(Stillness in the Storm Editor) Whichever candidate you supported—or not—surely we can agree that love is the answer. Are we really so angry, disillusioned, and hateful we want to lash out at anyone we can because what we wanted didn’t come to pass?
Over the next few days, weeks, and months—as I have already witnessed—there is going to be a lot of unbalanced judgment, fear, and attacking going on, as those who wanted this or that outcome, didn’t get their way. And only love and forgiveness can help us weather this storm.
But as James Corbett states in the below video, this is a program of hate that our would-be masters want us to fall for. They know events like the presidential race are a great way to divide the people, to pit brother against sister, mother against daughter, and father against son. But do we want to allow ourselves to be used as pawns, fighting over what has essentially become a popularity contest?
I think we can invoke a more productive state of being, to find within ourselves love and forgiveness. We can acknowledge that the reasons we had for believing in one viewpoint or another are real and valid, but we need not also see things in a black and white context.
Ultimately, we’re all on this planet together, we all need air to breathe, clean water, and food to eat, and a world free of crime and hatred to do it in peace. We may not agree on everything, but the things that matter for all of us can, and should, be recognized as common ground.
Let’s not turn to hatred and instead turn to love, for it seems to be the only answer that is healing, uplifting, and inspiring—all traits our world so desperately needs to end the madness of our age and enter a new one of prosperity for all.

Whatever side of whatever political divide you are on, these times will pass. The question is what will emerge on the other side. Do we want a world of hatred and division where people are divided and ruled by psychopaths and warmongers, or a world where love brings us together to create the world we want to live in? It’s not the Powers-That-Shouldn’t-Be’s choice to make; it’s ours. So what world do you want to live in?
