Prolific author JK Rowling compared prominent streamer Vaush to her violent ex-husband. This is the latest development in the continuance of her recent public discussion surrounding women’s rights and the trans lobby in the United Kingdom.

Vaush suggested that Rowling “shut the fuck up” and proposed a “Women be quieter and start apologizing challenge” as a response to Rowling standing up for women’s right to be safe from biological males in prisons and shelters.

“Listen Joanne you don’t get to play the victim card when you’re the advocate for taking away women’s rights here,” was Vaush’s response.

Rowling has been vocal in her opposition of the Scottish Gender Recognition Reform Bill, a bill she says will “harm the most vulnerable women in society: those seeking help after male violence/rape and incarcerated women.”

Previously, Rowling remarked about how the UK Labour Party was indecisive about defining what they believe a woman to be. This in light of the political group’s remarks on International Women’s Day.

“Someone please send the Shadow Minister for Equalities a dictionary and a backbone,” Rowling commented on Tuesday.

The author’s remarks in recent days have actually been pro-women, despite what Vaush now claims in his conversation with Rowling. The discrepancy between the two is what they define as “woman” in the first place.

As for Vaush himself: “My ravenous desire for a daughter-wife has nothing to do with pedophilia,” the streamer infamously claimed back in December 2019.

Other opinions of Vaush that have courted controversy include: “It is possible for an adult and a child to have a sexual relationship and for it to have positive outcomes on the child as well.” This is on top of the streamer’s apparent standard that “we’ve all jerked it to loli at some point or another.”

It’s unclear if JK Rowling has been made aware of Vaush’s controversial opinions on these topics for herself.

The Harry Potter author has been subjected to social media outrage by the far-left in recent years given her opinions on biological males in women’s spaces. Enough so that it made Rowling the target of unsolicited harassment by the “Drag Queen” community.
