(Marko De Francis) Kimberly Halkett, a reporter for Al Jazeera, was accused yesterday of calling White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany a “lying b#@ch.” The media was quick to claim that this didn’t take place, but the video evidence, quickly gathered by citizen journalists might tell another story.

Before reviewing the evidence, it should be noted that Halkett claims she did not in fact call McEnany a “lying b#@ch” but claims she said “Okay, you don’t want to engage.”
Listen to the exchange, unedited video directly from the Offical White House YouTube channel. (Starts at 23:30)
Halkett’s response:
Thanks @JackPosobiec I appreciate you, and others, who take the time to listen to the audio, and reflect it accurately. Again, to be clear, what I said was, "Okay, you don't want to engage." https://t.co/n9dcaoMXeq

CNN reporter Daniel Dale, cited the transcript in a tweet, seeming to confirm that Halkett was right.
"Some are saying" is such garbage. The official White House transcript has the quote correct. https://t.co/BRzATL5Q1o pic.twitter.com/eZNbgTvfes

My Analysis
The phrase “Okay, you don’t want to engage” and “You’re a lying b#@ch” has a phonetic syllabic correspondence, meaning the statements sound the same to a certain extent. But, if one were to try to say “Okay, you don’t want to engage” at the speed at which Halkett said what she did, it would be quite difficult.
Try it yourself. What do you think?
This issue is further compounded by the fact Halkett was wearing a facemask and this makes it impossible for camera footage of her to be interpreted using lip-reading, which might have shed more light on to the situation.
For many who heard the audio, it’s clear that Halkett did, in fact, call McEnany “a lying b#@ch.”
Given the proven fact that the mainstream media continues to publish outright lies and falsehoods on a regular basis, it seems more plausible, given all the evidence, that Halkett did call her “a lying b#@ch” and whoever transcribed the audio doctored the transcript to fit the mainstream media narrative.
What do you think?
Try to say “Okay, you don’t want to engage” as quickly as Halkett claimed she did. Can you do it?
In the end, whether or not the Al Jazeera reported did say this or not, the issue isn’t criminal.
But, if Halkett did call McEnany what she did, and it was later covered up, then this would be a concern.
In my frank and honest opinion, I think McEnany has made fools of the lying media in these press briefings, mainly using facts to do so. And like the sore losers that they are, some of their toxicity is starting to spill over.
Hopefully, clearer examples can come to light as time goes on.
