He took to the platform he now owns the majority of shares in on Saturday and did some fantastic trolling with proposed mock changes.

In one of his polls, he proposed converting Twitter headquarters in San Francisco into a homeless shelter.

This comes a month after Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal promised that Twitter employees could work from home forever if they wanted to.

“Here’s the announcement to the company about our approach and commitment to truly flexible work,” he said.

“Business travel is back effective immediately, and all global Twitter offices will open starting on March 15. 2) Decisions about where you work, whether you feel safe traveling for business, and what events you attend, should be yours,” he said.

Decisions about where you work should be yours? Does that apply to everyone or only Twitter employees? Because it is going to be tough for surgeons to perform operations in their homes.

“Wherever you feel most productive and creative is where you will work and that includes WFH full-time forever. 4) Distributed working will be challenging. We’ll need to be proactive, intentional, learn, and adapt. 5) Thank you to the team who has supported us every day,” he said.

Musk may be on to something with making the headquarters a homeless shelter.

In another tweet, the billionaire asked, “Delete the w in twitter?”

 

Then he questioned the top accounts on Twitter, of which he is one, being so inactive and asked if Twitter was “dying.”

“Most of these ‘top’ accounts tweet rarely and post very little content. Is Twitter dying?” he said.

“For example, @taylorswift13 hasn’t posted anything in 3 months,” he said.

“And @justinbieber only posted once this entire year,” he said.

He then started talking about Twitter Blue, the premium service that costs $3 monthly.

“Everyone who signs up for Twitter Blue (ie pays $3/month) should get an authentication checkmark,” the billionaire said.

 

“Blue already has a modifiable 20 second time to edit tweet feature,” he said.

 

Then he started talking about what would be a monumental change to the entire platform.

“And no ads. The power of corporations to dictate policy is greatly enhanced if Twitter depends on advertising money to survive,” he said.

 

“But should be different from ‘public figure’ or ‘official account’ checkmark,” he said.

Musk is preparing to meet with Twitter staff who are “concerned” after he became the largest shareholder of the social media platform.

Musk will hold a town hall with staff at the San Francisco-based firm who are concerned that his new majority ownership will end their woke agenda, The Washington Post reported.

Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal announced the AMA, or “Ask me Anything” session, though he did not say when the event would take place, in an email to staff.

“We say that Twitter is what’s happening and what people are talking about right now. Often, we [at] Twitter are what’s happening and what people are talking about. That has certainly been the case this week,” he said in the email on Thursday in which he invited staff to the AMA.

“Following our board announcement, many of you have had different types of questions about Elon Musk, and I want to welcome you to ask those questions to him,” he said.

It comes after Agrawal Agrawal made the announcement one day after Musk became the largest shareholder in the company.

He took to the platform on Tuesday and said that the billionaire will now be on the Twitter board of directors.

“I’m excited to share that we’re appointing @elonmusk to our board! Through conversations with Elon in recent weeks, it became clear to us that he would bring great value to our Board,” he said in a tweet thread.

“He’s both a passionate believer and intense critic of the service which is exactly what we need on @Twitter, and in the boardroom, to make us stronger in the long-term. Welcome Elon!” he said.

“I felt like I was getting a cold, but Agarikon stopped it in its tracks.”

    Twitter NEEDS to DIE, and I don’t really trust Elon Musk either – he seems to be on one side of the fence at one point, and changes sides the next minute. NOT HAPPY with his interference in the Russia situation, and that probably cost more Russian and Ukrainian lives. EM is not trustworthy at this stage, as far as I’m concerned. He’s making populist comments and purporting to do good one minute, and then doing something completely opposite the next. Also, anyone who invents or promotes neuralink technology is NOT your friend.
