While speaking with Daily Show correspondent Jordan Klepper during a rally in New Richmond, Wisconsin, Lindell was confronted about his predictions about Donald Trump.
When asked by Klepper if he thinks Trump will be reinstated as president later this year, Lindell replied, “Absolutely.”
“This is the crime of the century you’re describing, and they came to the My Pillow guy,” Klepper said. “It’s like watching that Bigfoot show. They don’t find Bigfoot at the end, but if you tune in next week, maybe it’s going to happen.”
Lindell laughed at Klepper’s remark, saying, “Good one.”
“Thank you,” Klepper responded.
Lindell then stormed away from the interview after saying, “You guys are horrible.”
Lindell posted a video of the interview online, telling former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon that Daily Show producers insisted the interview be conducted in front of portable toilets.
