(B.K. House) At 55,000 dollars per year, Justine Ang Fonte had a decent good gig going in the NYC private school. She was teaching sex-ed at the Dalton School on Manhattan’s Upper East Side but will not be returning in the fall, according to an email sent by the head of the school, Jim Best.

Parents at the school were rightfully outraged upon learning Ms. Fonte had shown cartoons about masturbation during sex-ed class to children as young as 1st grade and told students they couldn’t be hugged without consent. Apparently, it’s too much to ask teachers not to indoctrinate our children into the left’s dark, woke, dystopian world in this day and age. It is doubtful Ms. Fonte required her own parents to seek permission before being allowed to hug her.

The inappropriate lessons taught in part with the use of a free video series called Amaze infuriated parents. In the video shown to a class of first-graders, a cartoon little boy asks: “Hey, how come sometimes my penis gets big sometimes and points in the air?’‘ “That’s called an erection,” the adult cartoon character responds. “Sometimes I touch my penis because it feels good,” the boy adds.
In a message sent to parents and obtained by the NY Post, Mr. Best wrote: ‘Throughout her tenure at Dalton, Justine Ang Fonte has helped to develop an exemplary K-12 Health and Wellness program.’ adding ‘Dalton — our faculty, staff, administration, and trustees — continue to stand firmly behind this program and those who teach it.’
In reaction, one incensed parent responded saying, “This inability to admit a mistake or acknowledge misstep is strange.”
Stillness in the Storm Editor: Why did we post this?
The news is important to all people because it is where we come to know new things about the world, which leads to the development of more life goals that lead to life wisdom. The news also serves as a social connection tool, as we tend to relate to those who know about and believe the things we do. With the power of an open truth-seeking mind in hand, the individual can grow wise and the collective can prosper.
