Despite the odd circumstances behind Epstein’s alleged suicide, the story quickly disappeared from the news. Meanwhile, the many victims in the case appear to be losing their shot at seeing any justice. Luckily, the internet has not forgotten about the case, and it is not willing to let everyone else forget so soon either.
In the months since Epstein’s alleged suicide, a viral meme campaign has picked up steam, replacing the punchlines of memes with messages like “Epstein did not kill himself.”
Regardless of what type of filter bubble you may find yourself in, the Epstein memes were hard to ignore, especially throughout the month of October.
Then, around the end of October, Epstein’s name was back in the news again, after expert pathologist Michael Baden published a report suggesting that that evidence leads him to believe that a homicide was more likely than a suicide, as the injuries are more associated with strangulation by a large margin.
