Forgetting Some Dreams – Why Does It Happen?
(Exploring Your Mind) Humans are prone to forgetting some dreams while remembering others and this happens shortly after you wake up. The sensations you felt and the loose imagery soon fades away too. Why does it happen? Why doesn’t your brain allow you to remember your dream universe?
The Symbolism of Dreams According to Jung
(Exploring Your Mind) The symbolism of dreams depends on how they integrate our conscious and unconscious lives.
How Our Dreams Prepare Us to Face Our Fears
(Science Daily) Do bad dreams serve a real purpose? To answer this question, researchers from the University of Geneva (UNIGE) and University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG), Switzerland, — working in collaboration with the University of Wisconsin (USA) — analysed the dreams of a number of people and identified which areas of the brain were activated when they experienced fear in their dreams. They found that once the individuals woke up, the brain areas responsible for controlling emotions responded to fear-inducing situations much more effectively. These results, which are published in the journal Human Brain Mapping, demonstrate that dreams help us react better to frightening situations, thereby paving the way for new dream-based therapeutic methods for combating anxiety.
The Afterlife: They’re Waiting For Us On the Other Side – Doctor Studies 14,000 Dreams of Dying People
(Vic Bishop) We tend to look at death as the end of a life, but surely there’s more to the story than that. And while we know that people have very similar stories to tell after a near-death experience, often speaking of a tunnel of light and then being returned to the mortal world, we rarely consider what happens to our dreams as we approach the end.

Breaching the Veil, Mediumship, and Smoke Portals LWAP
(Sterling Nicole Bennett) The following dream sequence includes white smoke portals, classrooms, mind control gas, and a moment in which I break through the astral veil and affect another person. Who is Ilyana and the Green Man? LWAP
(Sterling Nicole Bennett) A voice rang in my head. A loud voice. One of the same voices I have heard in my waking life. It said to me, “You have visited different dimensions, but you will not likely visit them again. You need to focus on what you’ve seen. What you really wanted to know from Ilyana was the Green Man’s name.”

(Sequoyah Kennedy) I am laying in my bed, drifting slowly into blessed sleep and wandering in a cloud of hypnagogic dreams. Right before I am overcome by the void, it hits me. Some beautiful idea: the best song lyrics ever written, the most ingenious and compelling short story plot, the coolest comic book possible. I should write this down, I think, I have to write this down. No, it’s such an impossibly good idea, of course I’ll remember it, and sleep’s siren song is irresistible. In the morning, I remember having a great idea. I cannot remember what that great idea was. I am an idiot.
