Brittany Wilson is accused of fatally stabbing her boyfriend, Harrison Stephen Foster, 34, with a sword Friday night.
According to KFVS, police responded to a 911 call at 378 Barberry Street at 11:05 PM Friday night.
Upon arrival, police officers spotted a sword on the lawn and saw Wilson standing outside covered in blood.
Wilson told police she and her boyfriend had been using meth earlier in the day.
The boyfriend reportedly believed he had several entities living in his body so Wilson stabbed him to “set him free” of the entities.
“Officers located a deceased male in the basement of the residence who had apparent, fresh stab wounds on his body.” Cape Girardeau Police said.
Wilson was charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action and taken to the Cape Girardeau municipal jail.
“Wilson’s bond is set and $2,000,000.00 cash only,” police said in a press release.

Stillness in the Storm Editor: Why did we post this?
The news is important to all people because it is where we come to know new things about the world, which leads to the development of more life goals that lead to life wisdom. The news also serves as a social connection tool, as we tend to relate to those who know about and believe the things we do. With the power of an open truth-seeking mind in hand, the individual can grow wise and the collective can prosper.
