(Robyn Dolgin) Patrisse Cullors admits she’s made a “few mistakes” as the ugly headlines continue to mount over her scandalous spending as the disgraced former leader of Black Lives Matter.

America Was Built on Sacrifice
(William M. Gardner) In 1972, after receiving my draft notice, while in college, I enlisted in the Navy. For part of my three-year enlistment, I found myself stationed in Pearl Harbor. My ship was the USS John Adams (SSBN620), which actually ported out of Guam.
Will Monkeypox Replace COVID as the Next Great Democrat Scam?
(Deane Waldman, M.D.) As dire COVID warnings fade from public view, they are being replaced by a new health clarion call: monkeypox. Is this a real existential threat to life or is monkeypox the next Democrat (COVID) scam?
Pro-Abortion Leftists Go All In on Eugenics
(William Sullivan) On the legal front, it appears that Roe v. Wade may soon suffer a calamitous defeat. But its defenders continue to insist that Roe remains popular with the American people because they have already won American hearts and minds about the moral necessity for women to have the ability to “choose” to kill their unborn child in the womb.
A New Kind of Child Abuse
(M.B. Mathews) Until only a few years ago, child abuse was thought primarily to be hitting a child, starving a child, confining a child in a closet, not properly feeding a child, or engaging in sexual practices with a child. Now child abuse has taken a quantum leap. Child abuse now includes poisoning and mutilating a child to make him look like a member of the opposite sex, often by taking advantage of the child’s trust in a parent.
The Collapse of Trust
(Allan J. Feifer) Looking at the issues facing our country, there seems to be something pernicious for which we don’t seem to know what to do to correct the downward trajectory that is shaking us to our core.
When You Label Half of the Country Racist…
(Blaine L. Pardoe) Hearing of the racially motivated mass shooting in Buffalo, I fully anticipated the leftist cries to restrict guns. But these calls were overshadowed by an elevation of a more recent progressive talking point: Blaming Republicans as a whole for the attack. Rolling Stone, long a banner carrier for the Left, went with these headlines: “The Buffalo Shooter Isn’t a ‘Lone Wolf.’ He’s a Mainstream Republican… The right-wing extremists who control the modern GOP are all gripped by a racist delusion.” CNN’s Jim Acosta came out and laid the blame at Tucker Carlson’s doorstep. Newsweek ran the headline, “Parkland Father Blames Ron DeSantis, Other Republicans for Buffalo Shooting.”
The Internal Revenue (Election Rigging) Service
(Clarice Feldman) Should the projections of a Republican tsunami at the midterms prove true, there are so many things that a Republican Congress must prioritize. Not the least of which is revising the civil-service laws to permit removing incompetent and corrupt bureaucrats, cutting drastically the federal bureaucracy, and reforming, among other agencies, the CDC, NIH, FBI, and the IRS.
Woke Hypocrisy: A User’s Guide
(Steve Rose) Wokeism is not what it pretends to be.
The Silent Invasion and War at Home
(Jeffrey Folks) It has been chilling to watch the steady number of deaths, the territory invaded, the executions and rapes, the fear and the flight. It is especially shocking because we had peace for so long, but now we see all the possibilities of evil coming out.
Facebook Censors Persecuted Christians
(Raymond Ibrahim) Facebook is at it again — censoring the (Christian) victims of violence and sexual abuse while covering up for their (Muslim) abusers.
The Return of a Powerful U.S.
(William R. Hawkins) On May 3, President Joe Biden visited the Lockheed Martin plant in Troy, Alabama. He was there to thank the company and its workers for building the weapons being sent to Ukraine to defend against the Russian invasion, in particular the Javelin anti-tank missile. He told the employees “You’re allowing the Ukrainians to defend themselves. And, quite frankly, they’re making fools of the Russian military in many instances.” Biden referenced America as “the arsenal of democracy,” citing not just World War II but also Iraq and Afghanistan. “And every worker in this facility and every American taxpayer is directly contributing to the case for freedom. And that’s something we can all be incredibly proud of, in my view,” he declared.
Is the American Postmodern Left a Fascist Movement?
(Stephen B. Young) For my work in corporate social responsibility, I was recently reading The Great Transformation, Karl Polanyi’s critique of capitalism, when something he wrote gave me one of those really uncomfortable “Aha” moments.
The Man Who Wants to Take Some Blue Out of California
(Elise Cooper) Chris Rodriguez is a congressional candidate running in California and is a breath of fresh air. He has overcome hardship to achieve the American dream. He stepped up to the plate after 9/11 and enlisted in the Marines. Now he wants to serve in a different capacity, running in the 49th Congressional District against Mike Levin.
The Nazi Evil Behind Germany’s Wealthiest Companies
(Janet Levy) Supplying uniforms to the German empire, textile magnate Gunther Quandt made millions during World War I. Shortly after, when electrification was booming worldwide, he gained control of one of the world’s largest battery-makers. He soon acquired one of Germany’s primary arms and ammo manufacturers. This was just the beginning. He went on to gain stupendous wealth and power through deals with the Nazis. The story of Quandt, as told in David de Jong’s Nazi Billionaires: The Dark History of Germany’s Wealthiest Dynasties, evokes awe and dread. For it is about soulless profiteering and participation without any qualms in the enslavement and massacre of millions of Jews.
