(Stillness in the Storm Editor) Identity politics and divide and conquer techniques are employed by the powers that be with great effect. Currently, this agenda plays out in many different arenas, in this case, the world of gender identity and sexual expression. Pride parades, according to some, started because the LGBTQ community is being oppressed in various ways, and the event provided a venue where awareness could be spread about hardships suffered. A straight pride parade obviously can’t make the same claim, as heterosexual gender-normatives aren’t oppressed in the same way. Some people are criticizing the very idea of a straight pride parade, saying it is a jab at the LGBTQ community. On this score, I can understand the reaction, but I think there’s an opportunity for unity here.
Tim Pool, in the following video, shares his opinion that the infamous provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos is actually a really good thing. Pool asserts that an openly gay man heading a straight pride parade should be regarded as a step toward unity and inclusion—which are presumably the values promoted by the LGBTQ community.
But instead of this situation creating unity, it’s creating more division, as some people regard the strait pride parade as only offensive.
Of course, not everyone has good intentions when it comes to participating in the straight pride event, but that doesn’t mean the spirit of the event should be disregarded for a few dissenters.
For the record, I’m not a promoter or dissenter of the straight pride event. I’m merely using this as a point of discussion for revealing the divide and conquer agenda.
Is pride only reserved for oppressed people? Why is it that black-pride, latin-pride, gay-pride, trans-pride is perfectly acceptable, even commendable but straight-pride, white-pride, and heterosexual-pride is only offensive and insulting?
How many of you cringed when you saw the words: white-pride and heterosexual-pride?
Likely some will say that merely raising these questions means dog-whistling for the alt-right. If that’s the case, let me clearly state here and now I am not a white-supremacist, racist, or anti-LGBTQ. Asking these questions is important because human beings are being adversely affected by what I consider to be less than truthful and accurate ideas—namely, that pride is only for oppressed people.
If all people should be respected, and unity and tolerance are valuable, then why the double standard?
Discussing this is difficult in the current environment because it’s challenging for many to separate the essence of a thing and the thing itself. I suspect this is largely due to entertainment-centric culture along with the lack of philosophy education in schools. Regardless, the discussion is important to have.
Consider this, a man threatening you with a butcher knife is scary. You should take steps to defend yourself. But does that mean butcher knives in general are evil and should be wiped from the earth? No, of course not.

Similarly, are people gathering to celebrate themselves bad? Is it inherently disrespectful? Is anyone harmed by pride? No. Will some people at these events cause trouble. Surely, but that doesn’t mean the spirit of the entire event is tainted by one person, or even a majority.
The Deep State wants you to believe it can be. The Deep State wants you to believe that what makes a gathering of people good or bad is what some people do, even what they believe or do outside the event itself. But this is a false premise. And it’s easily recognizable to anyone who wants to consider the essence of what makes the spirit of an event good or bad.
I’ll give you one more example to think about.
The founding fathers appear to have created the governing structure of the United States for prosperity and freedom. Did they get it perfect? No. The errors of future generations can’t be truly laid at the feet of the founding fathers.
Similarly, even if the straight pride event was concocted by neo-Nazis the idea of straight-pride isn’t tainted. The two are separate discrete things, trying to lump them together so you can claim the spirit of the event is inherently bad is logically fallacious.
Use your mind to think carefully about these things. The powers that be want you to take a reactionary low-fi stance. But that doesn’t have to be the one we invoke. There’s always an opportunity for unity and fellowship, which will ultimately lead to greater well-being for all involved.

Stillness in the Storm Editor: Why did we post this?
The forces behind the Deep State know that a people united around common values and truths have the power to overthrow the systems of control. For a people who recognize their common needs and interests is well-nigh unstoppable, easily capable of removing despotic tyrants from power. Given this, the powers that be employ elaborate and advanced divide and conquer tactics to ensure the people forever fight themselves, all while the Deep State reaps rewards of civilization. The following information reveals an aspect of this divide and conquer agenda. With this knowledge in hand, and a willingness to undo the social programming that has turned you into a divide and conquer dupe, the agenda can be undone in short order. Merely recognizing the agenda isn’t enough. You must look within to see if your thinking, language, and behavior have been tainted by this agenda. The reality is, almost no one is blameless. And the good news is that with honest effort, and self-reflection, you can make new and better choices, ones that reject the temptation to rage against another for their views. Ultimately, we’re all on the same world, with limited resources, trying to live the best lives possible—this commonality is the link that brings us all together. And it is the knowledge you need to release your antagonism and participate in the adventure of bringing peace back to our blue planet.
