(John Vibes) According to recent interviews from defectors of the Church of Scientology, Tom Cruise is considered a god among the lower level parishioners in the church. Bree Mood, a Scientology defector who recently left the church said that Tom Cruise is considered a “god” or “deity” among practitioners of the religion. Mood also revealed that Scientology churches bus their members to theaters every time one of the actor’s films is released, and regularly take them back for second and third screenings.

“Tom Cruise was a god in the lower ranks … every time a Tom Cruise movie came out they’d buy all his tickets. It could be 500, 1,000, up to 2,500 people. I’m not kidding,” Mood said.
The most high profile defector from the church is actress Leah Remini, who was in the church since she was a child, but publicly left the organization several years ago and went on to expose their crimes with a book and television series.
Remini has also said that members of the church consider Tom Cruise a deity.
“He is second to David Miscavige — the savior of the free world,” Remini said.
Remini also said that Tom Cruise is aware of the abuse that takes place at the church, and that he is actively trying to cover it up.

“Where Tom is concerned… He is very aware of the abuses that go on in Scientology. He’s been part of it. He’s best friends with David Miscavige, so he’s privy to the punishments that David Miscavige doles out, and I’ve been told by a senior executive of Scientology, who was there, that David Miscavige constantly threatened the staff at Gold Base with bringing Tom Cruise to Gold Base to kick their f*cking asses,” Remini said in an interview with The Daily Beast.
Tom De Vocht, a former member of Scientology’s Commodore Messenger’s Organization (CMO), or its internal police, says that Cruise and Miscavige get along very well, and are both extremely self-absorbed.
“They’re two peas in a pod. They’re very similar characters—both rather absorbed by themselves, and intensely so. You don’t want to look at ’em wrong, say anything wrong, and you definitely don’t want to better them in any way. You had to be very careful around them,” De Vocht said.
Another defector, Valerie Haney, who was a member of Scientology’s Sea Org for 22 years, says that the church “auditioned” Cruise’s girlfriends. Haney alleges that Cruise’s marriage to Katie Holmes was arranged through one of these auditions. Haney also said that Cruise and Miscavige were deities in their own minds.
“Tom Cruise worships David Miscavige like a god. They worshiped each other,” Haney said.
Below is an interview with Ron Miscavige, father of David Miscavige.
Stillness in the Storm Editor: Why did we post this?
A cult is a religious organization centered around some set of dogma or social belief system, often characterized by using force and intimidation to compel members to participate in the group’s agenda or maintain allegiances. The term cult has been used in a confusing manner with respect to the media, which often invoke the word to refer to groups they want to decry or devalue in the public eye. The preceding information discusses a “cult” in some fashion or another. Some cults are indeed autocratic tyrannical organizations that cause great harm. The word cult often evinces a revulsion response, making it a good word for distorting public opinion through ancient disgust programs in the human psyche. Real cults exist, such as the modern-day cult of scientific materialism, or Scientology. Some cults have no official institutional head or organization, whereas others are well organized and branded. As truth-seekers, comprehending the true nature of a cult is vitally important, firstly to avoid any smear campaigns pushed by the media. Secondly, so as to identify if you are in a cult or thinking like a cult member. The Deep State encourage the general population to think like a cult member, which is someone who believes something without knowing why making the belief system itself a recruitment tool. In a grand sense, childhood is characterized by cult-like thinking and social groups, due to the fact we lack the intellectual prowess to understand our familial and ingroup beliefs as children. As such, everyone has a fair amount of cult-like thinking to undo in their personal lives. Understanding cults and how to liberate yourself from cult-thinking is extremely valuable to one who values freedom and prosperity.

I am involved with Scientology; but I like religion in general. I have been involved with Scientology since I was 18 off and on, and I am 58 now. I am non-denominational. I go to a Methodist church every other Sunday and a Unity Church on the other Sundays. Last year I went alternatively to a Mormon church and a Church of Religious Science. I figure all the paths lead the same direction and the most experience I can get the better off I will be.
I have taken several courses in Scientology. I have gained, what I consider personally, a great deal from those courses. From my personal experience in Scientology I have not seen any of the circus that Leah Remini trudges out on A&E, I have not spent thousands and thousands of dollars in Scientology, and I don’t think of Tom Cruise as a deity.
Seems so much hate generated about religion over the eons in human history. What is this all about? I think the human spirit is frustrated at the earthly condition of being stuck in a body and all the manipulation that goes into making people believe that all they are is a body. Just a guess. … I have experienced out-of-body numerous times over the years, both consciously and in the dream state. I know I am not a body. There is a deep peace that can come over one with this experience. This I know. I attribute my involvement and education of Scientology materials to be a big step in my ascension process. But, I could have done it with or without Scientology I’m pretty sure. – By the way, Hubbard, the founder of Scientology, got his material for Scientology from the works of the great religions of this planet. He sources his material to show where he gets his material from much of the time. I have read religious material of other religions quite a bit and I know this to be true. (Read the simpler or reputably translated versions to start with.)
Try not to take that ride that others will have you do in joining the hate cult. This will only keep you firmly entrenched in the matrix. (Thats what those who profit from materialism very much want you to do.) Check things out for yourself. I, for instance, when hearing that Muslim’s were inclined to be suicide bombers in the “news” media (along the time the U.S. wanted to invade Iraq) then I read the Koran and went several times to a Muslim mosque for church services. I found a whole new appreciation for Muslims and enjoyed the time I spent there at the Muslim mosque speaking with people about their religion.
Again, check it out for yourself. Seeing with your own eyes is believing. Riding the hate train will hold you back in the end a lot more than you might think. The “news” media (including social media) is controlled by those who control the money on this planet (they actually OWN the money – they manufacture it. They are truly above money. These are the materialists.) Look at who is pointing the fingers; they will tell you Scientology is a brainwashing cult, but they are the ones doing the brainwashing. There is way too much good in the world, and there is so much time that can be spent realizing ones true nature as something a great deal more than a human body; the human experience. Don’t let the hate monger hold you back. I’m not. (If I don’t answer corresponding texts on this site it is because I mostly spend my time listening and viewing material that will contribute more to my overall well-being. This website is good in many aspects, but I choose the more uplifting conversations mostly on this website. Material where I can see my time is not wasted, enjoying myself in rewarding social commentary to help myself, my neighbors, and the planet. Seek and know the truth, not what someone else is telling you is the truth.
