(Amber Crawford) After being released from jail pending his appeal, hate hoaxer Jussie Smollett has released a song maintaining his innocence after being found guilty of 5 felony counts for lying to the police and staging a hate crime against himself.

After being out of jail for three weeks, Smollett released the new “song”, entitled ‘Thank You God’, claiming that all the profits of the song will be donated to the Rainbow Push Coalition, Secure the Bag Safety, and the Illinois Innocence Project.
In this new song, Smollett raps:
“It’s like they’re hell-bent on not solving the crime. Taking out the elements of race and trans and homophobia that’s straight taking lives.”
Smollett is suggesting that the court is ignoring the racial and homophonic elements of this case… but, in reality, the whole case is about him staging a hate crime. Does he think that by releasing this song, the public will automatically forget about the overwhelming evidence against him?
The rap continues:
“But turn around and act like I’m the one that killed the strides. Maybe we stick together, maybe we read more, instead of saying that ‘it’s above me now.’ Brother you sure? But I can’t be mad, take my ego out.
Some people searching for fame. Some people chasing that clout.
Just remember this… this ain’t that situation.”
By continuing to blame everyone but himself for the situation he’s in, Smollett is doing everything besides taking his ego out. All this song demonstrates is his poor attempts at trying to guilt people into supporting him.
“You think I’m stupid enough to kill my reputation?” Smollett asks in his song.
Well, he was stupid enough to stage a poorly-planned hate crime against himself, get caught, and then continue to pretend like he didn’t do anything wrong… so, yeah.
“Y’all better look at someone else, you got the wrong one,” he insists.
“But I wanna thank y’all, I know I still got you,” says Smollett, playing to his uninformed supporters. “This is for the people who kept it real, who kept it true.”
This song is Smollett’s sad attempt to convince his fans who are less educated on the issue that the court is being racist and ignoring the (manufactured) hate crime he endured.

Commenters on Smollett’s post gush over his “selflessness”, his “strength”, and even how “pure” his heart is. The mindless following of these people is hard to witness, but it is important to note that comments have been limited on his post, effectively filtering out the negative comments.
Fortunately, Twitter is full of people making fun of how narcissistic this song is, and how delusional Smollett and his followers are.
