Gaia Portal – October 13th 2015: Estuaries of Light prolong controls – with interpretations by Justin

And now the analysis:

I do not have an insider or direct source for the meanings below. This is my interpretation of the update, based on extrapolation and contextual usage of the terms. The meanings provided are not the only one that can be gleamed; in my view all meanings have value especially when shared and discussed openly. Please comment below if interested, I’d love to hear other’s thoughts on this material.

Interpretations: “Estuaries of Light prolong controls.” – An estuary is the place where a river or stream meets the sea as it ebbs and flows with the tides. An estuary of Light suggests a place where light and darkness mingle. Light is often used to refer to true knowledge or wisdom, and the place where knowledge of the past meets insights of the future is the mind. It is here where intuition and guidance is ‘held in the cup’ of awareness, where the conclusions of the past are reanalyzed and purified in an alchemical process of distilling truth from experience. The mind is where the light from the heart meets the darkness of what is unknown, what has been called the mystery, where innovation, creativity and inspiration casts light into the darkness.

The peculiar part of this statement is where it refers to prolonging controls. Control has become a ‘dirty word’ in many awakening circles, but if we consider that consciousness works with other things and beings co-creatively, then when a desire has successfully been manifested, it can be thought of as a type of control. Through our knowledge and methods we control events to bring about a generated result. How this control is exercised is a moral or ethical determination; if our chosen methods harm others.

Taking all of this into consideration, estuaries of Light could be the minds of each embodiment, where the great truth adventure plays out subjectively. Now if the mind is active and open, integrated holistically with the heart, then the type of controls being prolonged will be in harmony with the evolution now taking place. Each awakening soul is in essence acting as a controlling force to guide the awakening along collectively. Conversely, if the mind is inactive and closed, detached from compassion and the heart, the type of controls being prolonged will be hindering the evolution taking place for the collective. Simply put, the ignorance in some creates chaos for all. And that an individual’s choice to take up the great truth adventure and evolve personally directly impacts all others on their paths of evolution.

“Lasting silence comes with the new flows.” – Applying the estuaries theme above, this statement uses the term new flow to indicate some alteration in the process of evolution that has taken place as a result of each individual embodiments choice to grow. Assuming that the mind is being discussed here, a lasting silence can be taken to mean a quieting of the ‘random mind chatter,’ which plagues most of humanity at this time. If this interpretation is correct, then the new flow on average must be positively affecting the inner evolutionary process of humanity. I suspect that this is a marker for evolution, and not a ‘switch that was flipped’ as a result of the new energies. By this I mean that energies of increased awareness draw our attention to adversity and darkness within our own lives. And once we accept the truth of our limited consciousness in these areas we can consciously choose to seek more knowledge about them and be empowered accordingly. For example, a singer when listening to a recording of a their performance can choose to focus on the mistakes so as to become a better singer. The ‘darkness’ that gathers in the estuaries of our own mind is a treasure trove of wisdom waiting to be unearthed. Each island of darkness that is washed over by the light of awareness, calms the seas of emotion on which we sail through life. In other words, by seeking self knowledge and shedding light into our own dark places, we begin to silence the disquiet within, which once done completely, provides everlasting silence. 

“Fortifications come with the silence.” – A fortification is a wall or protective barrier for defense against attack. Keeping in line with the theme of this update, that of seeking truth in the darkness and gaining calm and wisdom as a result, a fortification here could mean the stability gained by developing true knowledge within. Intrinsic knowledge is an idea or premise accepted as true as a result of a personal process of exploration, investigation and contemplation. This is a high-resolution image of truth within the mind, able to impart skill and creative power to the individual that possesses it. 

An example of intrinsic knowledge would be: knowing that hot water makes tea, because we’ve actually gone through the process ourselves. We may not know the precise science of how water mixes with the tealeaves, but we have enough direct experience to know placing a tea bag in hot water will make tea. Extrinsic knowledge is blind faith or belief in an idea, without having any investigation or contemplation into why. Another term for this is dogma, and since we don’t actually know why our chosen belief is true, the reasoning or logic, extrinsic knowledge will always create noise within the mind; a blockage. When we hear our un-investigated beliefs being challenged it causes an emotional reaction of defensiveness. On the other hand, intrinsic knowledge provides stability and certainty as well as a foundation for re-analysis so as to make a new conclusion. For example, if we know how to make tea intrinsically, then if a friend tries to convince us placing a bag of tea in hot water will do nothing, this will be seen as absurd from our point of view. But since our knowledge is fortified by direct experience, we can discern potential errors in another’s thinking, making it much easier to avoid a defensive reaction on our part. We may just calmly as our friend to demonstrate what they are talking about so we can gain direct experience ourselves, which in turn may cause our friend to feel attacked because we don’t accept their truth blindly. The common theme throughout all this how intrinsic knowledge literally builds stronger foundations in consciousness then its mirror image; extrinsic knowledge. 

Taking all this into account, the more completely we know why our beliefs and truths are valid, the more we fortify these ideas with direct experience and personal knowledge. Now we don’t need blind belief in an expert or guru to tell us what’s real, we can discover this ourselves. And the more we slowly do the work of clarifying our knowledge by infusing it with personal investigation and reasoning, the less upheaval and disquiet we will feel emotionally.

“Actuaries list the culprits.” – An actuary refers to someone who tabulates statistics or events to determine risk, usually for insurance companies to charge premiums. Generally speaking the job of an actuary is a record keeper, one who takes stock of events and assesses potential consequences. Since we are each recorders of what IS based on our unique point of view, it stands to reason each embodiment of consciousness has the potential to be an actuary. But what makes an actuary is consciously using one’s awareness to predict the future, to assess potential consequences. Keeping in line with the theme of this update, as we seek for truth in darkness, both within and without, a list of culprits is formed; the things we do not agree with, accept or find morally wrong. From a Natural Law point of view, when we witness harm, it draws our attention to it activating our co-creative desire to service others and stop the harm. This is an essential aspect of Gaia’s evolutionary process, I think. For she has endured untold horrors of environmental destruction all made possible due to pandemic ignorance. Therefore, part of the plan for evolution must be remedy and redress, a truth and reconciliation process starting as a personal choice within each of us, and expressed collectively as social agreements to do no harm, to the Earth or ourselves. 

In my opinion, the darkness of this world will not simply disappear because we stop paying attention to it. The reverse is actually the case, the more ignorant we allow ourselves to become, the more external control and chaos we create for others and ourselves. Billions of people the world over are complicit in many socially acceptable harmful acts perpetrated on the Earth; pollution and environmental destruction. It is only through gaining self-knowledge that we fortify ourselves with courage so as to become actuaries of truth, listing the culprits of dogmatic beliefs that hold us all back. To be clear, the culprits are ultimately not people, there is no one to blame or punish that will magically prevent future problems. For inaccurate, false and dogmatic ideas are the source and cause of all suffering, therefore it is only through seeking and spreading knowledge that we forgive the sinner while we defend against the sin. A person is responsible for their actions, but if we are to solve the true causes of harm it must be done with compassion and respect of others. We cannot stop the harm others cause by harming them in return. The challenge of our age is to find compassionate ways stop the harm of others while also encouraging them to seek truth within their own lives. Harmony is our destiny, but not an automatic eventuality.
