Margaret Sanger, American Progressive Eugenicist, and founder of planned parenthood wrote extensively about the benefits of mass extermination of “human weeds.”
When Hitler and the Nazi’s were formulating their “solution” for the Jewish problem, they relied heavily on the second class citizen arguments American Democrats at the time used to justify Jim Crow laws.
The “one drop of blood” policy stated that anyone with any black ancestry was considered a “negro” and therefore a second class citizen subject to Jim Crow.
Interesting to note, the Nazis felt the “one drop of blood” definition was too harsh, even for them.
Take a moment to let that really sink in.
The Holocaust, the extermination of millions of people, the event often cited as the worst human tragedy in history, at the hands of Nazi’s, was partially inspired by American Democrat Progressives.
These same progressives also founded the KKK, and were resistant to the passage of Civil Rights laws during the civil rights movement. On June 10th, 1964, Democrats engaged in a 57-day filibuster of the civil rights act, later condemned by Illinois Republican Senator Everett Dirksen.

All this being said, guilt by association is NOT valid or right. Prejudgement, prejudice, is never right, regardless of the circumstances.
The presumption of innocence is an essential aspect of true justice, the rule of law, morality, and human dignity.
In this case, one can not assume anyone who uses the label “Democrat” or progressive for themselves is also guilty of the intellectually dishonest and morally repugnant attitudes of institutional racism that eugenics Dems pushed as Jim Crow in the past.
Unlike what the neo-bigots of the radical left and right push today, no one can be labeled a racist or bigot simply for belonging to a political party, or, more to the point, supporting a political candidate (e.g. TRUMP).
