Former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows during an interview on Just the News AM with host Sophie Mann said that prominent Republican figures, including former President Trump, are speaking about developing a policy platform somewhat like the GOP-backed “Contract with America” more than two decades ago.
“I’ve been talking to Speaker Newt Gingrich, Lindsey Grahm, the president. We actually met together to talk about a path moving forward that’s focused on policy that everybody can come together on. You may remember back in the 1990’s there was a Contract for America,” Meadows noted. “Most people don’t remember what those 10 points were, but what we’re doing is looking at something like that. We won’t call it a contract,” Meadows said, remarking that “we’ll be working on an America first agenda that actually sets the narrative for honest debate leading into 2022.”
Prior to serving as White House chief of staff during a portion of the Trump administration, Meadows spent years serving as a U.S. Congressman from the state of North Carolina.

Stillness in the Storm Editor: Why did we post this?
The news is important to all people because it is where we come to know new things about the world, which leads to the development of more life goals that lead to life wisdom. The news also serves as a social connection tool, as we tend to relate to those who know about and believe the things we do. With the power of an open truth-seeking mind in hand, the individual can grow wise and the collective can prosper.
