(Elizabeth Stauffer) As gas prices throughout the U.S. surge out of control, it’s no surprise that gas theft is on the rise. During the 1973 to ’74 supply crunch, thieves would siphon gas through rubber tubes to steal fuel. Kind of messy, but it worked.
