Jesse Watters Reacts to Poll Showing 44% of Dems Don’t Want Biden to Run In 2024

(Martin Walsh) Fox News host Jesse Watters delivered an interesting take regarding President Joe Biden’s chances of re-election in 2024.

Watters sounded off about a poll that found 44% of Democrats want another person to run in 2024 besides Biden.

The NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist National poll, referenced by Watters, found that 44% of Democrats want someone else to be the Democrat nominee in 2024.

“They [Democrats] don’t think that Joe Biden can win re-election,” Watters continued. “They think his presidency is so far costing them power in the house. Democrats obviously want their agenda enacted and so far Joe Biden has not really been effective in enacting their agenda.”

The host added, “Democrats want to be inspired. That’s why Democrats usually vote for the guy that sends the thrill down their leg … Is Joe Biden inspiring Democrats? No. He can barely make it through a speech on a teleprompter. He’s boring and threatening their hold on power.”

WATCH:

A stunning poll released by CNN found that a majority of registered Democrats and Democrat-leaning Independents think the party should look elsewhere for the 2024 nomination.

The poll asked registered Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents who they believe the party “should nominate as the party’s candidate for president in 2024,” giving them the options of Biden or a different candidate.

Only 45 percent of Democrats said the party should renominate Biden, while a whopping 51 percent said they preferred an alternative. Five percent said they had no opinion on the matter.

Of the Democrats who said they wanted a different candidate over Biden, 31 percent said it’s because they don’t want the president to be reelected, while 35 percent said it’s because they don’t think Biden could win against Republicans.

Nineteen percent noted concerns about Biden’s age, who is 79.

Last week, a Morning Consult/Politico survey found that 45 percent of Americans approve of the president’s job performance, while 51 percent disapprove.

However, just 45 percent of voters believe that he is “mentally fit.”

And even more frighteningly, the one thing that had the “most consensus” among those polled is that they see Biden as a “weak leader.”

This comes a week after another poll showed that a majority of Americans believe that President Biden is mentally unfit to be the commander-in-chief.

According to a recent Washington Post/ABC News poll, a strong majority of voters said Biden is unfit to serve as president while also revealing the lowest job approval rating (37 percent) from the poll since becoming president over a year ago.

“The recent poll revealed that the “underlying weakness” is to the degree that most adults “have doubts about his personal capacities.” When the respondents were asked if he was a strong leader, 59 percent said no, while 36 percent said yes. In fact, those percentages resemble his job approval; 37 percent approve and 55 percent disapprove,” the report stated.

“When asked about Biden’s “mental sharpness” to serve as president, 54 percent said they do not think Biden is mentally sharp enough, while only 40 percent said he is. When respondents were asked the same question in May 2020, when Biden was only a candidate, 51 percent said he had the “mental sharpness” needed to serve as president, while 43 percent said he did not,” the report added.

Late last year, a survey from Quinnipiac found that 54 percent of Americans don’t think Biden will seek re-election in 2024.

The poll found:

-Americans were asked about whether they’d be more or less likely to vote for a candidate who was endorsed by Joe Biden. Overall, 16 percent say they would be more likely to vote for the candidate, 29 percent say less likely, and 53 percent say it doesn’t make a difference.

-Among Democrats, 42 percent say they will be more likely to vote for the candidate, 53 percent say it doesn’t make a difference, and 3 percent say less likely.

-A majority of Americans, 54 – 33 percent, say they think Joe Biden will not run for president in 2024, with another 13 percent not offering an opinion.

-Just under half of Americans (48 percent) say they think it would be bad for the country if Joe Biden ran for president in 2024, while 37 percent think it would be good for the country.

Stillness in the Storm Editor: Why did we post this?

The news is important to all people because it is where we come to know new things about the world, which leads to the development of more life goals that lead to life wisdom. The news also serves as a social connection tool, as we tend to relate to those who know about and believe the things we do. What is our mission? Why do we post what we do?

Our mission here is to curate (share) articles and information that we feel is important for the evolution of consciousness. Most of that information is written or produced by other people and organizations, which means it does not represent our views or opinions as managing staff of Stillness in the Storm. Some of the content is written by one of our writers and is clearly marked accordingly. Just because we share a CNN story that speaks badly about the President doesn’t mean we’re promoting anti-POTUS views. We’re reporting on the fact as it was reported, and that this event is important for us to know so we can better contend with the challenges of gaining freedom and prosperity. Similarly, just because we share a pro/anti-[insert issue or topic] content, such as a pro-second amendment piece or an anti-military video doesn’t mean we endorse what is said. Again, information is shared on this site for the purpose of evolving consciousness. In our opinion, consciousness evolves through the process of accumulating knowledge of the truth and contemplating that knowledge to distill wisdom and improve life by discovering and incorporating holistic values. Thus, sharing information from many different sources, with many different perspectives is the best way to maximize evolution. What’s more, the mastery of mind and discernment doesn’t occur in a vacuum, it is much like the immune system, it needs regular exposure to new things to stay healthy and strong. If you have any questions as to our mission or methods please reach out to us at [email protected].
