H.R.25 Calls For Abolishing The Internal Revenue Service by repealing the income tax and other taxes abolishing the Internal Revenue Service, and enacting a national sales tax to be administered primarily by the States.

    Justin,
    Discernment is a difficult process and is not helped by cryptic comments from those who like a lot about an issue. My first contact with H.R. 25 left me concerned because it had not been recorded on the Congressional record for 2019. Your post is the second time I came across it.. Wikipedia has a brief history of this area and it goes back to 1999 as an unsupported concept. Encouraging people to believe that some idea is new and likely to be implemented is unhelpful when a more thorough statement could have easily been charged to advocate for the backing that will be needed for an idea to have any traction. If this is part of the new economic system of the current administration it might be appropriate to mention how to support it. As it stands it sounds like the same old bill that has never made it out of committee.

      Agreed Alan,
      that HR 25 has been around the block for 20 years and seems to be ‘rehashed’ like left over mashed potatoes.
      However, one difference this time around is that the dinner table is being reset with new chinaware and family sterling silver flatware.
      The analogy is that we are in rapidly changing socio-cultural
      environs with an administration focused on helping the average person NOT just the elites. It creates tension for sure, and now consider how that thrusts us up out of the inertia of complacency..
      First, it is introduced with an accompanied bill to audit the Fed, which takes care of assessing whether the plumbing has a bad leak that needs fixed. We can’t wash those new dishes if the plumbing doesn’t work properly.
      Secondly, new faces in Congress may tip the scales to enjoin a new adventure in power struggles for the majority. They seem to be activists, and if they perceive these bills as helping their progressive ‘pay for everything’ agenda and are appointed to these high power committee for optics, then step back and watch the landscape change.
      Thirdly, we as a species are emerging into new consciousness levels. If a critical mass is focused on what is good for the whole either subconsciously or overtly, it may be enough to turn Mind into Matter.
      I say- hold on with hope that wisdom prevails over helplessness.,
      So be it.
