(Martin Walsh) ABC’s “The View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg threatened to “punch somebody” if she hears another Republican say “thoughts and prayers” in response to the school shooting in Texas.

The segment immediately went off the rails when all of the liberal hosts took turns insulting and smearing Republican lawmakers for not supporting the gun control measures being pushed by Democrats.
Co-host Joy Behar called for Republicans to “stop gaslighting,” which led to Goldberg threatening to assault Republicans if they dare to “pray” for a tragedy.
Below is a transcript of the exchange:
Goldberg: “So that’s the question. What are we doing? Because we’re — we’re — why are we always at square one with this? And I swear to God, if I hear another Republican senator talk about their heart being broken, I’m going to punch somebody.”
BEHAR: “And kind of thoughts and prayers.”
Goldberg: “I can’t take any more thoughts and prayers. If your thoughts and prayers were really with everybody, you’d have done something by now. It’s not like everybody is not trying to make something happen. What the hell is going on?”
BEHAR: “I want them to stop gaslighting me also. Stop saying it’s not — it’s not guns that kill people. It’s people that kill people. It’s guns that kill people, OK? Stop saying the opposite. Stop saying that mental illness is behind this. There’s a mental illness in every country in the world, and they don’t have this problem. So stop gaslighting me on that one, and stop saying that you can have a good guy stop a bad guy with a gun. We have seen in both of these shootings in the past three weeks —“
Goldberg: “And was murdered for it.”
BEHAR: “So, stop gaslighting us. And — you know, also the other thing about it is if you followed the money that is what this is all about. This campaign financing business that a person who wants to run — I mean, I’m just a citizen in this country, I don’t know all the civics involved, but it looks as though if you want to run for office, and I have a friend — my friend Robert Zimmerman is running for office now — he has to raise all this money.”
BEHAR: “There’s something wrong with that. Because once you start raising the money then you’re beholden to those people —“
Goldberg: “Well — but let’s — let’s stick to what — what we’re really talking about, because we can talk about all the things that have gone into this, but these are lives.”

Goldberg also went as far as telling Americans who own AR15s that they “better get ready” to hand them over.

Okay, enough with the threats of violence Whoopi. The reason we’re back here again is because the people you vote for want guns banned so that they can create a dystopian dictatorship, which is the same reason the sensible folk wish to keep them. You cannot blame an inanimate object for a problem – it is simply a tool. The reason you’re back there again, is because you are trying to make it look like this is a problem when, in fact, you really need to be looking at psychiatric drugs and mind-control programming. There, I fixed it for you. Look at the underlying issues. But you won’t will you? No, because there is an AGENDA here and it’s as plain as the nose on your face. Finally I have this to add:
