(Stillness in the Storm Editor) The following article is meant for educational purposes regarding an expected solar storm and resulting effects on Earth, not to fear monger about the potential loss of technology—although that is a possibility.
Solar energy plays a critical role in life on Earth, including human beings and of course the technology used in society today—all of which is very sensitive to changes in the Earth’s magnetic field induced by high-intensity solar wind.
German biophysicist Dieter Broers was featured in the documentary Solar Revolution, which presents evidence that demonstrates human consciousness is directly affected by solar energy, show that such changes clearly mark history.
In addition, various whistleblowers have come forward revealing what ancient cultures seem to have discovered thousands of years ago, that the Sun goes through cycles of increased activity that will eventually lead to a grand solar shift or event. It has been called the Rapture in Christianity, Ekpyrosis in Stoicism, and in modern parlance, “the Event” or Ascension. All of which will mean incredible changes for life as we know it.
According to one insider turned whistleblower, Corey Goode, this solar event is predicted to occur between 2017 and 2023, according to estimates supplied by space programs that have made incredible advances over the past century under the cover of darkness.
It is interesting that the peak of the solar minimum scientists set for 2018—right within the window mentioned above for the grand event.
The storm expected to hit Earth in the coming days will be minor in comparison to the grand event but it may just lead some to investigate the very real effects our star has on life.

A HUGE solar storm is heading towards Earth which could leave us without mobile phones, satellite TV and even electricity.
Modern-day Britain [and the world] could go into meltdown after scientists forecast the solar storm to hit between now and Friday which could wreak havoc with technology.
Solar storms affect Earth’s technology as radiation is thrown at the planet from the Sun.
While humans are protected from the radiation by the atmosphere, the rays can heat the outer atmosphere, causing it to expand which can affect satellites in orbit. That could lead to a lack of GPS navigation, mobile phone signal and satellite TV such as Sky.
Furthermore, higher currents in the magnetosphere – the Earth’s magnetic field – could lead to a surge of electricity in power lines, which can blow out electrical transformers and power stations leading to a temporary loss of electricity in a region – although this usually only occurs in areas that are in high altitude.
GETTYSolar storms could wreak havoc on satellitesThe US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) says a coronal hole has opened on the Sun, leading to a stream of solar particles hurtling towards Earth.
According to SpaceWeatherLive: “The magnetic field of a coronal hole is different than the rest of the Sun. Instead of returning to the surface, these magnetic field lines stay open and stretch out into space.”
As a result, Earth is expected to be hit by a swarm of particles in the coming days which, on a better note, could cause the Northern Lights to be visible.
Mauro Messerotti, from the University of Trieste the National Institute of Astrophysics (INAF) warned that the hole “extends for about 30 per cent of the disk of the sun” and that the structure “may persist for more than a month because these holes sometimes last for more than one full rotation of the sun, which lasts 28 days.”

Mr Messerotti explained that in the coronal holes,”the magnetic fields of the sun are projected outside into the interplanetary space and accelerate the flow of particles from our star.”
