For those of us in the awakening community who feel that there is ‘something wrong’ about the system we seem to be trapped in, but can’t really wrap their head around what it is exactly, this article and the imbedded video below may contain the most important information you’ve ever heard.

Listening in on the conversation between documentary filmmaker Josh Del Sol Beaulieu and empowerment activist and legal expert Cal Washington will give you a taste of what you are in store for:
Josh: Everyone has this sense of, there’s something not right, and it’s something fundamental, there’s like a fundamental fraud, that what I thought was true I’m finding out is not true, and that can be traumatic for people, but, you know, we’re all collectively as human beings having that experience.
Cal: And you can see it in the uprisings in other countries, and they’re trying to keep it out of the news, etc., but there’s a definite feeling of dissatisfaction here, like there’s something wrong. Once you understand why it’s happening, then you need to understand what to do. And that’s what this is all about.
Josh: So it turns out, there is a way we can actually hold individuals within corporations and governments accountable for what they are doing. And this has the potential to change everything.
Smart Meters
The installation of ‘smart meters’ on our houses is the real-world context for much of the discussion in the video. Activism against the installation of smart meters has been particularly strong since there is belief not only that smart meters are an invasion of privacy, but that the radiation coming from smart meters can cause serious illness and disease, including cancer.
Enter Cal Washington. Josh introduces Cal in the video as someone who, over 15 years of study and action, has discovered a ‘roadmap’ by which people can challenge these installations and prevent them from occurring based on what he calls the ‘Power of Liability.’
What Cal tells people who are fighting against the installation of smart meters in their homes is that the proposed installation is in reality an offer of a new contract. While we could refuse it, companies tend to take advantage of our laziness or ignorance to gain a ‘tacit agreement’ to the contract. His ‘Notice of Liability,’ then,
…is basically a counter-offer of a contract that is being implemented to put a device on everybody’s house. They’ve gotten us into a tacit agreement, this clarifies it, and expresses the counter-offer in such a way that those that don’t want the meter can say ‘I don’t want a meter, and if you do put a meter on my house, it’s going to cost YOU x amount of dollars per day, (per month, per week, whatever, however you want to do it) in order for you to carry out this contract.’
Making Individuals Within The Corporations Liable
Cal has found a legal avenue past the stonewalling and disempowerment that corporations have enjoyed over individual citizens for so long, because now the human beings within these corporations can legally be targeted in this notice of liability:
We’re saying that all these illusions, all these ‘Wizard of Oz’ type of things, we’re saying you as a human being are now liable, you can’t hide behind your position in a corporation or in a government.
You will find out in the video how Cal has caused several high-ranking politicians to resign on the basis of his putting those individuals on a ‘notice of liability’ or ‘notice of default’. He has also caused some judges to get up and flee the courtroom when they see him coming in.
Cal has been successful in helping communities to fight against the installation of smart meters on their homes, and it is becoming common knowledge that accepting the installation of smart meters is not mandatory for residents. Smart meters are a pertinent issue, because it is demonstrable that smart meters are part of a larger global agenda of enslavement that uses the data from smart meters.
However, the information Cal presents in the video has much more far-reaching information, which will ultimately help us understand how all laws that we have previously followed are based on our agreement and consent, meaning that we actually have authority over all aspects of our lives as promised by Natural Law.
Our ‘Authority’ Actually Has No ‘Authority’
The underpinning of our ability to make a counter-offer to the contracts that bind us is that in actual fact our authority does not have the ‘authority’ to carry out any action that affects us unless we give tacit agreement to a contract that governs that action. Here’s how Cal puts it:
What I’ve noticed in all my dealings over the last 12 or so years is that everything has to be done by contract, because there’s no authority, it’s all commerce. Once you understand that, and you operate at that same level as them, not in ignorance where they’ve tried to keep you, the game changes. It’s a game-changer. You’re now playing the proper game in the proper court.
Maritime Law
Cal discusses here playing the ‘game’ within the layer of jurisdiction of our countries that is governed by what he calls the ‘Law Merchant,’ what others refer to as ‘Maritime Law.’ Maritime Law was originally designed as the commercial law that oversaw the processing of merchant goods coming into a country’s ports from another country. However what he discovered is that Maritime Law has been transposed onto the governmental authority of most or all countries in the world, where a country is actually treated as a ‘corporation’ and we become subject to the laws of that corporation based on our unwitting consent through things like a parent signing a child’s birth certificate.
It can get complicated, but I believe it is crucial for the awakening community to come to an understanding of Maritime Law, as well as the law that rules above it called Common Law, which itself is fully subject to Natural Law. That is why, in the next instalment, I will endeavour to simplify these different laws and their relationship to each other so that each individual will have the opportunity to empower themselves in the face of what we now know is our illegitimate ‘authority.’

Our Awakening
Cal Washington is not a man who is using this powerful knowledge for his own profit. And he does not advise anyone else to go that route either. For him it is a matter of helping humanity as a whole to awaken from the enslavement we have been under and empowering us to create a new world as an expression of our freedom grounded in this knowledge.
Josh: So what do we need to do, as awakening human beings, who care about our planet, who care about our families, and our children and our grandchildren, what do we need to do to make this potential reality real?
Cal: Actually DO IT. That’s all, like, you know, send in a Notice of Liability. If we the people actually DO something, there’s nothing that ANYBODY can do to stop it. It can’t be stopped. If enough people on this planet wake up to what’s really going on here, and fix the problem at a fundamental level, the planet would run WAY better, and everybody would live in plenty, and everybody would live in a better harmonious way.
