(Stillness in the Storm Editor) There is a spiritual war afoot. The deep state and those actors who support them are losing their grip on the people they’ve enslaved through covert means. But an alliance of good men and women have mobilized, united, and is taking a stand against the forces of darkness.
This spiritual battle is happening right here, right now.
It is in the domain of debate, politics, and discourse, often using platforms like Twitter to engage in the discussion of facts and values.
The fact that Twitter is openly editing and censoring free speech of a duly elected president is evidence proving the war has gone hot.
The cowards in the deep state, who seek to control humanity by hiding behind front people are revealing themselves for the world to see. Thus, to be apart of the greatest battle for truth, freedom, and justice—spiritual principles—one must understand the battlefield of ideas.
Wars and conflict emerge because of differences of truth or value. Deep state actors know how to exaggerate divides to get people to war against each other when they would otherwise settle their differences via speech and discourse.
As such, when one group attempts to censor and suppress the speech of another, they are beginning a spiritual battle.
Anyone who’s studied history seriously knows that ideas are the things we use to engage in civil conflict, and it’s only when we stop talking that open warfare becomes the only way to decide what to do.
The deep state want open war. They want people in the streets rioting. They want us to keep our truths to ourselves, hoping we’ll sling insults and undermine those that disagree with us when their backs are turned.
But we shouldn’t fall for this. We need to continue using speech, language, free expression, to share our truths and values so we, as a people, can restore harmony and create new and better social contracts that defend our rights and make thriving possible, for all.
Why is it good that there’s an open conflict between POTUS and twitter? Because their unlawful, false, and deceitful censorship of Trump reveals who the true enemies of freedom, justice, and truth are.
The fact this conflict is “hot” means that more and more people will be exposed to the real truth. Which is that covert interests (the deep state or cabal) have been manipulating public opinion through propaganda for years, decades, even centuries.

Much like when an alcoholic has their friends perform an intervention, the sleeping masses, and even some new-age types, will try to resist the truth that conceptual conflict is necessary to achieve lasting peace.
But the tide of freedom has risen and we should not try to push it back down, but instead, rise with it.
Specifically, the basis of Trump’s statements about the riots is lawful. POTUS has the right to intervene to protect and defend the rights of Americans if their local authorities fail to act. And Trump can use deadly force to do so if that is necessary.
Some assumed that merely mentioning that POTUS has the right to use deadly force is a threat of violence and objectively wrong. But this isn’t the case.
When an individual fails to respect the rights of another, that individual invites a defender of the peace to intervene on the people’s behalf.
Trump, in this case, issued a warning, reminding these contemptuous looters—who have no moral qualms with looting their fellow citizens—that if they continue to break the law, POTUS will intervene. And given the emergency situation, a wartime situation, deadly force may have to be used to stop a person from harming another.
Deadly force is not a license to kill. It’s the last resort—when all other options have been exhausted.
1/5 #POTUS, as COMMANDER in CHIEF, is charged with defending the peace—protecting the rights and property of all citizens. When a governor, mayor, or law enforcement body refuses or is unable to honor their mandate to protect the rights of their citizens, POTUS can intervene. https://t.co/CaURMTxPwE

Parents know that reminding your children that a boundary exists helps them not break rules designed to protect themselves or others. The reminder that the rule and consequence exists is not objectively harmful.
This is effectively what POTUS did. He reminded potential looters that if they violate the law and endanger citizens, they could be stopped with deadly force.
I admit, Trump’s language lacked tact. But the basis is still valid and lawful.
In closing, I think as troubling as conflict can be to witness, it’s important to remember that often through conflict if managed well, we can effect great positive changes.
Psychologists who treat couples know that what often causes the loss of love in a relationship is each person’s inability to honestly share what’s in their hearts. And in the beginning, the truth can sometimes be unsettling. But after the initial shock, and the healing power of time, the truth does what it does best—it changes us for the better.
I have faith that with the right constructive attitude, we the people will rise to the occasion and make good out of this situation.

In response to sections of Minneapolis being destroyed by rioters — including the Minneapolis Police Department’s 3rd Police Precinct building, which Mayor Jacob Frey (D) ordered evacuated ahead of its razing by rioters Thursday — President Trump issued a pair of tweets early Friday denouncing the “thugs … dishonoring the memory of George Floyd,” the 46-year-old African-American man who died Monday while being forcefully detained by Minneapolis police. “[W]hen the looting starts, the shooting starts,” Trump warned.
Twitter promptly censored Trump’s tweet, saying it “violated the Twitter Rules about glorifying violence.” Twitter’s action follows an escalating feud between Trump and Twitter that ratcheted up Wednesday when the platform began to fact-check Trump’s tweets — an action quickly followed by an executive order from the president targeting big tech.
Friday morning, Trump responded to Twitter’s decision to censor his condemnation of the rioters and warning of potential consequences.
“I can’t stand back [and] watch this happen to a great American City, Minneapolis,” Trump wrote in the first of the censored tweets. “A total lack of leadership. Either the very weak Radical Left Mayor, Jacob Frey, get his act together and bring the City under control, or I will send in the National Guard [and] get the job done right. These THUGS are dishonoring the memory of George Floyd, and I won’t let that happen. Just spoke to Governor Tim Walz and told him that the Military is with him all the way. Any difficulty and we will assume control but, when the looting starts, the shooting starts. Thank you!”
Twitter quickly censored the second of the pair of tweets, replacing it with the following explanation: “This Tweet violated the Twitter Rules about glorifying violence. However, Twitter has determined that it may be in the public’s interest for the Tweet to remain accessible.” (Below is a screenshot of the censored tweet followed by the full tweet, which embeds uncensored.)

Trump responded Friday morning by accusing Twitter of a glaring partisan double standard and vowing regulatory action.
“Twitter is doing nothing about all of the lies & propaganda being put out by China or the Radical Left Democrat Party. They have targeted Republicans, Conservatives & the President of the United States. Section 230 should be revoked by Congress. Until then, it will be regulated!”

Trump followed up that post with a tweet quoting Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo as stating, “The President has been targeted by Twitter,” and adding: “What about all of the lies and fraudulent statements made by Adam Schiff, and so many others, on the Russian Witch Hunt Plus, Plus, Plus? What about China’s propaganda? WHO’s mistakes? No flags?”

In another tweet, Trump argued that Twitter just proved the validity of his executive order. “Regulate Twitter if they are going to start regulating free speech,” he wrote citing Judge Jeanine. “Well, as they have just proven conclusively, that’s what they are doing. Repeal Section 230!!!”

In further explanation of their decision to censor the president, Twitter Comms said in a statement: “This Tweet violates our policies regarding the glorification of violence based on the historical context of the last line, its connection to violence, and the risk it could inspire similar actions today. We’ve taken action in the interest of preventing others from being inspired to commit violent acts, but have kept the Tweet on Twitter because it is important that the public still be able to see the Tweet given its relevance to ongoing matters of public importance.”
As The Daily Wire highlighted, while Twitter chose to censor the president’s tweet for allegedly “glorifying violence,” it has chosen not to censor high-profile tweets directly promoting the violent actions of the rioters.
Twitter’s move follows Trump’s executive order Thursday urging the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to reexamine the extent to which Section 230 protects social media companies from liability, an order motivated by what Trump has repeatedly criticized as social media platforms’ bias against conservatives and Republicans.
“A small handful of powerful social media monopolies controls a vast portion of all public and private communications in the United States, and we know what they are,” Trump said during the signing of the order. “They’ve had unchecked power to censor, restrict, edit, shape, hide, alter virtually any form of communication between private citizens or large public audiences. There’s no precedent in American history for so small a number of corporations to control so large a sphere of human interaction, and that includes individual people controlling vast amounts of territory, and we can’t allow that to happen, especially when they go about doing what they’re doing, because they’re doing things incorrectly.”
This article has been updated to include Trump’s additional tweets citing Fox News.
Stillness in the Storm Editor: Why did we post this?
The news is important to all people because it is where we come to know new things about the world, which leads to the development of more life goals that lead to life wisdom. The news also serves as a social connection tool, as we tend to relate to those who know about and believe the things we do. With the power of an open truth-seeking mind in hand, the individual can grow wise and the collective can prosper.
