Fantastic post here. Mainstream media would have us believe anyone claiming to be ‘sovereign’ is a terrorist. Look at Southern Poverty Law Center’s commentary:
The movement is rooted in racism and anti-Semitism, though most sovereigns, many of whom are African American, are unaware of their beliefs’ origins. In the early 1980s, the sovereign citizens movement mostly attracted white supremacists and anti-Semites, mainly because sovereign theories originated in groups that saw Jews as working behind the scenes to manipulate financial institutions and control the government. Most early sovereigns, and some of those who are still on the scene, believed that being white was a prerequisite to becoming a sovereign citizen. They argued that the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, which guaranteed citizenship to African Americans and everyone else born on U.S. soil, also made black Americans permanently subject to federal and state governments, unlike themselves.
Now if you read this article, by a retired Judge, you’ll quickly see, the Sovereign Citizen Movement is hardly the way it is described above. See this:
WHAT IS SOVEREIGNTY? It is the inherent right and prerogative of a civilized people to rule itself, and to dictate all of the forms and conditions of the institutions it sets up to carry out this rule. Ironically, the U.S. SUPREME COURT agrees with those people who claim to be SOVEREIGN citizens of the American Republic!
Bond vs. UNITED STATES, 529 US 334 – 2000, The Supreme Court held that the American People are in fact Sovereign and not the States or the Government. The court went on to define that local, state and federal law enforcement officers were committing unlawful actions against the Sovereign People by the enforcement of the laws and are personally liable for their actions.

Sovereignty is a state of BEing. With this kinda of topic, we must ensure we doing our due diligence, and not resting on assumptions and obvious propaganda like we see in organizations like Southern Poverty Law Center.

[Let’s call this the Government Trust]
[Let’s call this the Dictatorship Trust]
Self Determination or Dictatorship?
“Life, liberty and property do not exist because men have made laws. On the contrary. It was the fact that life, liberty and property existed beforehand that caused men to make laws in the first place”~ Frédéric Bastiat, liberal theorist, political economist and member of the French assembly (1801-1850)
“A privilege is a special entitlement to immunity granted by the state or another authority…. In modern democratic states, a privilege is conditional and granted only after birth. By contrast, a right is an inherent, irrevocable entitlement held by all citizens or all human beings from the moment of birth”~ Suzanna McNichol, The Law of Privilege (1st edition 1992)

Want a bet there are hundreds that fail fighting our governments than the ones that may succeed? I emphasize " may" because many apparent successes are only temporary within our governments deceitful intents. And pray tell how does one enjoy being sovereign while police confiscate your vehicle or home? These issues are far more difficult than is always stated by articles like these and only Martyr's may apply.
Justin Deschamps says
The point is a Sovereign does not justify sorcery so that they can achieve an 'end.' A sovereign understands that the means and the ends are intimately connected, and to act in honor with himself, and his fellow man, a sovereign will defend himself with force as needed.
Sovereignty doesn't mean sitting back and doing nothing. Quiet the reverse. that being said. the question isnt why should we bother if a tyrannical government seeks to beat us in to submission, the question is how are we ALL going to act in the face of this.
Inaction is acceptance. There is no gray area with this one. You are either acting as a sovereign, or your a slave working for your master (hard truth, but true none the less). Somethings are black and white, and when it comes to TRUE SOVEREIGNTY, there is a very clear line. The line is not arbitrary, it is not decided by a group of elites, or even angelic forces. It is a state of being. And no matter how many flags you try and raise up saying your 'sovereign' if you do not act as such, you are not.
