Related New Poll Shows Kamala Harris’ Popularity Cratering Behind Biden, Predecessors

Russia issued a “black list” on Saturday of foreign persons barred from entering its borders in response to sanctions placed on it by the United States and its allies, USA Today reported.
Other important names on the list include Vice President Kamala Harris, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and actor Morgan Freeman.
“We emphasize that the hostile actions taken by Washington, which boomerang against the United States itself, will continue to receive a proper rebuff,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said. “Russian counter-sanctions are forced and aimed at forcing the ruling American regime, which is trying to impose a neo-colonial ‘rules-based world order’ on the rest of the world, to change its behavior, recognizing new geopolitical realities.”
“Russia does not seek confrontation and is open to honest, mutually respectful dialogue, separating the American people, who are always respected by us, from the US authorities, who incite Russophobia, and those who serve them. It is these people who are included in the Russian ‘black list,’” it said.
Others on the list include former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, and Hillary Clinton.
Not on the list are former Presidents Obama, George W. Bush, or Donald Trump. But it does include many supporters of former President Trump, as USA Today reported.
Prominent names include: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.; Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York; Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn.; Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.; Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas; Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga.; Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla.; Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y.; and Ilhan Omar, D-Minn.
The list also included deceased politicians such as former Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.; Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev; and former deputy director of the Defense Intelligence Agency Melissa Drisko.
Aside from politicians, tech executives such as Zuckerberg and Microsoft President Brad Smith were also banned, as well as journalists George Stephanopoulos of ABC News and Bret Stephens of The New York Times.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said Academy Award winner Freeman was part of the ban because he was part of a September 2017 video “accusing Russia of conspiring against the United States and calling for a fight against our country,” which was about Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
“I guess we will have to cancel our August family trip to Moscow…,” Psaki said on Twitter.

“I’m honored to receive a lifetime ban from Russia for my work to help defend the democracy of Ukraine. Putin, my feelings aren’t hurt. The collection of those banned for life from Russia come from all walks of life. I will always stand united with the people of Ukraine,” Connecticut Rep. Rosa DeLauro said.

On March 15, former President Donald Trump responded after the Kremlin sanctioned both the president and his son, along with Secretary of State Antony Blinken, other US officials, and “individuals associated with them,” CNN reported.
“In response to a series of unprecedented sanctions prohibiting, among other things, entry into the United States for top officials of the Russian Federation, from March 15 of this year, the Russian ‘stop list’ includes on the basis of reciprocity President J. Biden, Secretary of State A. Blinken, Secretary of Defense L. Austin and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff M. Milley, as well as a number of department heads and prominent US figures,” it said.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said that it was “an inevitable consequence of the extremely Russophobic course taken by the current US Administration, which, in a desperate attempt to maintain American hegemony, has relied, discarding all decency, on the frontal constricting of Russia.”
“At the same time, we do not refuse to maintain official relations if they meet our national interests, and, if necessary, we will solve problems arising from the status of persons who appear on the ‘black list’ in order to organize high-level contacts,” it said.
The list of those sanctioned includes US President Joe Biden, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley, National security adviser Jacob Sullivan, CIA Director William Burns, White House press secretary Jen Psaki, Daleep Singh, Biden’s deputy national security adviser for international economics, United States Agency for International Development Administrator Samantha Power, President Biden’s son Hunter Biden, Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Deputy Treasury Secretary Wally Adeyemo and Reta Jo Lewis, president and chairman of the board of directors of the Export-Import Bank
It said that more sanctions that will expand the list to include “top US officials, military officials, lawmakers, businessmen, experts, and media people who are Russophobic or contribute to inciting hatred towards Russia and the introduction of restrictive measures.”
In an email to his supporters, the 45th President of the United States responded to the sanctions from Russia.
“Breaking News: Russia just sanctioned Joe Biden. While that is a terrible thing, in so many ways, perhaps it will now be explained why the Biden family received 3.5 million dollars from the very wealthy former Mayor of Moscow’s wife. During our Presidential Debate, ‘moderator’ Chris Wallace, then of Fox, would not let me ask that question. He said it was inappropriate. Perhaps that’s why Biden has been so ‘slow on the draw’ with Russia. This is a really bad conflict of interest that will, perhaps now, be fully and finally revealed!” he said.
