CANCER. A drastic reassessment of how Cancer is treated is needed. How cancer is largely prevented is another story, but get this:

The Journal of Clinical Oncology (Volume 16, issue 8, December 2004, pages 549 to 560) reported a 97% failure rate of chemotherapy given to adults with cancer. The authors of the study did a meta-analysis of 14 years of data from adults who had developed cancer. This was a gigantic study published in the gold standard of cancer research – The Journal of Clinical Oncology.

Now if Apple made phones that exploded in the hand of consumers 97% of the time, Apple would not only be forced to reassess how they are making their product…they would be out of business and most likely criminally liable. They would never work in this town again.

Yet when it comes to the companies who craft cancer “treatments” its business as usual with virtually zero change in approach since Nixon declared a “war on cancer” in 1971. Thats a long fricken time to keep failing, and also to keep lining the pockets of certain people and organizations as average people keep losing the battle. This is far beyond simply being wrong or misguided. This is either pure lunacy, or it’s criminal. (probably both)

AIMS:
“The debate on the funding and availability of cytotoxic drugs raises questions about the contribution of curative or adjuvant cytotoxic chemotherapy to survival in adult cancer patients.
MATERIALS AND METHODS:

We undertook a literature search for randomised clinical trials reporting a 5-year survival benefit attributable solely to cytotoxic chemotherapy in adult malignancies. The total number of newly diagnosed cancer patients for 22 major adult malignancies was determined from cancer registry data in Australia and from the Surveillance Epidemiology and End Results data in the USA for 1998. For each malignancy, the absolute number to benefit was the product of (a) the total number of persons with that malignancy; (b) the proportion or subgroup(s) of that malignancy showing a benefit; and (c) the percentage increase in 5-year survival due solely to cytotoxic chemotherapy. The overall contribution was the sum total of the absolute numbers showing a 5-year survival benefit expressed as a percentage of the total number for the 22 malignancies.

RESULTS:

The overall contribution of curative and adjuvant cytotoxic chemotherapy to 5-year survival in adults was estimated to be 2.3% in Australia and 2.1% in the USA.

CONCLUSION:

As the 5-year relative survival rate for cancer in Australia is now over 60%, it is clear that cytotoxic chemotherapy only makes a minor contribution to cancer survival. To justify the continued funding and availability of drugs used in cytotoxic chemotherapy, a rigorous evaluation of the cost-effectiveness and impact on quality of life is urgently required.”

97% failure. 47 years with the same approach. A massive profit margin for the doctors who prescribe it, and the companies who make it – who are for the most part immune from prosecution, who have the largest political lobby on earth, and who make more money than oil companies off of disease and death. With a now 1 in 4 cancer rate, business must be booming…

There are better ways of doing things. (understatement) and there are far more effective solutions that have already been PROVEN. Can you imagine if the medical researchers, doctors, ex-oncologists, ex-pharma reps, alternative health experts etc who have been speaking out against this for decades were actually funded properly for a change and allowed to continue their research in peace without being hounded by the media, forcibly shut down, thrown in jail, and professionally assassinated? Can you imagine if we actually tried a different approach for once and compared stats?

Regardless of your personal view on this, I am sure you and I can agree that something needs to change here. I have lost loved ones to cancer, I am sure you have too. We both care. Let’s keep looking into this and allow the Truth to prevail.
