Gaia Portal – May 7th 2016: Escarpments of Light impress from Gaia Higher forms – with interpretations by Justin

Interpretations: “Escarpments of Light impress from Gaia Higher forms.” – An escarpment is a long steep slope, usually one at the edge of a plateau or mesa. In this case, the escarpment a boundary of light, suggesting that the escarpment in question is not physical but metaphysical. A boundary condition between darkness and light we could liken to the boundary between the conscious and the unconscious mind, the line or edge of our knowledge and experience. These boundaries are impressing on to something, most likely the inhabitants of Gaia or those close to her. The term impress refers to the act of gaining the admiration or respect of someone and also refers to the making of a mark. I think that both definitions are applicable in this case. These impressions are from Gaia Higher forms, which suggests beings of a high order of consciousness that could be Hue-mans, but also, angels, elementals or other beings who are closer to Gaia’s order of spiritual being.

I think this statement is suggesting that a convergence line or boundary condition is being refined and delineated that is noticed by Gaia inhabitants. This convergence would be easier to recognize, and therefore, once observed, affects consciousness. For example, when in a dark room with little light, the ability to see detail in the objects within it is less than if a bright light were available. As a matter of fact, the less light there is to illuminate an object, the less color the human eye can perceive. If the escarpments of light are indeed metaphysical, which it seems they are, then the boundary being illuminated would be knowledge vs nescience or ignorance. Knowledge distilled through experience allows consciousness to see details of things in experience. For example, once one gains knowledge of how to cook, familiarizing themselves with the tastes and smells of many different ingredients, one can now recognize individual components of food they eat. One who has no such knowledge perceives the same flavors and sensations, but cannot differentiate them. Instead, the whole experience is homogenized. But through meditation and contemplation, one can actually go back and distil knowledge from experience, they can look for the escarpments of light within their own mind, and push the boundaries of knowingness. For the wisest of kings knows what they do not know, and an escarpment of light, impressed on an individual helps make them aware of their own darkness, their own lack of knowledge. This process of coming to know that which we do not will be a skill that becomes increasingly empowered and important as the evolution of mind and spirit progresses.

“Stereos of viewpoints are accepted and embraced.” – The term stereo refers to the transmission or receipt of waves from two sources, usually in reference to sound. For example, two microphones can be placed close together and used to record sound which captures more detail than just one microphone. The statement refers to viewpoints being accepted and embraced, specifically, stereo viewpoints. This statement is suggesting the capacity for individuals to contemplate or consider two or more points of view. This is a holistic or integrated process of understanding reality. For example, if one chooses to only research or view information that “resonates” with their current beliefs, then they are exercising a dualistic or polarized discernment processes. This method focuses on only one point of view and disregards the rest. As a result, the ability to actually understand the fullness of reality is greatly reduced. Conversely, when one develops the capacity to entertain many different ideas and perspectives at once, a greater ability to understand and know reality is developed. In this example, the only way to see the object as a whole is to look from two different perspectives. If they only focus on one, they won’t actually come to know the whole truth. As such, the ability to listen and entertain many ideas without feeling the need to dismiss or accept one as truth part of an evolved or higher discernment process. Discerning in a limited sense is a binary judgment which says this is either true or not, but this is only the first step. Being able to recognize truth or fiction doesn’t necessarily mean one understand the whole picture. Once an initial discernment has been done, now the greater task of properly understanding how each piece of the puzzle fits together is required. Once this has been accomplished, the initial judgment expands and gains detail. One who has completely discerned the truth of a thing, not only can recognize the untruth about it but also recognizes how these seeming untruths are actually part of a greater truth. Using the example above, once one gains a complete picture of the object in question, they can properly see that only a square or only a circle is not the whole truth. But if they were lazy, and stopped discernment at the beginning, this stereo viewpoint would never have been seen. 

This statement seems to be suggesting that as a result of escarpments of Light impressing from Gaia Higher forms, stereos of viewpoints are accepted and embraced. In other words, the limited discernment of the past, a single point of view, which imparts little understanding, is being expanded to multiple points of view. With it comes greater empowerment, equanimity, and self-realization.

“Latitudes of Inner magnificence are traversed.” – A latitude refers to the scope or degree of freedom imparted to someone to achieve a goal. For example, a writer with no limitations imposed by their editor would have a considerable latitude to accomplish a writing assignment. A latitude also refers to a segment of a spherical object like a planet, defined as a quantity of an angle, usually marked in degrees or minutes. The statement refers to latitudes of Inner magnificence, suggesting that the former definition is the most applicable. That is to say, since latitude refers to a degree of freedom, then a latitude of Inner magnificence would be the degree of freedom an individual feels insofar as their ability to realize their own magnificence. This statement seems to be suggesting that individuals are going within and exploring the hidden aspects of themselves which, in the past, they may not have felt comfortable expressing before. This is most likely a result of expanding one’s mind to see escarpments of light, the boundaries of one’s own consciousness. Consider that routine and what is known can eventually cause stagnation if the drive to seek novelty or newness is not taken up. In our work-a-day lives, we tend to form habits and routines that impart comfort, but eventually, form walls against the unknown, especially in regard to how we see ourselves. I think this is why the universe causes our lives to be upset from time to time because we do not invoke these changes on our own, and as such, the universe gently nudges us back on the path of truth, which requires a steady apatite for the unknown. And once our minds are forced open through a karmic experience, the imagination can now take flight again, inspiring us and showing us new ways of being that would have seemed impossible from the singular point of view of the past.

“Monitors release.” – The term monitor refers the act of observing something, usually in an effort to watch over progress or take care of the thing being observed. Here, the statement refers to the releasing of monitors, suggesting that some kind of spiritual agency was watching over the progress of individuals in their care. Presumably, humanity at large is being observed by higher beings who chose to watch over us during our times of evolution. If these monitors are released, it suggests that some boundary of progress has been crossed or achieved. Quite possibly the first statement regarding escarpments of light is a reference to humanity’s progress.

“Harmonies entreat.” – The term entreat refers to the act of asking someone earnestly or anxiously to do something. The things entreating here are harmonies, which seems to be a reference to sympathetic resonance or entrainment. When two or more objects in vibration come into contact, wherein their motions or rhythms can be shared, a slow process of synchronization takes place. Objects that have no free will go through this process of synchronization as a function of motion transference, and so long as these motions continue to be exchanged, eventually a unified harmony is sounded. But free will beings must actually choose to open their minds and hearts to each other, which begins the process of mental entrainment, the sharing of ideas and knowledge. Taking this into consideration, I think this statement is referring to the higher aspects of consciousness which humanity is only beginning to understand about themselves. The higher self or true spiritual nature of each individual is largely unknown, enshrouded by darkness. But due to escarpments of light impressing, that which was unknown is becoming known, and as a result, harmonies locked within each of us are coming to the surface, able to entreat with others and offer expanded perspectives in the process.
