Interpretations: “Collapsed archaics are rendered.” – The term archaics refer to things that are old or outdated. The term rendered refers to the act of manifestation of a thing or making a copy or image. For example, if one imagines a circle and then draws it on paper, the drawn image would be a rendering. The phrase collapsed archaics suggests an archaic thing which has been replaced by more modern items. For example, a collapsed archaic would be a horse drawn carriage, which is no longer seen or rendered in material form. A general archaic would be an old cell phone from the 1990’s, which still exists, but isn’t the best option to achieve a goal. The point being, one that has collapsed no longer exists. This statement seems to be suggesting that those things which have passed away from manifested reality, which now only live in memory or the universal records of time and space, are reemerging. This could be thought of as those things where were extinct are becoming vitalized again. But since the term archaic usually refers to something that is no longer practical, in relation to an objective or goal, then a paradigm shift in desire itself may be occurring.

That is to say, biodynamic farming was seen as archaic to 20th Century industrialists who wanted to modernize agriculture, and as such, the Green Revolution emerged, moving food production over to artificial farming methods. But now, a resurgence of organic permaculture methods are being rendered. These things which humans have used for thousands of years, which were abandoned in modern times due to a paradigm of ignorance and false progress, are being taken up again. 

One issue with evolution in time and space is that the risk of throwing the baby out with the bathwater is great. Often in the name of progress, growing out of a bed of ignorance, individuals turn away from tried and true methods of the past. And had they truly comprehended and understood these methods, they would have never been abandoned. As individuals, especially in our search for truth, we must always take care not to forsake the truth of the past for some ill-conceived truth of the future. This is because the whole truth is eternal, what was true yesterday, is true today, and will be true in the future. Yet how we conceive of truth determines if it withstands the test of time. For example, the truth that “the sky is blue” is only a half-truth. Given a long enough span of time, the sky will eventually not be blue. A more complete truth would be to say “the sky is composed of gasses which change in opacity and color dependent on what light sources are cast on to it.” That statement will hold true over a longer span of time and space, but eventually, even that will become archaic. 

I think this statement is suggesting that the truth is dynamic from our perspective, in that the things we consider true expand and grow. And that we should not abandon the past for the future, but instead integrate the two. In doing so, we’ll ensure the wisdom we gained in the past isn’t views as archaic, ensuring it can be rendered into everything we be and do. 

Another interpretation, which leads into the next statement, is that these archaic things which are being rendered again are, in fact, old and outdated ways of being. For example, if you learned a more efficient way to fold clothes, but went back to the old way that was less efficient than this could be thought of as collapsed archaics are rendered. This resurgence of what does not serve us is part of the letting go process. For when we envision a new way of being, and infuse this with consciousness energy, a transitional phase from the new to the old takes place. Often we need to experience the contrast between the two before the old way is seen as no longer of service. For example, we may decide to stop eating a comfort food which causes us poor health, but the reason we ate it was for emotional comfort. Until the desire for this food item is completely transferred to the new behavior that satisfies the old need, it will still tempt us. And one day we may fall back and eat the food, feeling the bad effects that come with it, which provide the contrasting experience to invest oneself fully in the new way. This dynamic of contrasting occurs at all levels and when feeling these moments of archaic resurgence, I find it helpful to cultivate gratitude. For example, when I started overcoming my sugar addiction, I felt tempted to eat sugar and then feel bad afterward. I would make it a point to meditate on this feeling and recall it the next time I wanted to eat badly. And then I would also recall this feeling when not eating poorly. This latter step infused the feeling of health with a greater degree of appreciation because the contrast of not feeling healthy was infused into it.

“Collapsed paradigms congeal then fail.” – In the first statement, collapsed archaics were rendered. These renderings could have been mental or physical. For example, we can imagine doing something that no longer serves us, an archaic, which in and of itself, provides the necessary experience needed to not do the thing envisioned. This imagining can be thought of as a rendering. To take it a step further, if we then act on what was imagined, it could be considered a collapsed paradigm congealing. The phrase collapsed paradigm is effectively the same as a collapsed archaic, it is a way of thinking or being that no longer serves us, and was actually recognized as such at one point in our thinking. The term congeal refers to the solidification of cooling of something, which conceptually relates to the collapsing of possibilities to form a manifested result. 

Free will (masculine) is the force in the universe that catalyzes (copulation) potentials (feminine) to produce a manifested result or generated effect (offspring). 

Taking all this into account, this statement seems to be suggesting that those paradigms which no longer serve us are being explored again, and acted upon. The fruits of these actions fail or are not living up to what we expected. For example, we may have overcome our desire for fast food, but one day we’re out with friends and we agree to eat some. We remember from the past that we don’t feel good when doing this, but we also remember how good the food tastes, and we choose to focus on the latter. The collapsed paradigm then congeals into an experience of eating fast food, which fails to live up to what we remembered. Again, this statement seems to be discussing the process of inner transformation, an alchemy of mind. The consciousness with which we use to define our choices, desires and experiences is always changing, even though the outward manifestation looks the same. For example, you may eat the same meal every day, but what you experience changes in each instance. Similarly, the things we choose to do, the justifications we make can and do change with time. The task is to constantly reconcile these choices into holistic ideals, beliefs and goals that hold true everywhere. An ideal that is mutually exclusive with others creates a duality within, which literally divides consciousness against itself. For example, one cannot have a goal to be healthy, and at the same time justify being an alcoholic. The two goals are mutually exclusive, and so long as we maintain this duality, progress in either direction is held back. When we finally let go of and heal the consciousness that yearns for alcohol we’ll make more progress to be healthy in one day than we had in all the days we attempted to maintain the two.

“Flagrants are observed, and forgiven.” – The term flagrant refers to something that is wrong or immoral and or obviously offensive. Usually, when someone is acting flagrantly they are doing so out of some level of selfishness or while on the path of falseness. Given the two preceding statements in this update regarding the reemergence of paradigms that no longer serve us, we could consider the outward manifestation (behavior) appearing to others as flagrancy.  For example, one who is drunk in public often acts with abandon and lack of care for their fellows, which can be thought of as flagrant actions. Those who come in contact with this person would observe and have the opportunity to forgive their flagrancy. But forgiveness is chosen, where observation, to a certain extent, is not. This statement suggests that our fellows who observe are temporary foray into collapsed paradigms are watching and forgiving us. Those who do forgive would radiate acceptance and tolerance, which would indirectly support the person acting flagrantly so as to eventually transcend the temporary outburst. For example, those choosing to step back in progress could find themselves trapped there if courage is not developed to move past it. And developing this courage is more difficult when also feeling a lack of acceptance from those around us. As such, one of the best ways to help others is to simply accept and love them. That does not mean allowing them to continue to harm us, but it does mean recognizing they are doing the best they can with the situation they are dealing with at the time.

“Inner Heart flames ignite the pyres of cleansing.” – A pyre is a fire made from branches, sticks and logs, heaped to make a large pile. Inner Heart flames could be a reference to the divine spark or source of prana or life force energy each living thing contains, which is often associated with the alchemical process of inner transformation. When we feel inspired to do something it is as if the whole universe is flowing through us infusing our awareness with consciousness energy. Most of the time when we feel inspired we do not feel tempted by our addictive habits. We tend to feel happy, entertained, blissful and satisfied. I think this statement is suggesting that when we finally take a moment to observe the flagrancy of our actions, we’ll gain new perspective and be inspired to change. 

All “external” things, which includes thoughts, desires, emotions and feelings, is made possible via internal change with our beliefs, knowledge and perspectives. For example, an alcoholic who has truly changed via inspiration no longer desires their vice. But if one has not truly changed via inspiration, they will still be tempted by impulses, yet they may not choose to act on this. The later modality is a duality of being. It reveals that we haven’t truly healed or overcome the addictive behavior, only learned how to suppress it. But eventually this suppressed desire will reemerge as a collapsed paradigm congealing, and this could provide the necessary experience to finally become inspired. As such, do not judge yourself too harshly for the things you have not overcome yet in your life, for they are there to help show you parts of yourself that remain hidden. Addiction in this sense, which is the act of doing something unconsciously to satisfy an unacknowledged need, helps us by showing us contrasting experiences, which will blossom into pyres of cleansing if we are willing to actually seek the truth about ourselves. Of course, in our world today, addictions have become taboo, and most people think suppression is equal to transcendence, which it is not. One who has transcended their impulsiveness no longer feels any desire for the thing that used to tempt them. And suppression is a method of hiding the truth, whereas inspiration is a method of integrating the truth. Finding the courage to accept the fullness of ourselves will purge addictive behaviors once the need behind them has been recognized.

“Enigmatic illuminaries lead the way.” – The term enigmatic is an adjective derived from the noun enigma, which means mysterious. An enigmatic illuminary is most likely a reference to those individuals or things which actually cause Inner Heart Flames to ignite. Consider that even the most seemingly random or mundane thing can trigger deep transformation within. The more open of mind and heart we are with our experience determines how well the mind will make contact with these gems sent from the universe as synchronicities to inspire us. Consider that if we were truly creating our reality via our choices 100% of the time, we would never be able to experience novelty or newness. Instead, we create most of our reality, but not in an egocentric way. That is to say, we co-create with ourselves and the universe at large, and this co-creative interconnected aspect of reality seems to be operating everywhere. The experience of separateness, privacy, and being alone is an illusion. Thankfully this dynamic allows for the universe to guide and offer help to even the most close-minded of souls. When we make contact with someone or something that inspires change within, but we are not cognizant of who or what this thing actually was, then this would be an example of an enigmatic illumination. And the phenomenon of synchronicity seems to be a very palpable and real example of this as well. Truth be told, we are constantly receiving guidance and catalyzation from the universe. The creator and source of all things coordinates all universal affairs as if the whole scheme of creation was managed specifically for us, but it is actually managed this way for ALL. I think this statement is suggesting that the universe is leading the way, via the truth. And if we are brave enough to follow it, pyres of inner cleansing, or personal evolution, will unfold within us.
