The following video is a segment from Tucker Carlson’s show recently, wherein he clearly shows that the “Trump is stealing mailboxes or defunding the post office” story is completely false. Even the Washington Post is saying it’s a conspiracy theory: Democrats’ postal conspiracy is the biggest made-up controversy since Russiagate.
As a long time conspiracy researcher, it’s striking to see how little the media investigates these days.
Of course, I know that they likely knew that the story was bogus and ran it intentionally to stir up more Trump-hate.
The truth is, most people don’t fact check or understand how to make sense of raw information, largely because critical thinking isn’t taught anymore.
Nevertheless, we should learn how to fact check, especially the mainstream media.
If you don’t you’re likely to have your sense of reality severely distorted, which is the whole point. Control what a person’s sense of reality, you can control their behavior.

I’m well aware that Fox News is hardly untainted by deep state control as they are owned by Disney, which is one of six transnational corporations that essentially own all mainstream media.
But it’s not valid to dismiss a body of information because of the source, that’s called a genetic fallacy, also known as a fallacy of origin.
Genetic fallacy is a fallacy of irrelevance in which someone accepts a claim as true or false solely on the basis of its origin.
There are a number of different types of genetic fallacies, and they occur particularly often in discussions on controversial issues and in the political arena where it is common to attack the source of an argument instead of judging the argument by its quality and current value. (source)
In other words, whether or not a news story, video, or statement is true is not dependent on the source only but what the claim says and if that is actually a reflection of reality. You can learn more about how to discern and fact check here.
Now to debunk so fake news.
What are the other conspiracy theories they’re pushing?
How about the now totally debunked Russia Collusion conspiracy theory, as evidenced by the FBI lawyer, Kevin Clinesmith, who pled guilty to falsifying a report that helped prolong the illegal spying effort on the Trump campaign in 2016.

Now, using this as a key, I want you to go through and find every story claiming Trump colluded with Russia over the past four years.
All of them are based in fraud, hoaxes, fake news.
Who pushed those conspiracy theories? The democrats. Who helped them do it? The mainstream media.
The good news is the truth is winning, as it always does given enough time.
Despite this the truth needs to be defended. It might win out eventually. But while the people who know the truth wait, the world suffers.
Lastly, to be clear, this isn’t “political” per se, it’s a matter of truth and what’s right. Don’t let the politics of the situation cloud your thinking.
