FLASHBACK 2017: Hillary Clinton Now Claims She Didn’t Know About the Russia Dossier – Even Though She Paid for It

As Kristinn Taylor reported earlier on The Gateway Pundit the WaPo article claims the 2016 presidential campaign of Democratic Party nominee Hillary Clinton and the Democratic National Committee paid for the Fusion GPS dossier alleging Russian ties with the presidential campaign of Republican Donald Trump and sordid phony personal smears of Trump.

Hillary Clinton is now claiming she didn’t know about the Russia dossier that her campaign actually paid for until after Buzzfeed published the 35-page document in January of 2017.

So Hillary’s campaign and the DNC paid millions of dollars to a law firm that was gathering oppo research and she had no clue what the hell they were doing? The law firm didn’t communicate with Hillary about this? LOL

** In fact Hillary’s team lied for nearly a year about funding the anti-Trump dossier.

The New York Times reported that Hillary Clinton found out about the dossier after Buzzfeed published the 35 page document.

Officials from the Clinton campaign and the D.N.C. have said they were unaware that Perkins Coie facilitated the research on their behalf, even though the law firm was using their money to pay for it. Even Mrs. Clinton only found about Mr. Steele’s research after Buzzfeed published the dossier, according to two associates who discussed the matter with her. They said that she was disappointed that the research — as well as the fact that the F.B.I. was looking into connections between Mr. Trump’s associates and Russia — was not made public before Election Day.

CBS News also confirmed that Hillary claimed she didn’t know about the dossier until Buzzfeed published the doc.

Hillary Clinton only learned about the now-infamous “Trump dossier” after BuzzFeed News posted it, despite the fact that the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee helped fund it, a source confirmed to CBS News.

It’s important to note that on October 31st, 2016 with just days to go until election day, David Corn of Mother Jones broke the story of a ‘veteran spy’ who gave the FBI information on Trump’s alleged connections to Russia. Christopher Steele, British spy and author of the garbage dossier was not named in this Mother Jones report. Steele was described as a former spy who compiled a dossier with a series of memos on Trump’s connections to Russia.

Only hints of the dossier were published; the salacious claims were omitted.

Hillary never knew about this Mother Jones article that was making its rounds??

Magically, the same people who paid for the dossier, didn’t know anything about the document.

Former DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz said via her spox on Wednesday evening that she was unaware of the Russian dossier funding following WaPo’s bombshell report.

As previously reported, the DNC responded to WaPo’s bombshell report claiming the DNC was involved in the funding of the debunked dossier through a spokesperson. It appeared that the DNC was throwing Wasserman Schultz under the bus in their response.

“Tom Perez and the new leadership of the DNC were not involved in any decision-making regarding Fusion GPS, nor were they aware that Perkins Coie was working with the organization.”

DNC’s deputy chairman Keith Ellison also threw Wasserman Schultz under the bus by distancing himself from the old DNC leadership:

“Tom and me, we weren’t even there at the time,” Ellison told The Hill. “I know as much about it as you guys who have reported it.”

A spokesperson for Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (R-Fla.), who was forced out as DNC chairwoman at the party’s national convention in 2016, also denied knowing about the arrangement.

“She was not aware of anything related to this research arrangement,” spokesman David Damron said.

Democratic officials said that the national party was not empowered to make campaign decisions, particularly at a time when it was racked by controversy over leaked emails and while its chairwoman was being forced out.

“I doubt that any of the leadership at the DNC was even aware,” a Democratic official said.

So nobody at the DNC knew about the dossier and Hillary Clinton herself didn’t know about it until it was published on Buzzfeed in January, but they paid for it…

We’re used to Hillary Clinton lying but even this one had us laughing out loud.
