Gaia Portal – March 11th 2016: Collectives of Light gather – with interpretations by Justin

And now the analysis:

I do not have an insider or direct source for the meanings below. This is my interpretation of the update, based on extrapolation and contextual usage of the terms. The meanings provided are not the only ones that can be gleaned; in my view, all meanings have value, especially when shared and discussed openly. Please comment below if interested, I’d love to hear other’s thoughts on this material.

Interpretations: “Collectives of Light gather.” – A collective is a gathering of people or beings usually for some purpose, working, or task. The type of collective referenced here is a collective of Light. The term light is often symbolically representative of true knowledge or wisdom. A being of light would be an individual who has transcended their selfish separate self (the ego gone mad); one who has started to realize the universal self; one who entered into a contract, covenant or enterprise with the creator. This can also be described as enlightenment or the first steps in attaining of the higher self. 

Consider that upon emerging into this life, we forget everything. The identity we had with the source of our beingness and the high spiritual realities of creation are lost in the process of indwelling a body in the flesh. When this occurs, a new ego or identity is formed as the consciousness of the soul forgathers around the epicenter of the earthly experience, the physical body. And on a world such as ours, the influences of society and social doctrines nurture a selfish and limited ego, a pale reflection of the higher self. This separate self usually feels hurt and confused, as if the creator abandoned them to a chaotic and seemingly hellish world. And for most of us, our sense of hurt, abandonment and pain tempts us to forget about the high spiritual purpose we came here for, instead choosing to focus on endless material distractions that obscure the truth from our eye.

But the universe does not forget about us. Every moment of life is a communion with the ALL, as the universal consciousness of the creator moves mountains in an effort to make us remember. And when we finally do remember, when we turn our attention to the creator and the universal scheme of spiritual progression, then do all life’s challenges and hurdles take on a new meaning. The enlightened ego realizes that it is only a servant of the higher self, and once it has been properly healed and enfolded into one’s whole beingness, a solemn pledge to be an agent of light can take place. The covenant of the creator this grand promise of spiritual destiny and attainment. And a being of light is one who chooses the work of expanding consciousness, following the truth, and lovingly assisting in the spiritualization of Gaia. 

All those beings who have taken up this incredible task can rightly be called beings of light, using the aforementioned definition. Given all this, the statement could be implying that the spiritual brotherhood and sisterhood of the creator, those brave souls who have chosen the path laid down by the source of all things, are now gathering in preparation for a working, most likely related to the furthered spiritualization and upliftment of Gaia.

“Required Sentients are called.” – The term sentient refers to the ability to perceive or become aware of things via feeling or sensation, direct perception. Here the statement says there are required sentients, suggesting that whatever the aforementioned light beings are gathering for requires awareness to realize. Speaking more generally, the things we manifest in life without awareness could be of benefit to us, but it is only when we become fully conscious of what we are creating that empowerment is developed. For example, someone who has never cooked a meal before could mix a bunch of ingredients together and make a good dish, but their ability to reproduce the same result consistently will be almost impossible without knowledge (awareness) of what they were doing. And before knowledge can be developed, the will must focus attention on the proper things in experience so as to increase sentience of them. In other words, the act of applying consciousness to build knowledge is the act of making direct contact with experience via sensation. Unlike abstract knowledge, which is representative of direct experience, sentients are like our own personal scientific read-out of a person, place or thing; idea, emotion or sensation. 

The fact that sentients are required suggests that the work being done, in this case, is most likely related to high spiritual evolution. If the universe is constantly communicating with us via all forms of experience, then our ability to directly perceive these messages, without passing them through an intellectual abstraction, helps develop a direct mental image of truth. That does not mean intellectual knowledge, such as logic and reason are not beneficial. But what it means is that the intellectual thought forms created via direct perception are more closely reflective of universal truth. Consider that two apples placed next to a third can easily be perceived as a gathering of three apples, direct perception. Using mathematics, one can use abstractions or symbols to represent the reality of the two apples next to a third, which forms the expression 2 + 1 = 3. The mathematical formula represents reality, but it is not reality itself, it is not the three apples on a table. 

I suggest that the type of working being called for is that of direct perception, direct contact with universal manifestation and therefore direct communion with the source of all things. In the process, we will develop intellectual knowledge or reflections of truth that are more close to The Truth, increasing our empowerment and sense of purpose as a result.

“Seasons of change combine to one.” – Seasons are cyclic periods of time marked by longer or shorter daylight hours. The concept of a season refers to the hermetic Principle of Rhythm, the expression of vibrating objects as they polarize in time. Anything in cyclic motion is also polarizing, moving from a higher to a lower position. This statement could be suggesting that this time of polarization may be coming to an end, as a unification of opposites proceeds into oneness. For example, if one moves a pendulum to the highest position and lets it go, the weight will cycle back and forth until all the energy has been expended. At this point, the pendulum is at rest, and no motion takes place. A season of change can be thought of as spiritual progress developed as a function of unconsciousness. Instead of focusing on the spiritual plan of creation, and gaining the most empowerment in the least amount of time, if we focus on material realities, life distractions, and the drama of our ego, we swing back and forth with great turbulence (emotional energy), experiencing intense seasons of change. But when the eye be single the whole body shall be filled with light. Meaning when we stop focusing on material distractions that lose their savor quickly; when we stop drinking from the cup of death and drink from the cup of life, we no longer thirst or hunger; we don’t experience seasons of longing, scarcity, and lack. I suggest this statement is referring to that process of focusing on the spiritual plan of creation, something that the universe works tirelessly to present to us, yet can only be seen via a genuine desire to make direct contact with the ALL, to seek the truth in all ways, to be sentient of the source.

“Life forms entreat the Cosmic Light.” – The term entreat refers to the act of asking someone to do something with earnestness, genuineness, or intensity. Given the aforementioned discussion about genuinely seeking to make contact with source via sentients, and that the term light refers to a high level of spiritual attainment, true knowledge or wisdom, this statement seems to be suggesting that those beings whose seasons of change are combining into one are making a direct appeal to the creator. Again, the covenant of the creator is the promise to the creature to support them in a universal scheme of spiritual progress, to be as perfect as the creator, within our spheres of influence and activity. But this is not a passive unconscious process, the creator is all-knowing and omniscient (feels all), and as such in order to step into divine destiny one must choose it with all their beingness; there are no half measures when it comes to the creator. 

This choice to become an agent of light is the supreme task of tasks. It will eclipse all of our earthly pursuits. The appeals of romance, material success, physical beauty, and earthly pleasure are mere shadows cast by the ultimate joy of finding the source of all things within yourself, which will breathe new life into all of our experiences. And once we make direct sentients with this spark of divinity, our task now is to nurture it and allow it to grow within. But this will be one of the most challenging things we will ever do because all the years we spent lost in darkness caused us to develop thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors that ultimately hold us back. Abandoning these goals and desires that came from the selfish separate self will be very difficult, yet divinely simple. There are many paths up the mountain, but there is only one mountain top. 

This update was particularly inspiring for me because I have been going through my own process of focusing on becoming more spiritual, loving, forgiving and kind. In the process, I have become conscious of so many limitations that I previously justified as acceptable, but I realize now, they are holding me back. I am often reminded of a passage from the Gnostic text, the Path of the Razors Edge:
