(Alanna Ketler) Most, if not all of us are familiar with one of the most popular books of all time, the Holy Bible. We have large sanctions of people who live their lives from the knowledge and guidelines in the bible and take the bible as a sort of manuscript for where we came from, how we should live, what happens when we die and what we should do with our time here on Earth.

The bible makes a promise that if you accept Jesus Christ into your heart, follow the rules given and live a life as free of sin as possible, then maybe God will let you into heaven. This is the widespread belief of Christianity, Catholicism and many other sanctions of those major world religions.
However, increasing evidence brought to light from various historians and skeptics show that there was a lot of information that was not only left out of the bible, but disinformation that was deliberately added to the bible after the new testament was released.
Did Jesus Christ Really Die On The Cross?
I recently watched a fascinating short documentary put out by the BBC called, Did Jesus Die On The Cross? That made claims that Jesus actually did not die on the cross after being crucified as many believe as the official story. Instead, historians point towards many missing holes in the bible, particularly between the Old and New Testament and much of the conflicting information leads towards the possibility that Jesus never actually died on the cross.
Some skeptics say that Jesus was not resurrected after dying on the cross, but instead resuscitated, which wasn’t something that people during that time saw very often, (if not ever because we didn’t have knowledge of CPR or any shock paddles to essentially bring people to life back) then and continued on to live a full life.
There are many records discussed in the film that point towards the possibility that Jesus actually went abroad to India, Nepal and the Himalayas and lived among Buddhist monks before and after his alleged crucifixion. Whatever the true story is — it seems clear that the mainstream accepted belief of the events of the bible should be more closely looked at, because there is more evidence pointing towards the fallacies in the bible than the bible’s version of what really happened.
Taking the Bible, and its stories literally certainly is something we should be wary of.

Was Reincarnation Removed From The Bible?
Now, this is where things get really interesting, but also perhaps very uncomfortable for those who follow the Christian faith because reincarnation is certainly not a part of that belief system. Given then, it must be noted that there is quite a bit of evidence that points towards a large percentage of early Christians who did accept the idea of a cycle and rebirth on earth. This was around the period of 0 AD to 500 AD, it was during this time period that the stories of Jesus Christ were written down by hand and passed down to future generations.
During this time, the bible as we know it had not been written and put together in it’s whole form. As the story goes it was 367 AD that the Church Father, Athanasius, designated 66 books that together formed the church canon, essentially the only books that were included in the religious structure and to be recognized by the church.

Upon the discovery of these crucial and important documents listed above, scholars have been able to confirm that Gnostic Christians also believed in reincarnation. At this time they didn’t have the label of Gnostics at all, they were just Christians who followed the message of Christ and just so happened to believe in reincarnation. Unfortunately, later on these ideas were persecuted by the Christian Church.

Christ is the revelation of humanity’s true nature. This supersedes whatever has happened to the book on the earth. This information does not need to deflate christians, or what they have stood on. (So be careful when you present this, that it is not meant to divide or discourage, but be a means of even greater unity and ascension of humanity.) Many religions, I have found, have this revelation hidden somewhere in their tradition. That is immensely humbling! These revelations are for us all to unlock in love….for one another, and for the greater Source that we are all a part of. In peace,

Reincarnation is harmful? Ignorance is harmful. Read, read, and read, Read the Nag Hammadi Library (the church sat on it for fifty years before they allowed its publication, I wondered why. What revisions could they have done to make sure it does not destroy their system of control. Read The Book of Enoch, The church sat on it for over a hundred years before it was published. It was extant all this time in Ethiopia. What are they hiding? In fact, read anything you can get your hands on. Learn both sides of any story, instead of imprisoning yourself in your tunnel vision. The Inquisitions are over. No one will burn you at the stake for reading information not sanctioned by the church. Do not limit yourself to the bible. It is a convoluted compilation of literature with as many versions as there are agenda of our controllers. It is so convoluted that majority of the population needs to have these bible thumpers in their two thousand dollar suits to interpret it for them. I read for hours everyday just to hone my bullshit radar and to deprogram myself from all those years of programming at all the educational institutions I attended. I have a strong belief in a truly loving creator and the one being portrayed in the various versions of the bible is a vindictive one. One life, after which one goes to heaven or hell is more effective a story for control purposes. As a thirteen year old I was in a retreat where a priest was drawing the image of Satan replete with the three-pronged fork and flames and he wrote underneath it “FOREVER”, underlined three times. I innocently raised my hand and said, “I want to follow god because I love him, not because he scares me”. Reincarnation was well-documented until it wasn’t. Study the work of Dr. Ian Stevenson. It is a scientific study of reincarnation. The bible has some truths, but I will never say it is the sole source of truth. Expand your knowledge because the loving creator is not adverse to it.

The opinion expressed by Chan is correct. We have to first read, read books particularly on reincarnation. The more vivid information is given in the book by Sri.Paramahansa Yogananda, AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF YOGI where Yoganandaji’s Guru Sri.Yukteshwara Giri comes in flesh and blood body after his death and this chapter is really very sensational where he explains the stages of souls after Death. After Lord Jesus resurrection, this is the only saint who has resurrected and it shows the Yogic Power of the Saint who can materialize things out of nothing. Anybody who is having doubt about reincarnation has to read the above book. This is the spiritual side. On the intellectual and scientific side, Dr.Ian Stevenson of Virginia University has written lot of books and his junior Dr.Jim Tucker also has evidence in many many cases. The above article by Allanna Ketler that Doctrine of Reincarnation was intentionally removed is correct and that blunder happened in 550 AD against the wish of then Pope who had reluctantly attended the meeting called by then King(do not know name). The one Life dogma believed by Christians thru out world now, is bye passed in that 550 Constantinople meeting which took the Christians to the wrong path and wrong way of living with free Sex etc. etc.Under any circumstances, the Religious Texts should not be amended which creates a very big blunder on humanity. The scientific investigation in this phenomena is going on deeply and many psychiatrists thru out world are accepting the Evidences with surprise. In Hinduism that attempt to amend the basic Doctrines is not made and even in Vedas, there is lot of mention about Reincarnation. We are just spiritual beings on Human Journey. //rudrappa agadi//
