This action correlates to things like muscles being slightly inflamed after exercise (to help rebuild and repair what was broken down), your toe swelling up after stubbing it on a corner or an area of the body swelling up to remove foreign or harmful substances.
Chronic inflammation on the other hand is when the body is in a continual state of low-level or even high-level inflammation. Chronic inflammation has been described as “the most significant cause of death in the world today.”
Instead of focusing on chronic inflammation, we want to instead direct our intention at ways of supporting a healthy and normal inflammatory response within the body.
