If you want fair elections in this country be prepared for the resistance and abuse.

This is crazy, but it is the state of affairs in Maricopa county and most of the country.

If you speak out, or voice any type of dissenting opinion, leftists will use violence, intimidation, and threats to silence you.

I call this type of behavior cry-bullying, almost everyone reading this has either seen, or experienced cry-bullying and the downright abusive tactics of leftists and state sympathizers.

Just like everyone here, Maricopa County Treasurer Royce Flora is no stranger to these attacks.

Flora has announced he is resigning early, because he is tired of the abuse directed at him by people in county government.

He just couldn’t take it anymore.

The reason for the abuse?

It’s simple…….Flora has called the 2020 election into question.

Outgoing Maricopa County Treasurer Royce Flora resigned early Wednesday, citing a “toxic environment” in county government.

Flora, who has been treasurer since 2016, said in his resignation letter that his last day is Thursday.

Flora was set to leave office in mid-January, but said that he was unable to complete his term in part because “the political environment at the county has become so toxic I have no desire to endure further abuse.”

State Rep. John Allen defeated Flora in the Republican primary and went on to win the general election in November.

While new county terms typically begin Jan. 1, Allen said Thursday that the county attorney has advised him that under state law he cannot take office as treasurer until his legislative term expires Jan. 11, and so Flora’s term would not end until then.

Outgoing Maricopa County Treasurer Royce Flora announced on Wednesday his resignation from his post on December 31, citing “disgust” with the Board of Supervisors. In his resignation, Flora also announced his intention to assist with the recall of Supervisors Clint Hickman, Bill Gates, Jack Sellers, and Steve Gallardo.

“It has also come to my attention that the incoming Treasurer cannot be legally sworn in until January 11, 2021 and therefore according to the Arizona Constitution, my term would extend until that time,” wrote Flora. “This is unacceptable to me for several reasons. First, the liability bond protecting me expires December 31st, 2020 and I would become personably liable for any loss.

Second, the political environment at the County has become so toxic I have no desire to endure further abuse. Finally, I intend to participate in the recall of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors which puts me in direct conflict with County government. For these and other reasons, I resign my office of Maricopa County Treasurer effective on the statutorily prescribed date of midnight, December 31st, 2020.”
