speaks badly about the President doesn’t mean we’re promoting anti-POTUS views. We’re reporting on the fact as it was reported, and that this event is important for us to know so we can better contend with the challenges of gaining freedom and prosperity. Similarly, just because we share a pro/anti-[insert issue or topic] content, such as a pro-second amendment piece or an anti-military video doesn’t mean we endorse what is said. Again, information is shared on this site for the purpose of evolving consciousness. In our opinion, consciousness evolves through the process of accumulating knowledge of the truth and contemplating that knowledge to distill wisdom and improve life by discovering and incorporating holistic values. Thus, sharing information from many different sources, with many different perspectives is the best way to maximize evolution. What’s more, the mastery of mind and discernment doesn’t occur in a vacuum, it is much like the immune system, it needs regular exposure to new things to stay healthy and strong. If you have any questions as to our mission or methods please reach out to us at [email protected].
