(John Vibes) The Dutch artist Daan Roosegaarde has created an innovative tower that sucks smog out of the air and turns it into beautiful diamonds. The Smog Free Tower, as Roosegaarde’s team calls it, has been deployed in cities across the world, including Rotterdam, Beijing, Tianjin and Dalian.

The tower filters an estimated 30,000 cubic meters of polluted air per hour. The structure is a 7-meter tall aluminum tower which uses only 1170 watts of solar power and positive ionisation technology.
Initially, the tower created a large volume of waste, until the team realized that the waste was made up of carbon.
“We had buckets of this disgusting material in our studio,” says Roosegaarde.
They devised a plan to condense the carbon down enough to where it would turn the carbon into diamonds, and it actually worked! Once the diamonds are retrieved, they are then used for rings, cufflinks, and similar products.
“It’s all about connecting new technology with creative thinking. If you start thinking about that, there is so much you can imagine, so much more you can do,” Roosegaarde said.
The team is expanding their vision to other deployable structures, including billboards. In a recent partnership with students from UDEM University in Mexico, Roosegaarde’s team set up a smog eating billboard that works using the same technology, and cleans the air that an estimated 104,000 people are breathing each day.

This is interesting 🧐 Only concern is. Is it taking CO2 out of the atmosphere to? Now if it’s only taking out Carbon monoxide and toxic substances, then great. But the lie of CO2 climate change is just that, A lie. CO2 is fundamental to life, and already lower than optimal. 400 ppm were as 1200ppm would be a whole lot better.
C02 dose effect climate, but mostly in a positive way. A very low level dose cause warming but this level is lower than what is needed to sustain life. Any increase over this level dose not significantly change warming and only has a positive effect. I like to describe this like painting a wall. The first coat dose not completely cover. ( This is the same as the level of C02 that causes warming ) The next coat may effect climate a smidgin ( All the mised parts from the first coat ) But any subsequent coats dose not make any difference to the covering of the wall and likewise any increase in CO2 dose not make any difference to warming but dose have a positive effect on the planet. The level that did cause some warming was needed ( to cover the wall ) For life itself.
MSM tries to talk that Carbon dioxide is a pollutant, it isn’t. It’s Carbon monoxide that is the pollutant.
Diamonds are made of Carbon so it’s not the pollutant toxic stuff that’s being turned into diamonds ( diamonds are pure ) So were is that going?
So is it only Carbon monoxide that is being turned into diamonds or all the Carbon elements? The world has way more diamonds than it really knows what to do with so is this technology really good as portrayed or dose it need modifications to re release the CO2 back to the atmosphere and not make a load of useless diamonds.
