(Julian Conradson) In a rare show of fortitude from the educational establishment – especially within the woke Bastian of California, one school district is digging in its heels against the medical tyranny that is being imposed by the State’s radical Governor, saying simply that it will ignore the order to mandate vaccines for students and staff.

After overwhelming pushback from parents and community members over Gavin Newsom’s announcement in October that all eligible students must get vaccinated for the upcoming spring semester, the Oakdale Joint Unified School District overwhelmingly passed a resolution saying the district will not adhere to the governor’s authoritarian mandate and will petition state officials to downgrade the requirement to a recommendation.
Sometimes, all it takes is a simple ‘no.’ Especially when the issue at hand has nothing to do with any law – refusing to comply with arbitrary, unscientific public health orders is not criminal.
The school board voted 4-1 in approval of the measure, which they called “absolutely essential,” because it enables parents the freedom to make their own informed decisions about their children’s health.
From the OUSD announcement:
“The governing board is aware that many parents have concerns about the safety of the COVID-19 vaccine and believes that parental choice regarding health decisions is absolutely essential.”
Regarding the vaccine mandate itself, the resolution clarifies that the district will not “deny employment” or “student access to in-person education” because of their Covid-19 vaccination status.
Naturally, the radical public health bureaucracy was not pleased with the district’s announcement. According to the Modesto Bee, the woke California Department of Education immediately threatened to cut attendance-based funding to schools that violate the governor’s vaccine mandate.
From the Modesto Bee:
“A California Department of Education spokesman said districts would lose attendance-based funding if students attend school in person but are not vaccinated per the state’s requirements.
State Superintendent Tony Thurmond respects local control and understands the difficult choices districts need to make in order to keep schools open and safe and to keep all students learning,” spokesman Scott Roark said via email. “However, there are audit consequences for not adhering to current immunization requirements.”
Although the threat to cut funding is a scary prospect to face for schools, the threat rings somewhat hollow when you consider the fact that California’s Vaccine Mandate for students has already been pushed back to the beginning of the 2022 fall semester by most of the districts in the state, including Los Angeles Unified – the countries third-largest district.
Even if they did hold true to their promise to cut funding, they wouldn’t be able to levy any punishment against the district for at least 6 months.
Oakdale’s battle is far from over, but a lot can change between now and then.
In short, if more schools and institutions simply just say no, instead of delaying the mandate, then the governor cannot enforce his dictatorial edict.
In theory, it’s that easy.
Because, once again, public health orders are not laws. They can only be effective if you, and everyone else, comply.
The 2022 fall semester is a long way away. Every other School District should take a page out of Oakdale’s book, and just refuse this tyranny outright.

Here’s an example of accumulating knowledge and truth: Why aren’t school district’s and state agencies testing the vaccinated staff on a weekly basis when vaccinated staff has tested positive for covid and most likely spread it to others at schools, jails, police and fire stations, etc..
Experts say BOTH unvaxed and Vaxed carry equal viral loads, thus you must TEST BOTH GROUPS TO SLOW THE SPREAD. This is so reckless. You have vaccinated staff infecting unvaccinated and this COULD be prevented if they were mandating testing the VACCINATED staff.
They should be testing ALL employee since science shows vaccinated people get and are spreading COVID.
WHY AREN”T SCHOOLS TESTING THE VACCINATED? THEY ARE SPREADING COVID< TOO!!!! And NOBODY is testing the vaccinated!? No wonder we still have outbreaks.
A study from the University of California, Davis shows vaccinated and unvaccinated people carry the SAME viral load when infected with covid-19. Essentially, “There was no significant difference in viral load between vaccinated and unvaccinated, or between asymptomatic and symptomatic groups.”
In November of 2021, the FDA website tells us, “Help stop Covid-19 by getting vaccinated.” Yes, the FDA will have us believe that by getting vaccinated you can be a hero and help stop the spread of virus. Well put down your cape and unflex your arm because you may end up getting and spreading covid despite your vaccination status.
Dec 21, 2021: “…vaccines are not 100% effective at preventing infection, some people who are fully vaccinated will still get and spread COVID-19.”
People who get vaccine breakthrough infections can be contagious.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), there have already been 4,115 reported cases of fully vaccinated people being hospitalized or dying with Covid-19 coronavirus breakthrough infections.
July 2021
“Fully vaccinated people with Delta variant breakthrough infections can spread the virus to others.”
Back in August of 2021, a pro-vaccine medical doctor wrote,
“Remarkably, the CDC is still proclaiming that vaccine breakthrough infections are rare – but when normal people hear that their barber, their cousin’s husband, and seemingly half the New York Yankees’ starters have experienced breakthrough infections, they might assume the CDC is lying.”
Vaccinated individuals should continue to wear face coverings in indoor and congregate settings, while also being tested for SARS-CoV-2 if they are exposed or experience COVID-like symptoms.
