Understanding Magick: A Spiritual Art and Science

Saturday, June 20, 2020 By Mickey Megistus Leave a Comment

“The exercise of magical power is the exercise of natural powers, but superior to the ordinary functions of Nature. A miracle is not a violation of the laws of Nature, except for ignorant people. Magic is but a science, a profound knowledge of the Occult forces in Nature, and of the laws governing the visible or the invisible world. Spiritualism in the hands of an adept becomes Magic, for he is learned in the art of blending together the laws of the Universe, without breaking any of them and thereby [not] violating Nature.”

—H. P. Blavatsky

by Mickey Megistus,

Before my awakening process started in earnest back around 2006, I was very much a man of materialism. Although I was idealistic, with a love for philosophy, I was also atheistic, hedonistic, and if I couldn’t understand something in a physical sense, then I thought it was just superstition and fantasy.

I had been disillusioned by mainstream religion. Science had become my religion. I did not believe in the concept of “spirit.” Yet all that changed rather suddenly after I underwent a series of out-of-body experiences, lucid dreams, kundalini, and chakra activations that made me question my sanity.

I started searching for answers in quantum physics, but my curiosity invariably led me to the mystical realm of the esoteric/occult, much like Stephen Strange…

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01z_BcgFepw

Now with my own little backstory and journey aside, we can discuss the topic at hand. I suppose if I were to simplify the concept of magick by way of my own experience and comprehension, it could best be described as:

“The application of will—directed through a process of repetitive, ritualized or concentrated thought and emotion—to manifest a desired change, effect or result in reality.”

I suppose from this definition, you could say that most people are technically practicing some form of magick all the time while being completely unaware. It is a craft that has many facets, as there are a myriad of ways a person can execute such thoughts, emotions and desires in order to shape reality. This can happen at conscious, subconscious and even unconscious levels.

Granted, having significant knowledge of occult forces, natural laws or spiritual/metaphysical principles definitely assists and amplifies this process.  In truth, magick, when properly understood (as both an art and science), has always been a solid method to preserve one’s freedom and empowerment, harness the creative potential of imagination, and claim one’s right to live life as a divine being and master of one’s self.

Through my personal involvement and study of magick, I have learned to reconnect with source intelligence (or what I refer to as spirit) on an almost daily basis. I have enhanced my confidence, with better ability to steer my life to ends and goals of my own choosing.

I have been able break free from the shackles of corruption and tacit enslavement permeating much of contemporary society—even while still existing within said society. I have developed a fairly decent immunity to subliminal manipulations, including neuro-linguistic programming and surreptitious forms of hypnosis.

I have cultivated self-responsibility, healthy relationships and respectful boundaries with friends, family, my immediate environment, and the universe at large. All this can be done, but it takes dedication, discipline, the patience to do the necessary inner-work, and the courage to stand in your own sovereignty.

Side note: If you aren’t familiar with some of my previous work related to this subject, I recommend reading my articles on The Holy Septenate and The Harmonics of Spirit. They may help establish a foundation to build upon for this current article.

It’s important to mention that magick or “magic” has quite a number of variants, influenced through numerous cultures and religions around the world; everything from ancient Celtic, Norse, Greek, Egyptian, Arabic, Hindu, Tibetan and Taoist expressions to Enochian, Kabbalistic (Qabalistic), Wiccan, Golden Dawn, Theosophical and even Aleister Crowley’s Thelema.

A postmodern variant that seems to be very simplistic yet very eclectic is Chaos Magick, brought about largely by occultists like Austin Osman Spare and Peter J. Carroll. This is a type of “results-based” magick that is predominantly inclusive with most other forms of magick (rather than exclusive) so we will be discussing this variant a lot, along with references to the Law of One material and the Gateway Process conducted by the Monroe Institute (declas CIA/Army doc).

The Basics

Models relating to magick can be addressed in roughly four paradigms:

  • The spiritual model, which operates on the premise of ceremony and communicating intentions to an array of beings or entities from non-physical realms (spirit guides, astral helpers, elementals, angels, demons, devas, deities etc.) who then perform work on the magician’s behalf.
  • The energetic model, which operates on the premise of directing chi/qi, prana, orgone or life-force (either within themselves or the world without) towards specific aims or abilities of the magician.
  • The psychological model, which operates on the premise of using concepts, ideas, symbols, objects, archetypes or imagery to condition the subconscious or unconscious to work towards the magician’s goals.
  • The informational model, which operates on the premise that a magician receives and transmits information to an underlying matrix or unified field in order to produce specific changes, effects or results.

If you’ve read my article on the Harmonics of Spirit, then you will likely come to the conclusion (as I did) that spirit, energy, psychology (mind/consciousness) and information are all one and the same (or come from the same source), so naturally, an effective magickal working will typically incorporate all four of these models.

When it comes to achieving results or communicating intentions with high fidelity, it is necessary that the practitioner reach an enhanced level of being or expanded state of consciousness which is conducive for maximizing this achievement, even if temporarily. This is predicated on the fact that our reality is holographic and fractal in nature. The better you can align yourself (the microcosm) in concordance with the macrocosm, the better you can achieve said results or communication.

The methods of aligning oneself are diverse, and requires study—not just of the mechanics and phenomena of the outer world—but of your personal inner-world as well (this includes knowledge of the chakra and meridian system as well as the functionality of the left and right brain hemispheres). Much inner-work is needed if the magician would like to be proficient at their task. Honing a grounded sense of ethics and health (mental, emotional and physical) is essential—if not more essential—than the magickal working itself (at least it is for white magicians).

Rishis, arhats (arahants), and other mystics of the east might argue that inner-work and spiritual growth (through adherence to morals and disciplines) is all that matters, and purposely seeking out the development of siddhis or “magical powers” is ultimately inconsequential to the process.

To this, I most wholeheartedly agree, but I would also argue that not all changes, effects or results achieved by way of magick are externally oriented.  Inner-work and spiritual growth, particularly of an esoteric nature, could rightly be considered an internally oriented magickal endeavor.

“The principle behind any ritual of the white magical nature is to so configure the stimuli which reach down into the trunk of mind, that this arrangement causes the generation of disciplined and purified emotion or love which then may be both protection and the key to the gateway to intelligent infinity.”

—Ra, The Law of One

The Gateway and Hemi-Sync methodology of the Monroe Institute has a much more scientific approach, which can help expedite the process:

Magick and the Psyche

If we take the psychological model of magick and compare it to psychotherapy, we will find a number of common themes. Such themes include empowering the individual; discerning the relationship between the individual and the universe; and making that relationship as functional as possible (in regards to the individual’s personal goals).

Likewise, the general profession of psychology in the west bears a similarity to eastern religions in that each are concerned with the transformation of consciousness in order to reach catharsis, liberation, enlightenment or other healthy states of being.

With Jungian psychology in mind, we could also say that the psychological model of magick is useful for the magician to reintegrate the subconscious and unconscious aspects of one’s psyche and bring them into a conscious inter-functioning whole, which is not unlike the primary aim of psychotherapy.

This is not to say that magick, on its own, is a direct substitute for psychotherapy. Far from it. The central difference is that the magician will work with components of the psychological model (or even the spiritual model) as aspects within the individual’s psyche that are also reflected, projected or externalized as beings/entities in the outer world through the collective psyche.

This collective or “universal” psyche (known by Jung as the collective unconscious) can be interpreted as the domain for non-physical realms (such as etheric, astral, emotional, mental and causal planes).

“But the very fact that this process is unconscious gives us the reason why man has thought of everything except the psyche in his attempts to explain myths. He simply didn’t know that the psyche contains all the images that have ever given rise to myths, and that our unconscious is an acting and suffering subject with an inner drama which primitive man rediscovers, by means of analogy, in the processes of nature both great and small.”

―Carl G. Jung

In demonology, for instance, the seventy-two spirits of the Goetia can be viewed as literal demons (daemons), or, as portions of mind. Both of which are ascribed as having unique personalities, skills and attributes.

As an example in the Lesser Key of Solomon (Ars Goetia), the spirit Cimieries teaches logic, and so, that portion of the mind which serves as the logical faculty will be stimulated and developed by following the processes called “The Invocation of Cimieries.”

However, it should be cautioned that practitioners who adhere to unhealthy magickal techniques can create pathological effects in the psyche, just as adherence to unhealthy beliefs promulgated by religion, culture and society can do the same.

To elaborate, apart from psychotherapy, which seeks to heal, there are magicians (just as there are people with unhealthy beliefs) who seek to harvest their repressions, obsessions and trauma (often found in the Jungian shadow aspect) for energy in order to fuel the imaginative creations of their psyche, thus resulting in numerous forms of pathology. For the magician, what determines if this becomes pathological or not is dependent upon their understanding of psychology and esoteric/occult philosophy.

Unfortunately, mainstream psychology is not the endeavor it once was during the time of Carl Jung, and modern psychiatry is subsumed by pharmaceuticals to “adjust” their patients to a pathological society (generating billions of dollars in the process) and has very little to do with mental health as it was originally intended. Tragically, most psychotherapy, as it stands today, is conducted at the expense of mental health. But we digress.

Book The 72 Sigils of Power: Magic, Insight, Wisdom and Change

Ceremonial Magick and Conditioning Sacred Space

When it comes to magickal workings, many magicians will practice some form of ceremonial magick. This involves the usage of particular objects or tools which assist the magician. The most standard include an altar, a wand or staff, a blade, challis, crystals, candles etc. These items will usually possess significance to the magician in a personal or general sense.

Certain objects correspond to elemental forces, similar in tarot. The wand or staff represents fire—like candles; the blade represents air; the challis represents water; crystals can represent earth—like pentacles, but different crystals can also represent different elements. The altar and items are often designated to a specific location—either a room or space—where the magickal working is conducted.

Practitioners who have a fairly decent grasp of metaphysics will usually condition their sacred space regularly so ceremonial rituals contain the greatest magickal potency. For conditioning, repetition is key. “Repetition builds resonance,” is a phrase I use often when describing how to condition sacred space.

Meaning, the more you repeatedly perform specific acts (like poses/mudras) or meditations accompanied with specific thoughts and emotions in a particular location, the more these configurations impress and embed those specific qualities in the surrounding space, building in amplitude and power. This same method can be used to imbue ceremonial objects with magickal qualities.

Like clearing the mind before a magickal act, clearing the space before a magickal ceremony follows hand-in-glove.  One of these clearing techniques is commonly known as the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram, or LBRP, made famous by groups like the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn.

In the Law of One, those of L/L Research would perform the LBRP to condition the space before starting contact with Ra, as discussed in Sessions 72 and 73:

Questioner: We will in the future have group meditations as our Sunday night meditations. I am concerned in… protection for the instrument [Carla] if she is once more a channel in these. Is there an optimum time or limiting amount of time for the banishing ritual [LBRP] to be effective, or if we continually, daily, purify the place of working that we use for the Sunday night meditation with the banishing ritual would this carry over for long periods of time, or must the ritual be done immediately prior to the meditations?

Ra: I am Ra. Your former assumption is more nearly correct.

Questioner: Has the banishing ritual that we have performed been helpful for this contact?

Ra: I am Ra. The ritual described has gained with each working in making efficacious the purity of contact needed not only for the Ra contact but for any working of the adept.

The power of the pentagram itself is quite renown in the world of magick. Mathematically speaking, the five-pointed star is replete with the phi ratio in its geometry. If you recall from my article, the Harmonics of Spirit, it is the phi ratio or golden mean spiral which is exceptional for bridging the gap between the physical realm of space-time and the metaphysical realm of time-space.

There are other laws or principles the magician can work in accordance with to increase magickal potency during a ceremonial ritual and elsewhere. Knowledge of the seven Hermetic principles (Kybalion) is highly recommended. Numerology is beneficial as well, especially working with the numbers three, six and nine, but also prime numbers like five and seven have significant metaphysical power and resonate with many divine concepts on the mental plane.

Being aware of astrological alignments—particularly moon phases—can also help. The time during full moons and new moons (usually three-day windows) are opportunities in which a “thinning of the veil” between the physical and metaphysical occurs, allowing greater magickal work to be done (and is extraordinarily great during solar or lunar eclipses).

It should be noted, however, that malevolent occult forces work through these windows as well. There are many other planets and constellations with other attributes or qualities that the magician can work with, but that is too large of a subject to discuss here.

Meditation, Life-Force and the Magickal Personality

The ability to cultivate a meditative transcendental state—particularly one of focus—is the basis for any magickal endeavor. This goes part and parcel with aligning the microcosm to the macrocosm. The act of achieving this transcendental state of focus can be understood as Samadhi in the Buddhist and Hindu traditions. This meaning one-pointedness or single-mindedness. Of course, there are a plethora of ways to bring this about.

We mentioned earlier that the Monroe Institute uses the Gateway and Hemi-Sync to reach the proper meditative state. But there are alternative routes, including hypnosis and biofeedback (I mostly use Hemi-Sync along with biofeedback):

Akin to transcendental meditation and biofeedback, Austin Osman Spare posits that belief itself is a source of psychic energy that can be utilized for magickal workings. He claims that this energy is locked up in rigid belief structures that must be broken down to be harvested. This “free belief” is then used as raw psychic energy directed towards the magician’s aims.

“Magic, the reduction of properties to simplicity, making them transmutable to utilize them afresh by direction, without capitalization, bearing fruit many times… When the mind is nonplused, capability to attempt the impossible becomes known.”

—Austin Osman Spare

Spare’s magickal approach is reductionist. He theorized that acts of magick were most likely to succeed when the mind had attained a state in which duality had been extinguished through a process in which dualistic notions were systematically eliminated by countering them against each other. He called this the “neither-neither” principle.

Students of yogic schools will recognize this as the Neti-Neti meditation—a meditation in which the seeker questions their identity by discounting or negating all that he or she is not. For example:

  • I am not my race,
  • I am not my gender,
  • I am not my body,
  • I am not my name,
  • I am not my personality…

This allows the practitioner to perceive a distinction between the apparent vehicles of identity (which are transitory) and the source of identity (which is eternal). This can lead one to a perception of the higher self or Atman in Hindu literature, or even Paramatman—the absolute or supreme self. For Buddhist literature, this would be the equivalent of Anatta or the non-self, realizing that there is no permanent self, only an ever-changing or transcendental sense of self.

Stephen Mace, a student of Austin Osman Spare, gives a simple method for applying Spare’s technique. Mace writes:

“To apply this principle to conjuring, wait until you are absolutely positive something is true, then search for its opposite. When you find it, oppose it to your “truth” and let them annihilate one another as well as they may. Any residue you should oppose to its opposite until your truth has been dismembered and the passion behind it converted into undirected energy, or free belief.”

Similarly to philosophical exercises in logic such as dialectics, we find a practice of arriving at the truth by the exchange of logical arguments. The process especially associated with Hegel of arriving at the truth by stating a thesis, developing a contradictory antithesis, and combining and resolving them into a coherent synthesis. The end result is often truth because that which endures this process to completion is likely irreducible and immutable.

This is reminiscent of the alchemical philosophy of solve et coagula, in which a substance or idea is dissolved or broken down into its most rudimentary components, and then these components are reassembled or coagulated into an improved or better understood substance or idea.

“The key is first, silence, and secondly, singleness of thought. Thusly a visualization which can be held steady to the inward eye for several of your minutes, as you measure time, will signal the adept’s increase in singleness of thought. This singleness of thought then can be used by the positive adept to work in group ritual visualizations for the raising of positive energy, by negative adepts for the increase in personal power…

When the positive adept touches intelligent infinity from within, this is the most powerful of connections, for it is the connection of the whole mind/body/spirit complex microcosm with the macrocosm.”

—Ra, The Law of One

The Monroe Institute’s Gateway Process describes this concept of “intelligent infinity” as the Absolute in the section entitled Quality of Consciousness (side note: the term “time-space” used in the Monroe context simply refers to the dimensions of time and space in physicality. It is not a reference to the metaphysical domain that is mentioned in the Law of One material and elsewhere):

Again, the Absolute or intelligent infinity is further elaborated upon by Ra as the Infinite Creator concept:

“Consider, if you will, that the universe is infinite. This has yet to be proven or disproven, but we can assure you that there is no end to your selves, your understanding, what you would call your journey of seeking, or your perceptions of the creation. That which is infinite cannot be many, for many-ness is a finite concept. To have infinity you must identify or define that infinity as unity; otherwise, the term does not have any referent or meaning. In an Infinite Creator there is only unity.”

An excerpt from “Mystic Test Book of the Hindu Occult Chambers” explains the three-fold process of attaining a magickal state of consciousness. As you can see, we are finding several sources touching on the exact same concepts with only minor differences in methodology:

“There are but three steps involved in the act of withdrawing from the sense-plane (material world) and entering into communication with the things of either the psychic world or the spiritual plane, and they are so simple that the humblest intellect can comprehend them. The first is to bring the activities of the personal ego into absolute stillness, by diverting or withdrawing the attention and thought from everything relating to things for the sense-life, and centering them upon the specific object chosen for interior contemplation. The second is to empty the mind also of everything relating to self-interest, and lay down all preimpressions, prejudgments and personal predilections, that the mind may be a perfect blank, on which the truth, undisturbed or unobstructed by the bias of prejudice or personal desire, may write its own story. The third is to firmly hold the mind in this unbiased receptive attitude upon the object in the full expectation of thus receiving the desired truth.

It should be remembered that on the inner psychic plane the soul activities of everything produce vibrations upon the psychic or ethereal atmosphere, which is so subtle and elastic that these vibrations extend indefinitely. When the mind is emptied and still, or passive, and opens itself to the psychic plane and the spirit world, and the attention is centered upon any given object or person, the soul vibrations of that particular object become focused upon the psychic organism, and awaken in the consciousness of the listener the very truth of that which made the vibrations. If the soul be in a perfectly receptive attitude, and you have attained, it can take on the condition and thus enter into such sympathetic unity with the dominant states of the person or thing upon which the attention is fixed that it will sense and know them as perfectly as if they were its own, so the real character and condition of persons and things becomes as tangible and real to the soul of the psychometrist as if they were his own.”

The Monroe Institute explains the magickal endeavor as a technique known as Patterning, which requires a Focus 12 state of concentration.

Other practices that are used to achieve certain states of mind congruent with magickal work include energy and breathing exercises such as those found in Qigong, Pranayama and even the Wim Hof method. These utilize the energetic model of magick, and relies on the magician’s comprehension of the seven basic chakras or energy centers, the three dan tiens (dantians), the twelve primary meridians and eight extraordinary meridians.

If the practitioner can become familiar with harnessing their life-force through breathwork and also begin to clear chakra and meridian blockages, the ability to keep oneself in an enhanced level of being or expanded state of consciousness for magickal endeavors will be greatly extended.

As we come to the process of invoking the “magickal personality,” we can view this as an act analogous to entering a state of Samadhi or Focus 12. In some other instances, the magickal personality can be invoked with a specific ritual or gesture. Ra gives their own interpretation of what the magickal personality is and how it functions:

“When the magical personality is properly and efficaciously invoked, the self has invoked its Higher Self. Thus a bridge betwixt space/time and time/space is made and the sixth-density magical personality experiences directly the third-density catalyst for the duration of the working. It is most central to deliberately take off the magical personality after the working in order that the Higher Self resume its appropriate configuration as analog to the space/time mind/body/spirit.”

Black Magick Methods of Enslavement

Up until this point, subject matter has been explored from the white magician’s perspective, based on a strong sense of morality and ethics inspired only by the highest motives of service and self-knowledge. You could argue from the grey magician’s perspective that the use of magick for materialistic or self-serving ends is appropriate in particular circumstances, to which I might agree, in the sense that you seek advantages or personal gains only so that you can better serve others and the world at large. Never to initiate hostility, aggression or harm (ahimsa).

However, both of these perspectives stand in stark contrast to that of the black magician, whose conduct is distinguishable by the fact that they use magick only serve themselves. They will initiate harm (either physically or metaphysically) in order to serve those ends. Keep in mind that black magicians have been serving their own ends on Earth for thousands of years.

Thus, it is extremely important to realize that even things as pervasive as culture and language have been weaponized by black magicians to enslave the bulk of humanity. Any person who has begun awakening need only look at advertising, news, entertainment, politics, education, law, medicine and finance to see that this weaponization has permeated every facet of our society. Organizations such as the CIA and Tavistock Institute are deeply involved with programs connected to black magick such as mind control.

With MK-Ultra techniques, the physical senses are usually bombarded with visual and auditory stimuli that helps induce varying degrees of hypnosis or psychosis while the hidden commands in language bypass the brain’s left hemisphere and enter through the right hemisphere unimpeded. The more technologically advanced versions of mind control incorporate bioelectric field modulation and brainwave entrainment. Excerpt from article:

“Bioelectric field modulation could well be the mode of one type of interaction of these directed energy weapons. This is what is studied most amongst the New Age group and the “psychics” of yesteryear as well as what comes out of the Eastern Block. We know that informational coherent neuron modulation will connect with any brain. Both magnetic and electric fields in the most basic form interact with neuron communication, but the reason we don’t go into convulsions from all the electromagnetic signals that our bodies absorb is that they are not significant in terms of the repetitive time series cognitive pathways (i.e. brain entrainments). There is a precise opportunity for amplification and thereby modulate and piggy back brain signals with another external signal. Your informational pattern and cognitive model is nothing like any signal you would absorb from radio stations or electrical appliances. One must exactly get the train of pulses correct in order to influence the outcome significantly and amplify the effects.”

Note: saturating the population with nano-particulate metals via chemtrails, vaccines, food and water contamination, etc. definitely assists in this process.

Subliminal imagery and symbolism combined with mind-altering frequencies have effectively lulled the masses into a trance-state where they are made vulnerable to mental and emotional programing as part of an agenda which serves these black magicians (this is intricately connected to the AI/transhumanism agenda I’ve discussed in prior articles).

One example of a famous black magician is Michael Aquino. He was a High Priest in Anton LaVey’s Church of Satan and founder of the Temple of Set. Not only was he a political scientist, but a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army and a specialist in psychological warfare during the Vietnam War. He also was involved with the CIA as well as human trafficking, ritual abuse and sacrifice, particularly of children, which is the hallmark of many black magicians.

To be concise, black magicians seek only to empower themselves by enslaving others (this also includes making contractual agreements with malevolent beings/entities of higher dimensions or non-physical realms). Their craft is comprised of hijacking humanity’s collective psyche via mind control, using its co-creative power of reality manifestation to steer the world towards a goal, objective or timeline of their own design.

It’s very much like the Gateway Process of Patterning, but on a grander scale. Just as Ra described group ritual visualizations for positive adepts, the negative adepts (black magicians) can do the same, often deceiving humanity into doing a lot of the visualizing for them through shows, movies, music, news, etc. This is why certain narratives or themes are so persistent in mainstream culture. Their repetitive nature will cause those vulnerable to accept it as truth (psychic driving).

This agenda utilizes other methods I discussed previously in regards to ceremonial magick. But instead of conditioning sacred space, they condition profane space. Instead of working in accordance with pre-existing laws and principles, they exploit them. Same exploitation is done with numerology and astrological influences.

They also occupy and corrupt the Earth’s ley line network.

Black magicians have meticulously built their residences atop major ley line intersect points so they can further subvert the planet by superimposing their own artificial matrix system over the Earth’s original natural system. Essentially splicing an artificial reality into our world where people are hypnotized and imprisoned.

This could also be viewed as a portion of the Demiurge which has become corrupted. See Tom Montalk’s article: Corruption of the Demiurge

Fear is what keeps many locked in this artificial matrix. By manipulating the subconscious and stimulating the survival aspect of the root chakra (or amygdala of the brain), the masses are dominated by their sympathetic nervous system, ruled by “fight or flight” reactivity and chronic stress in their everyday affairs, which makes them incapable of proactive critical thinking and resisting the ubiquitous conforming forces of social engineering.

“We reproduce catastrophe because we ourselves are traumatized–both as a species and individually, beginning at birth. Because we are wounded, we have put up psychic defenses against reality and have become so cut off from direct participation in the multidimensional wilderness, in which we are embedded, that all we can do is to navigate our way cautiously through a humanly designed day-to-day substitute world of symbols—a world of dollars, minutes, numbers, images and words that are constantly being manipulated to wring the most possible profit from every conceivable circumstance. The body and spirit both rebel.”

—David Watson, The Pathology of Civilization

Not only does fear keep the masses imprisoned, but keeps them as a food source as well. Fear makes it easier for black magicians to siphon life-force from their victims so they can sustain and empower themselves (Robert Monroe has referenced this siphoned energy as loosh). The molecular/chemical or physical analog for loosh would be something akin to adrenochrome.

Black magicians are almost always of a predatory, parasitic or vampiric nature, as they are purveyors of extreme psychopathy. The extremely powerful ones attempting to enslave this planet seldom exist in a physical form (though they may act through various humans, like members of the ruling elite).

In fact, many bloodline members of the ruling elite are victims of trauma-based mind control themselves, beginning in utero with the various auditory stimuli (like recorded chants or music). The child is usually born prematurely through induced labor (which is a form of trauma).

This trauma helps to fracture the psyche so that alternate and programmable personalities (alters/altars) can be formed. The process is continued through childhood via ritual abuse of a violent and sexually perverse nature that I will not discuss here. This is a sad truth that many of the awakening community knows very little about, but there are victims on both sides.

It is this fracturing of the psyche through trauma that can even allow individuals to become vessels for malevolent beings/entities of higher dimensions or non-physical realms. Most notably are those possessed by the 4th density Draco Reptilians/Orion Crusaders.

As a viable solution, the more inner-work you do, the more consciously aware you become. Clearing blockages in major meridians (gall bladder and triple heater for example) and clearing lower chakra blockages (root, sacral, solar plexus) helps develop the etheric body and activation of higher chakras, bringing clarity of mind and body. This can reinforce your auric field for protection and rid oneself of etheric implants and entity attachments (but it requires constant inner-work and discipline).

“The most normal for the adept is the following: the indigo [third-eye] stimulation activating that great gateway into healing, magical work, prayerful attention, and the radiance of being; and the stimulation of the violet ray [crown] which is the spiritual giving and taking from and to Creator, from Creator to Creator. This is a desirable configuration.”

—Ra

Black magick affects most strongly those who are reigned by the Jungian shadow aspect of their psyche, and mostly operate from a state of awareness that has very little conscious development (or that development has been repressed by trauma). All the more reason to engage in sincere self-care, heal from trauma, and make yourself consciously aware of the shadow aspects within (individually and collectively).

“One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious.”

—Carl G. Jung

The subconscious portion of one’s psyche is where the shadow aspect resides. This portion runs most of the tasks in a person’s life such as habits, vices, behavior, impulses and triggers (the subconscious also functions as the gateway to the unconscious realm of the collective psyche). The subconscious can be programmed either willingly by the individual who has taken responsibility for their development, or, it can be programmed by someone or something else that will exploit an individual who has not taken that responsibility.

Book The Golden Dawn: The Original Account of the Teachings, Rites, and Ceremonies of the Hermetic Order

Interestingly, Ra describes how both benevolent (positive) and malevolent (negative) beings/entities can influence via “psychic greeting” through the violet center (crown chakra):

“The development of the psychic greeting is possible only through the energy centers starting from a station which you might call within the violet ray [crown] moving through the adept’s energy center and therefrom towards the target of opportunity. Depending upon the vibratory nature and purpose of greeting, be it positive or negative, the entity will be energized or blocked in the desired way.

We of Ra approach this instrument in narrow-band contact through violet ray. Others might pierce down through this ray to any energy center. We, for instance, make great use of this instrument’s blue-ray [throat] energy center as we are attempting to communicate our distortion/understandings of the Law of One.

The entity of Orion pierces the same violet ray and moves to two places to attempt most of its non-physical opportunities. It activates the green-ray [heart] energy center while further blocking indigo-ray [third-eye] energy center. This combination causes confusion in the instrument and subsequent over-activity in unwise proportions in physical complex workings. It simply seeks out the distortions pre-incarnatively programmed and developed in incarnative state.”

[In other words, the negative entity from Orion (5th density black magician) is influencing the adept/instrument—Carla—to indulge in her penchant of overexerting her energies while helping others, hoping that it will cause her harm or possibly kill her so as to terminate the Ra contact.]

The energies of life itself, being the One Infinite Creator, flow from the south pole [the feet/root chakra] of the body seen in its magnetic form. Thus only the Creator may, through the feet, enter the energy shell of the body to any effect. The effects of the adept are those from the upper direction and thus the building of the wall of light [auric shielding from malevolent influences] is quite propitious.”

It cannot be overstated that there is an inherent folly of these black magicians who go to such great lengths to manifest a reality or timeline of their design while also discounting the resistance that comes from most of humanity—which at a collectively unconscious level—does not truly wish to be enslaved. Free will is an integral component to all of this, and black magicians seem to constantly underestimate its power (because they don’t respect it).

Remember that Monroe trainers warn the method of Patterning may have delay issues depending on how complicated the objective or how radically it departs from the current reality, but more importantly, forcing to accelerate this process could dislocate one’s reality with drastic consequences.

Now, this is just a theory, but it might be that the artificial matrix created by these black magicians—and those willfully enslaved within it—are trying to hastily force an outcome that will eventually dislocate from the universal hologram or collective psyche, which could result in a reality split or bifurcation of timelines as we move forward.

It makes good sense as I think back on Bill Wood’s testimony in one of my earlier articles, when he was asked why the elite were still hedging their bets to prepare for a future that went against everything the computer data was telling them, Wood’s answer was simple:

“Because they are insane. And beyond being insane, they have literally deluded themselves into believing that they can somehow manage to get away with what they are trying to get away with. There is a distinct lack of reality in that way of thinking.”

Perhaps that lack of reality has to do with purposely focusing on an alternate reality. They have to assert that their deluded goal is already a matter of established achievement set in time, no matter how radically departed it is from the current reality. Perhaps in this current reality, a critical mass of humanity has already collectively chosen liberty rather than slavery, or perhaps not. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was still a great deal of humanity that has yet to make their choice. Time will tell. It’s just a theory.

Word Magick

To be clear, not all forms of “language or word magick” are inherently evil. This concept can function in both negative and positive capacities. In essence, it’s an amalgamation of hypnosis and biofeedback, yet it also taps into greater occult forces. Most languages today use lettered alphabets rather than images, and so, they are processed primarily through the left hemisphere of the brain because it’s the verbal and linear reasoning component of the mind.

Depending on how words are “spelled” (which gets into etymology), your mind can interpret one meaning at a conscious level, but simultaneously interpret a different meaning at a subconscious or unconscious level. In law, for instance, many legally-binding traps of agreement are imposed by way of corrupted legalese to deliberately misrepresent the true definitions of words. As a result, the masses end up acquiescing or giving their tacit consent to “legal” slavery.

Our basic languages today have a prominent effect on not just our psyche, but down to the genetic level. This has a lot to do with the fact that Arabic, Greek, Latin and Hebrew languages can all trace their origins and similarities back to an ancient Phoenician dialect which contained grammar, syntax and semantics that mirrored how our DNA is written and encoded.

Our DNA Can Be Reprogrammed By Words And Certain Frequencies

Might be that humanity’s inspiration to create certain ancient languages was based on some form of subconscious or unconscious communication with our DNA. There are other explanations, including assistance from ET’s which could have also played a role in our genetic engineering. Ra offers some insights in Sessions 74 and 75:

“In the case of Hebrew that entity known as Yahweh aided this knowledge through impression upon the material of genetic coding which became language, as you call it. [The entity Yahweh is discussed further in my article Law of One vs History and Religion.]

In the case of Sanskrit the sound vibrations are pure due to the lack of previous what you call alphabet or letter-naming. Thus the sound vibration complexes seemed to fall into place as from the Logos. This was a more, shall we say, natural or unaided situation or process

…the linkage is mathematical or that of the ratio. You may consider it musical. There are those whose mind complex activities would attempt to resolve this mathematical ratio but at present the coloration of the intoned vowel is part of the vibration which cannot be accurately measured. However, it is equivalent to types of rotation of your primary material particles.”

So according to Ra, we can see that Sanskrit was also a very powerful language, despite its discovery being of a more unaided natural occurrence. From Ra’s inference, we can deduce that Sanskrit even had the power to resonate with things at the atomic level, meaning it tapped into the torsion physics of our fractal holographic reality. Dan Winter explores the same concept.

Contractual Law and Codes of Conduct

It’s important to understand that the Hermetic axiom, “as above, so below; as within, so without,” applies to laws and their causal agencies in a contractual sense, both physically and metaphysically. Natural law, cosmic law, divine law and contractual law are all one and the same.

It is through your free will decisions—the choices you make in any given circumstance—which determines what you ultimately “accept” as a consequence. Causality is karma. You can view this “consequence of choice” as a contract of sorts. Meaning, free will is not chance, but choice. And choice creates the contracts you accept. You have the freedom to make any choice you want, but you cannot escape the consequences of that choice. It is the law, and nothing escapes the law of consequence.

In a way, this co-creative reality construct in which we exist is just part of the larger contractual experience; a game, if you will, where all beings and entities (good and bad) have collectively agreed (at some level) to play according to certain rules which are inviolable.

Just as the “laws of physics” can dictate “physical” consequences, there are “laws of spirituality/morality/ethics” that can dictate “metaphysical” or “karmic” consequences. Either in this lifetime or the next, the balance comes due. This can become quite complicated, however, because those who perform precisely the same deeds or acts but perhaps with different intentions—or even with different levels of conscious/spiritual development—will not yield the same karmic result. Different strokes for different folks. Karma isn’t as deterministic as one might think.

This is why working in accordance with certain principles or codes of conduct are always beneficial but they aren’t precise. The wisdom to know when to act, when to refrain, and all nuances of behavior in between, is a never-ending learning experience. I make plenty of mistakes, trust me. But there are correspondences which can help. As Ra says, “the physical and the metaphysical are inseparable.”

In our physical universe, for example, we have the electromagnetic spectrum, which we could interpret metaphysically as the divine masculine force (electricity) and the divine feminine force (magnetism).

Now I’ve already explored some of their attributes in my article about the Holy Septenate; such as electricity having associations with thought/intellect, action, transmission and gravitation while alternatively, magnetism has associations with feeling/intuition, stillness, receptivity and radiation; so I will not repeat too much, but I will say that these two forces also carry moral attributes one can learn and use to conduct their affairs with all beings/entities in all dimensional realities (particularly if you’re working with the spiritual model of magick).

The divine feminine represents the non-aggression principle of the Infinite Creator. This principle embodies peace, a sacred neutral stance where contractual agreements can be established. The divine masculine represents the self-defense principle of the Infinite Creator. This principle embodies power a sacred polarizing stance where contractual disagreements can be refuted or rejected.

Using both of these principles in conduct allows for sovereign protection, so that mutual benefit is created and free will is not violated in the process (again, black magicians and malevolent beings/entities do not respect this process, but they must abide by certain inviolable laws nonetheless).

The stipulations of a contract in a legally-binding sense demand the same requirements as the contracts you create with every being/entity you interact with. There must be a “meeting of the minds” or “congress of consciousness” whereby two or more parties are able to have full transparency or disclosure on their goals, objectives, intentions and what rewards or benefits they plan to “yield” from the contract.

Once that is decided upon, then they can decide on terms and conditions, making sure there is equal consideration. A typical (benevolent) contract is a bilateral agreement between two or more parties, usually creating a reciprocal obligation for mutual benefit to occur.

Malevolent contracts should be refuted or rejected because in the case of an “agreement,” it is usually unilateral rather than bilateral. One party is often enslaved to the demands or threats of the other through deception (there was no full transparency or disclosure). The aggressing party brings nothing to the table, so to speak, and there is no equal consideration, which means their terms and conditions are fraudulent.

The divine masculine, when properly invoked, can return anything created by way of fraud or falsehood back to the sender for reconciliation. Just as the divine feminine, when properly invoked, can accept anything that is considered honorable and beneficial. In this capacity, balance can be achieved through all interactions.

In magickal workings, it is particularly wise to address those beings/entities you wish to contract with by their spiritual/moral polarity and place of residence (density/dimension/realm/plane) rather than by a specific name only, as names and forms (namarupa) can be faked by imposters who are seeking to deceive you into traps of agreement.

Besides, most of the benevolent beings/entities which offer the best assistance (devas, archangels, deities, higher self) reside more so in the formless realms. Names and forms become less important the closer you get to the Absolute or intelligent infinity (Infinite Creator). Name and form create definition and limitation because they are finite. Infinity transcends names, forms, definitions and limitations, because all exists in unity at the source.

Conversely, when a contract is formed between malevolent parties (such as an elite member requesting aid from an Orion Crusader), deception is not necessary, as both parties have a vested interest in power and polarizing themselves further in the negative direction. In rare cases the contract can resort to a contest, or battle of wills, to determine which party becomes the master, and which the slave, as Ra explains:

“In the calling, the entity which calls is a suppliant neophyte asking for aid in negative understanding, if you may excuse this misnomer. The Orion response increases its negative polarity as it is disseminating the negative [service-to-self] philosophy, thereby enslaving or bidding the entity calling.

There are instances, however, when the contact becomes a contest which is prototypical of negativity. In this contest, the caller will attempt, not to ask for aid, but to demand results. Since the third-density negatively oriented harvestable entity has at its disposal an incarnative experiential nexus and since Orion Crusaders are, in a great extent, bound by the first distortion [law of free will] in order to progress, the Orion entity is vulnerable to such bidding if properly done. In this case, the third-density entity becomes master and the Orion Crusader becomes entrapped and can be bid. This is rare. However, when it has occurred, the Orion entity or social memory complex involved has experienced loss of negative polarity in proportion to the strength of the bidding third-density entity.”

Final Thoughts

I suspect most people of both religious and atheistic sensibilities will often frown at the archetype of the magician. The former assuming that a person who stands in their own sovereignty and chooses to be a master of one’s self must then, by default, not be in alignment with divine or benevolent forces, while the latter assumes that person is merely indulging in the fantasy of imagination, which offers nothing of physical substance or practical application.  To that, I would say both are making an error in judgement.

A person who learns how to stand in their own sovereignty is more capable of recognizing the sovereignty and inherent rights of all other beings and entities, large and small. From this, one learns how to conduct themselves in very practical ways, which yields rewards in both physical and metaphysical substance.

Working in accordance with the proper laws and principles means realigning your will with something greater than yourself, and more often than not, a true magician’s power is greatest when they have gained enough wisdom to understand that their will and the will of the divine serve the same ends.

I figured I’d leave you with one last Ra quote for the road:

“Visualization is the tool of the adept. Those who learn to hold visual images in mind are developing an inner concentrative power that can transcend boredom and discomfort. When this ability has become crystallized in an adept, the adept may then do polarizing in consciousness without external action, which can affect the planetary consciousness. This is the reason for existence of the so-called White Magician. Only those wishing to pursue the conscious raising of planetary vibration will find visualization to be a particularly satisfying type of meditation.”

Stillness in the Storm Editor: Why did we post this?

Consciousness is one of the most mysterious phenomena of all time. Scientists, philosophers, and mystics have been searching for the answer to the question, What is Consciousness? for most of human history. In modern times, the spiritual origins of consciousness are being replaced with a materialistic view, that awareness emerges as an additive property of electrical impulses in living things. Despite the fact this theory is assumed to be true, any self-respecting psychologist will tell you we have no idea what consciousness really is. The preceding article discusses consciousness, some of its properties, and possible origins. This is helpful to contemplate because, in the act of trying to understand the mysteries of consciousness, you develop critical thinking skills and stimulate your philosophic muscles, both which are immensely important for almost everything we do in life. Additionally, you’ll develop abstract thinking skills, the ability to explore intangible realities that govern material realms. With the power of an active mind capable of navigating the realities of consciousness, great leaps in personal attainment can be made along with preparing you for the Great Work of making this world a better place.

What is our mission? Why do we post what we do?

Our mission here is to curate (share) articles and information that we feel is important for the evolution of consciousness. Most of that information is written or produced by other people and organizations, which means it does not represent our views or opinions as managing staff of Stillness in the Storm. Some of the content is written by one of our writers and is clearly marked accordingly. Just because we share a CNN story that speaks badly about the President doesn’t mean we’re promoting anti-POTUS views. We’re reporting on the fact as it was reported, and that this event is important for us to know so we can better contend with the challenges of gaining freedom and prosperity. Similarly, just because we share a pro/anti-[insert issue or topic] content, such as a pro-second amendment piece or an anti-military video doesn’t mean we endorse what is said. Again, information is shared on this site for the purpose of evolving consciousness. In our opinion, consciousness evolves through the process of accumulating knowledge of the truth and contemplating that knowledge to distill wisdom and improve life by discovering and incorporating holistic values. Thus, sharing information from many different sources, with many different perspectives is the best way to maximize evolution. What’s more, the mastery of mind and discernment doesn’t occur in a vacuum, it is much like the immune system, it needs regular exposure to new things to stay healthy and strong. If you have any questions as to our mission or methods please reach out to us at [email protected].
