Malone, the inventor of mRNA vaccine technology used in the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines, expounded on this issue during an interview. “The government controlling healthcare; what’s wrong with that? I think that’s where we really have a core problem. Politicians have stepped in and they’re mandating medical care through a menu-driven system,” he told Veronika Kyrylenko of the New American.
“They’re trying to implement a strategy – which is a top-down one – that is favored by the insurance companies, Big Pharma [and] the big hospital chains. But [this] is absolutely not the kind of medical care the American people want.”
McCullough, meanwhile, said: “If anything, we need doctors to work in teams. Doctors cannot sit on the sidelines. [Also], we cannot allow one person to come into a position of visual authority – or maybe even operational authority – when it comes to a complicated problem like the pandemic response.”
According to Malone, he went to CPAC 2022 as it was the perfect place to understand the current public policy situation and learn more about the next steps. McCullough remarked that even though he was actually invited to speak at the event, he was “drawn, as a doctor, to come forward and work with political leaders for solutions in the future.”
Both doctors said they would show up and speak in case the Democratic Party organizes a similar event. “If either of us are invited to speak in front of a Democratic convention, we would be glad because this is about saving lives; this isn’t about politics,” said Malone. The mRNA vaccine inventor added that COVID-19 had been politicized when “it shouldn’t have been.”
For his part, McCullough admitted to being a centrist voter at first. “I previously have been a Democratic voter, but I’ve moved – and have been recruited over – to the Republican Party,” he said. The Texas-based cardiologist explained that the GOP, in his opinion, “has the best hope of representing medical freedom.”
CDC owes America an explanation on vaccine safety
Kyrylenko asked the two doctors for comment on a New York Times article that denounced the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention‘s (CDC) practice of hiding data. According to the Feb. 20 article, CDC spokeswoman Kristen Nordlund said the public health agency had withheld data from the American public for fears that it might be misinterpreted and exploited to discourage COVID-19 vaccination.
“Basically, at the end of the day, [the data is] not yet ready for prime time. [The CDC’s] priority when gathering any data is to ensure that it’s accurate and actionable,” Nordlund explained.
McCullough said the CDC “owes America an explanation on vaccine safety,” given that it holds millions of reports about it. He continued: “There is a prevailing view in the CDC and the Food and Drug Administration that the vaccine will not be effective until everybody takes it – not just once. I can tell you: That prevailing view, in my personal estimation, is flawed.”
Malone dubbed the CDC’s actions as “scientific fraud,” explaining that he would face sanctions if he were to do the same. “I think we’re all owed an apology. It turns out, we’re completely vindicated,” he said.
“I’ve watched [the CDC] over the years become more and more [of a] political arm and not serve its function. [It has] become purely a political organization, and [an] arm of the executive branch. What [it has] done is, in my opinion, obscene.”
The mRNA vaccine inventor issued a stern warning to CDC employees, some of them anonymous. “I think they are now at a point of choosing. There are going to be legal consequences and I believe they have a choice. These government employees that have been participating in hiding this data … can either be defendants or witnesses. It is time for them to step up and speak out.”
