On multiple occasions, the deranged Democrat Speaker of the House attempted to impugn President Trump’s character, either through false allegations, or bogus impeachment hearings based on fake dossiers or unproved allegations by Democrat operatives. All the while, the disingenuous hack politician smiled for the adoring media while telling Americans that she prays for him every day, while simultaneously trying to destroy him.

Today, in an uncharacteristic move by the House minority speaker, Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) stood up for his fellow Republican lawmakers and ripped into the petty partisan Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi:

‘Unless Speaker Pelosi reverses course and seats all five Republican nominees, Republicans will not be a party to their sham process and will instead pursue our own investigation of the facts,’ McCarthy said.

House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy on Wednesday pulled all five of his nominees to the special committee investigating the January 6th MAGA riot after Speaker Nancy Pelosi rejected two of them.

McCarthy charged Pelosi with ‘playing politics’ and creating a ‘sham process’ with her decision to reject Republican Congressmen Jim Banks and Jim Jordan, both strong allies of Trump, from serving on the panel.

Pelosi responded by essentially calling both lawmakers liars:

‘With respect for the integrity of the investigation, with an insistence on the truth and with concern about statements made and actions taken by these Members, I must reject the recommendations of Representatives Banks and Jordan to the Select Committee,’ Pelosi said in a statement.

‘The unprecedented nature of January 6th demands this unprecedented decision,’ she added.

McCarthy slammed Pelosi for her decision.

“Why are you allowing a lame-duck speaker to destroy this institution?” he asked, adding “This is the people’s house. Not Pelosi’s house.”

McCarthy vowed to hold his own investigation that he said would include a look at Trump’s role in the January 6th riot, where the former president’s supporters stormed the Capitol to interrupt the certification of Biden’s presidential victory.

‘This represents an egregious abuse of power and will irreparably damage this institution,’ McCarthy said in a statement blasting Pelosi’s move, saying it showed ‘this panel has lost all legitimacy and credibility and shows the Speaker is more interested in playing politics than seeking the truth.’

McCarthy blasted the sham investigation, suggesting the so-called “riots” may have been a set-up: “Two main questions, why was the Capitol so ill-prepared for this when they knew on December 14th they had a problem?  And what have we done since then to make sure it never happens again?” He also asked why, if they knew about a potential uprising, why didn’t they do anything to protect the police?”

The House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the U.S. Capitol’s investigation was expected to be highly contentious. The panel will hold its first hearing in six days, on Tuesday, July 27.

Nancy Pelosi’s highly partisan and divisive behavior would never be tolerated by our dishonest media if she were a Republican.

Curiously, Politico writer and CNN analyst Rachael Bade tweeted about Pelosi’s removal of the two Republicans, calling it a “gift” to Kevin McCarthy, as Pelosi proves to everyone that her motives are purely political and that she has no interest whatsoever in finding the truth about January 6th.
